they dont have to trade anything to the lakers since dwight is becoming a free agent this summer. they're not crazy enough to trade blake for him. Howard will most likely go to a team where he have a chance to win. the Clippers and the Rockets are both possibilities. with harden and lin or with Blake and CP3. i will be surprised if he stay with Kobe and Nash,

on another note, i think Dwight is an overrated drama queen and no matter where he goes he gonna bring more problems than solutions.

Griffin is the only reason why I give a poop about the Clippers, otherwise they're not interesting at all. If Kobe isn't playing this season, then I guess I'll be Bulls fan all the way. If they're at 100% then I can see them having a great season, especially all things considered.

I'm pretty sad the Grizzlies got swept because they played a great series against the Rockets (?) and managed to beat them. They were a pretty good team, but I guess the Spurs (?) were better. I'm actually pretty interested in the Grizzlies now because of their playoff performance.

Yeah, but Clips can't afford him in that matter. So the solution is a sign-and-trade of Dwight from the Lakers. And who else can at least match Howard's value other than Griffin adding another bench player or a pick. But I agree, he became such a drama queen. I liked him back in Orlando but with his antics when it comes to free agency lol I don't know.

It was actually OKC. But yeah, Memphis had their best season but some people takes it away because of the fact that they defeated a Westbrook-less Thunder to advance to the WCF. I'm not sure if they could maintain their performance next season or they'll improve since they just lost Lionel Hollins (HC) and they should definitely try to re-sign Tony Allen (best perimeter defender in the league). Conley's just going to get better, I hope.

I hope they get better, it'd be sugoi to see them in the playoffs again. I was actually shocked they made it this far, but I haven't watched NBA before playoffs... rather, one or two Lakers game before playoffs.

But will it be enough? They have to deal with the Heat, the Bulls, possibly Clippers, Pacers, Knicks, and Nets.

i said often, not all. and rose is a failure yeah. kid get injured, get cleared by doctors but dont wanna play anymore, not even motivated to win championship. he have no heart. also his MVP was undeserved, the media just wanted another Jordan trying to make him into something he isn't
Blake are Irving are the best so far. have yet to see what Anthony will do in a non-injured season

Who says he doesn't want to play? Putting him in the playoff series after recovering is a bad idea - he could do more bad than good if he's not mentally prepared. It's much better for Rose and the Bulls for him to not return during the playoffs, where every players performance is extremely important.

lulz he was cleared like 2 months before the playoffs. think Jordan would miss a playoff series after getting cleared by the doctors? the same Jordan who played with flu?. things bout winning championship when you're the top dog of your team is all about how bad you want it. Rose is the kind of player who give up and say ill try next year. i dont see that guy ever winning as a top dog. look at Kobe lol, if he could he would play with his injury. i bet ya kobe will comeback as soon as he get cleared

Rose come, do the warm up with his team, then sit on the bench and watch them play, struggling. what kind of bs is that, even playing 10mn coming off the bench would've helped. kid didnt even try

WTF, how is an ACL tear comparable to the flu? But I agree with most of your point. Rose has always been of questionable character IMO.

Alex Len goes 5th to the Suns. Just goes to show you that even a lottery pick doesn't mean jack shit. That kid should have stayed at UMD, where he would have only had been THAT much more dominant and earned more money. But these kids stop going to school halfway through the year, removing the choice for themselves. Morons.

I know that, but they were entering the playoffs. It's not as simple as getting back once you've recovered, because without that mentality your team won't do as well. Didn't the Bulls last as long because the Bulls put even more effort to win? Playing with the flu isn't as hard as playing after the torn ACL. I'm sure Rose would even play through the flu.

I hope so. Kobe was so boss and awesome.

How would it have helped? What if he didn't feel ready and made mistakes? I don't like the fact that he sat out the games, but we don't know why he chose to.

lol i didnt compare ACL and flu, i compared D Rose cleaned to play ( meaning no ACL, nada, niet, just mental issue) refusing to play and MJ wanting to play no matter what despite a flu. I wanted to compare the mentality between a top dog champion and that guy, not the injury. thats why i also mentioned Kobe. And playing 10mn would have helped, he's still better than the regular bulls bench players and its not like he forgot how to play basket. he had time before the playoffs start but didnt even try.

Forget about Rose. Let's just wait and see how he'll do next season.

Lots of thing happened today (last night), I see. First was Cavs picking someone that should not have been, then the Boston-Brooklyn blockbuster trade and Nerlens Noel (anticipated to be no.1 pick but fell on no.6) plus some next year's pick got traded for Jrue Holiday.

Nets should really make the most out of this, at least reach Conference Finals next season or it'll be all for naught. It's not like KGand Pierce are still in their 20's or early 30's and both definitely are past their primes. On the other hand, I smell Boston tanking next season for the sweepstakes. I don't see Rondo carrying this team for a spot in the playoffs.

And somehow an excellent trade for the Pelicans. Even if Noel managed to slap the faces of every teams who passed on him with how he'll fare in the future (I'm hoping for this mainly as a sign of pity for Philladelpia's Bynum bust trade), it was still imo a great trade for NOLA. They already have a big man in Anthony Davis and Holiday seems to be a good addition to the team.

Who should have been picked number one then? The underweight kid from Kentucky who can't rebound, can't score, blew out his knee, and won't be available until December? Or the 7 footer from Maryland with a broken foot, who never made third team all ACC, and got pushed around by stiffs from Wake, Clemson, and Florida State who never will play in the NBA? I thought Anthony Bennett was a fantastic choice in a draft without a clear superstar. Bennett is a match up nightmare who can shoot, he can score inside, and play either forward position. He's the perfect compliment for Kyrie, Cleveland should be fun to watch. Bennett is not a great defender, but Mike Brown should be able to get something out of him. A much better pick than Nerlens Noel or Alex Len, neither of whom I like.

This draft couldn't have worked out better for the Wizards. I am so ready for Otto Porter. Perfect fit for this team, his game perfectly compliments John Wall and Bradley Beal. Porter gets to play pro ball on his college court.

I'm still not sure how the Pelicans got there hands on Jrue Holiday. Great trade, robbing the Sixers. Didn't like the Nets - Celtics trade. The Nets got older, the Celtics got less talented. At least the Celtics got draft picks back. The Nets should be the most highly paid 5th seed in NBA history.

I don't really have that much of an idea about US college basketball. Nice insights there. But based on mock drafts I read, the top pick rotates only on Noel, McLemore and Porter so yeah that surprised mostly everyone.

If John Wall continues to stay healthy next season, then their playoff spot would be certain.

I think the most reasonable reason for those teams (Sixers and C) to get a chance for the top picks in next year's draft. They're somehow hyping that class with big names like Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker and Julius Randle (doesn't really know much about them but tried to watch mixtapes on Youtube).

The Nets should be the most highly paid 5th seed in NBA history.
I know, right?:derp

People were making comparisons between Len and Dirk, but I don't know, I don't see it.

If he can stay on an NBA roster and really work hard at the game and develop it, he might become a respectable player, but I'm not optimistic.
