LOL, I might host in a month or so, I just don't see a lot of people interested right now ^^

I edited my post. The reason is obvious, but this assessment is pretty flawed when someone deemed a "good" host fails, and you pass, when only 1.5 points separate you.

The thing is, everyone is supposed to get a perfect score. They already said that I barely passed >_<

I just submitted my answers and I just realized my mistakes that I committed when I take a look at my answers for the 2nd time. Oh shit. Should have used the time limit more wisely. Oh well.

So yeah I think I definitely failed badly.

I like to see if the Licensed Hardy can handle the pressure of hosting a game.

Uh, yeah. I have some issues with this test, to be honest. There was a question or two where the answer isn't obviously known to anyone who hasn't host before. Meaning, it's basically whatever Evil says and then everyone else follows suit. Especially since he's mentored all of the other people who have hosted since him. The procedure isn't clear enough on the forums.

No one technically mentored me. I just asked Evil3ye some questions whenever I'm not sure with something.

I don't know if it's just me, the pressure of hosting is overwhelming. Don't be so overconfident only because you passed the exam. You will know when you formally hosted a game.

Yeah, exactly, that's the thing about it. You can and are supposed to look up a lot of answers here, not just shallow however, but deliever more than the question asks, as there are usually more to that. Then there are questions that are kind of trap, it's the right answer to the question is not really what the question asks for. Some questions of applied theory, and then borderline questions, which have not been really solved here, exactly like you figured. The answers we expect there are based on logical thinking. I faced several times the problems that with addition of new roles some other roles cannot work the same anymore, and it was not really discussed before as inbefore you just don't have the time to check compatibilies with every single role as we have now such a big pool of them. So you are like, wuhh, what am I do now. digital added this new role a while back and I put it in the game, because it sounded cool, but how does it work in connection with the Pirate (random)? So you are like, shit, your game is running, come up with logical solution. That's problem you face a lot actually.

Okay, but any new host can ask for another opinion. And if they can't, they're left up to their own judgment if there is no clear procedure. If it isn't some sort of game-breaking decisions that ruins the game, it's just how it has to be. It's an inexact science. It's happened before with both you and digital. It's fine to have these sort of questions in the test, but I don't know if getting them wrong should be held against whoever takes it in the same way the black and white questions do. We did not evaluate them the same way we did with the right-or-wrong questions, obviously, be sure of that. However, we accepted answers who followed the same thinking procedure as ours. And yes we thought it is a necessity to have people host games after an other who look into the same direction. It is called consistency, and this format was lacking it a while now, sadly.

But you see, this test shall not really determine who is allowed to host and who is not, like we are empowered to forbid someone doing it in first place lol, but to find people who we can almost guarantee will not fail because they lack knowledge of the game, or make questionable decisions of their own. Maybe something other, like Faust said, we cannot stress test the candidates, so maybe Hardy will fail because he slips up in the day when answering questions to someone and screw it this way. *shrug*

In the end of the day, anyone can host, Xadyu, Mido, Sakrua Salju or why don't you do the next game? It's just I would not hold brief for this game, because from what I saw in your test. That's all.

Uh...that's mentoring

Cause we thought he initially only answered half the question and not knowing the other half would have caused a game breaking mistake, however I noticed in another question he did have this knowledge and we were confident he wouldn't make that mistake in the game.
