Volume 10 was released along with the anime. The other volumes didn't have the chance to sell that much. Even so, volume 10 broke Nisekoi's record with large amount.
The test is now, we will see how much the previous volumes sales impacted in a new one sales.

Yes, Kuroko no Basket is the best example. It was always in the bottom before the anime.

I don't really think the previous volumes going to impact on the release of new volume. The about first month of the anime aired is the most hot moment for whether the series going to impact due to the anime or not.

Based on looking at now, I don't really think there really is much impact on Nisekoi. It is possible that volume 11 going to outsell volume 10, but I think that's about it.

They just giving double color pages because its anime is currently airing; I think Nisekoi will not become like Kuroko.

Not at all because Nisekoi is already good in the rankings. Kuroko no Basket jumped from the bottom 5 to the top 5. It's natural to think that it's more impactful.

About sales, it is different genres, we cannot compare, but I think Nisekoi has the power to reach 300k. 250k is right in the corner now.

I'm not sure. I don't think Nisekoi has power to reach 300k; 250k sounds rather more possible.

We will see how the sales will behave. Nisekoi's sales has increased steadily since its debut. It may not reach 300k now, but maybe in the future.

Kuroko's rankings improved after the anime started. Kuroko used to poll in the middle of the magazine, or sometimes lower.

I don't crave high popularity for Nisekoi, just good enough to not put the series in risk. 7th or above is good for me.

Why would it be at risk during this year when its anime is running for half of 2014? Unless the series expands to having wide and broad appeal for both males and females, I think it probably wont be able to maintain and sustain always high rank.

The series will not end within a half of year, stability is necessary to the series goes smoothly. Nisekoi was stable until half of 2013. It can return to its previous stability with the anime, it would be good enough for me.

That's a rather modest goal. Nisekoi 10 already sold 214,988 in three weeks. Reaching 250,000 copies would not require very much of a sales boost. Volume 9 sold 162,544 in the same amount of time. Volume ten came out on January 4, the anime did not start until January 11. It's too soon for the manga to fully benefit from the popularity of the anime. Kuroko's sales did not increase until volume 18 was released in July 2012, three months after the anime debuted. Old volumes did not begin recharting until mid-August 2012. Kuroko sold about the same number of copies per volume when it's anime started.

I dont really understand why a fan would be worried about nisekoi at this point in time or even for any period in 2014. The writer would have to make some pretty critical mistakes for it to somehow be in a risky situation this year and even early next year. Werent people even saying the writer would need to draw chapters for every year their in school and they are only starting the second year now?

Yeah, you're right, but we never know the future, even more when it is Jump. It doesn't change the fact that an improve because of the anime would be good.

I think you should worry about that when Nisekoi actually dropped to bottom 5 for consecutive weeks. Yes, it is in Jump, but Nisekoi currently isn't doing bad to consider to be next cancellation candidate.

We never know the future, but I think it is too early to worry if the series isn't even doing bad.

Haikyuu!! will be the next Kuroko no Basket likely, it has everything to make success. I like Haikyuu!!, too, and I'm hoping for the same thing as you.
