I'm actually in the same situation, though for different reasons.

It's been such a long time since I didn't have much of an interest in the outcome of a super bowl, but this time I really don't. In the past I've had the Raven's to root against, my beloved Steelers to root for, or the Pat's to root against. And even though I like to root for defense Sherman is trying so hard to be the WWE style foil that it's hard to go with rooting for them. The natural thing is to fall into rooting for Manning, I guess. But he's is like the embodiment of every increasingly pass friendly league that I don't like, so i can't go with that either.

So I'm neutral to the outcome, I guess.

That's not Peyton's fault.

And I don't care if you're a Patriots fan or not, Frosty, I don't see how you can root against Manning. It isn't like Manning has a habit of beating the Patriots or anything...

The last SB I had so little interest in was the Steelers narrowly edging Kurt Warner's Cardinals. It was a good game, but I didn't care about the outcome either way.

That game was interesting because of how badly the Cardinals got bent over and screwed by the referees

Wut...usually it's the other way around. You root for someone to fail, but it doesn't mean you dislike him. So why do you feel this way? Just because of the Brady-Manning rivalry? I don't get it. What is there to dislike? He's never been anything but a model player and handles himself the way most pros should.

So far this is a pretty boring game.

Denver is just no match, in the first half at least. It's looking like this is one of those years were the division title game was Superbowl from a practical standpoint and the actual Superbowl is just an execution. Like those Cowboy years where the Bills kept getting served up like a sacrifice.

Remember that whole thing about the NFL being a passing league and offense overtaking defense? lol. Maybe Peyton will lead one of the all time great comebacks.

What a snoozefest. The haltime show was decent, I guess. The commercials have been equally disappointing, as well.

I was disappointed with the lack of Red Hot time

Wilson makes some nice plays on the drive, culminating with his second TD pass, so 43-8.

When only one or two commercials are good, it doesn't really mean they're not disappointing as whole
