Did he get the cover last time? I have a certain idea he didn't.

It's not going to be delayed since the return chapter will debut next week. It's obvious Togashi already has at least several chapters already ready for serialization or else he wouldn't be coming back.
Togashi either didn't want to draw a cover (which is the most likely answer), or that Jump didn't offer him a return cover (which would be incredibly odd).

He got the cover for the first of the two Kurapika chapters, and I'm pretty sure he got the chapter on his most recent official return as well.

He got a Cover and a front color when the new anime was announced even though the reserialization chapter only got the center color.

Toriko took a huge tumble while world trigger cannibalized it fully taking advantage of the situation.

Naruto not in five is surprising for this has been the best 50+ stretch of naruto chps since gaara retrival and sasuke retrival arcs.

Naruto and Toriko positions make it an uncommon TOC.
Glad that Shokugeki is leading and Nisekoi is on its common position.

I expected more from HxH return, but maybe either the editors are tired as well, or Togashi doesn't give up of his nature.

Shokugeki no Souma in first place, Ansatsu out of top 3, Naruto out of top 5 and Toriko basically in bottom 5 if you not count Kochikame, this is a strange toc

What amazes me more is Toriko because it has been very good IMO, lately. Well it should rise again next week.

The comments this week include some pretty interesting/funny things and I want to share them with you
Kawada is a big sumo fan (you don't say...)
It would seem that Soma's chapter has a Jojo reference which was Tsukuda's idea, Saeki even apologized to Araki
Oda apparently now sometimes adds "-sourou" to samurai's lines and blames Nakama for this
Nakama's answer to that was "O-Oda Eichirou..."
Asou apologizes for writing the chapter published on this issue for such an important number (it's chapter 100)
The 5 finalists for WT's MAD contest apparently made a collaboration video (that might be worth checking actually...)

Btw, for those wondering what the "official" reasons for the color pages of next week's issue are:
Toriko: For the 6-year Anniversary, the release of volume 30, and the launch of a fanbook
HxH: For coming back
Hinomaru: For being the 2nd chapter
WT: For the "huge" announcement and the release of volume 6

Toriko has being quite bad lately, so it's not a surprise. With the end of the anime this kind of trend isn't unusual either.

Its not a Facebook page. Its because FanBook out june 4 with volume 30.

Toriko yoyo-ing around the TOC isn't really a new phenomenon plus the series with CPs usually rank relatively low making it seem worse than it is. It definitely went lower than 10th place earlier this year whilst the anime was still airing.
