If there's something like a post restriction I might be in as well. With work on weekdays and shows on weekends, going through the 12 new pages by the end of the day is what makes it difficult to stay active, since sometimes you only have the one hour of free time that it takes to get through all the spam..

Especially considering the most recent game had 169 goddamn pages........

Logically speaking, it should force people to think before act. The way it is, it's a complete mess when you type a long post, refresh the page and see a dozen of new posts appearing.
A reasonable number should not be that hard to agree on.

Yeah but with the restriction even, that I have in mind at least, it would be still up to 100 posts per person, with 16 person it could go up to 1,600 posts per day- lol. And even then there is no stop to that, as there is no way to completely forbid the player to post more, except hostkilling. I'd rather just give him a penalty vote.

But with this incentive to post less spam - plus shorter day phases, I actually see this being a less spamy game. So give it a shot!

The biggest reason I'm against it is because it (obviously) influences the game. Had I posted less I would had died in day 4 of the last game.

The post restriction really will only apply to the super heavy posters. I'm never going to be affected by it so I don't give a F.

Bullshit. You could have posted way less and survived... A vast number of your posts are extremely short posts. Saying you HAD to post X to survive is false.

Basically what I said about the edit rule heavily influences the number of posts. You make a post and want to add content right after clicking post, and you need to make a whole new post for it. Odds are at least one new post by X player will be in between already, making you post twice when you really were just going to post one in theory. Then there's the "I post > refresh > oh a new post I reply some crap/relevant stuff to it > refresh > repeat". The latter is not really a wrong mentality, but not a formula for success either. It's a spammy mentality. In cases of very high tensity like the Josef vs Hardy case it was justified to some extent, but other than that? Nah. Even in that case you could have posted way less and instead multi-quoted posts to make less posts (that that it really matters as the quantity is the same from a reading perspective).

Ironically you were the main contributor for people "not bothering to read" and thus you having to repeat yourself. You largely have yourself to blame. How do you not see this? People got fed up with how much you and some others posted.

Kinda hard if everything I said had to be repeated. Seriously, it was the damn role, and I repeated everything a lot. In the last days I just quoted myself and everyone was already into what I said, so the posts decreased clearly.

I believe that the only one that complained and read everything was gnut and, ironically, he was the one that believed me the less, lol.
