What is the ToC ranking?
ToC stands for Table of Contents. It's found on the last page of every issue of WSJ, but more importantly, the order the series appear in on the ToC is closely related to the popularity of the series. This is determined by polling the readers; there is a polling postcard in every issue of WSJ.

Each week, a certain guy from 2ch writes out TOC for the following week's Jump. TOC order is usually based on polling result of readers, thus you will know how your favorite series are doing based on the order.

Some exceptions etc:
- For the 2nd-8th chapters, TOC is already decided, though it could change depends on readers' ranking.
- The TOC is affected by the popularity of 8 chapter ago.
- Shueisha's aiming their main target as elementary and junior high school students, thus, their votes weigh probably more than others (fangirls).
How can I find out what series runs in WSJ?
Click HERE for a list of all the current series running in WSJ. Each link will lead you to more details about the manga, and where you can find translations for all your favourite series! You can also find past series in WSJ by changing the Status filters on that page.

Really? I was going to give it too Soul Catcher(s) great colors and feels unique. Isobe feels to retro and out there, just unappealing in this contemporary age.
If it weren't the Jump Comics mark, I would think that Isobee is some old book. XD
But, since I don't read it, it is better not questioning.

Shokugeki > Soul Catchers, for me. SC cover has good colors, indeed, but I really like the way that they draw Shokugeki's covers.

So I guess Beelzebub will be completed with 27 volumes? Or maybe they'll try and force-fit the remaining chapters in the 26th volume?
That's a pretty decent run.

Nah, I think Beelzebub most likely going to end on volume 27.

Doesn't really matter if it will fit the volume or not. For example, NuraMago's last volume looked as if it would be more than half-empty, but the author filled it with a bunch of omakes. I take it others would do the same if they got extra space.

I... I think you're mixing up 'retro', with 'is drawn in a historic art style'. Kinda hard to call whether that is unappealing in a 'contemporary age' when it's not even slightly the sort of thing you'd find in a comic book.

Isobe Isobee is the most original piece in the whole magazine since... I don't know, Assassination Classroom? Since much, much earlier? Forever?

So I can't help but wonder if the editorial expects it to break out of the usual manga reader audience and get popular with a broader crowd. Honestly, that would be awesome.

I wouldn't really say "original" yet (I haven't really done the research to find other manga in the ukiyo-e style in the modern age)... but that's a whole different kettle of fish. It's certainly a strange one, considering that it seems to be doing well in some manner.

Even I'd hesitate to say original, for the same reasons as [Cross], but it's totally the freshest title to be serialised in the anthology in years, artistically speaking. Which sounds weird when you consider it's an ancient style, but still, it holds true. One only hopes that the first volume sells well (by the standards of gag manga, natch)

I don't know what kind of topics Isobee covers, but I think its cool its drawn in ukiyo-e style of block printing. It's like going back to the very roots of manga. Ukiyo-e prints were often gag-like as well, though popular ones were subjugated to censorship after a while due to their tabloid-like quality. And then it also contributed to the birth of fandom and doujinshi when kabuki became popular.

Im still using the Haikyuu!! One from a few months ago on my work pc, may switch to that world trigger one. Was one of the better colour pages, am curious how the colour page will look in the upcoming issue.

I can't entirely tell if I am right, but it looks like for 10th anniversary Jump fans can vote for a Gintama character they would like to appear on the cover in April.

Yeah, that's mentioned in the newest chapter. It's a special sort of character poll.

My money is on Yamazaki.

I was going to ask where the link was, but it looks like you have to give your vote along with the postcard you usually submit to Jump. I wonder who would make the list? Probably Okita, I remember him being awfully popular.

Yamazaki! Sorachi mentioned at one point he isn't planning to have Yamazaki on the cover so I'm also thinking he'll win. It's the only way he can appear on it.
