I'm picking a draw between Italy and England. I know that we've yet to have a draw and this doesn't seem like a year where we'll have draws, but I'm seeing a 1-1 or 2-2 draw.

Overall,

Colombia vs Greece
Uruguay vs Costa Rica
England vs (draw) Italy
Ivory Coast vs (draw) Japan

Oh, right...My other prediction is that Del Bosque doesn't have the balls to drop Casillas.

If Del Bosque doesn't have the balls, Casillas has even less because all of them went into the goal. Really, test a new goalkeeper would be reasonable.
Not only this, Spain has to rethink their way of playing after two defeats by 3-0 and 5-1 from two big teams.

"Test" a new goalie... Yeah right, during a tourney XD Because it's only been the goalies fault all five times and the team in front of him played like the world champions they are.
In the end, it depends on the alternatives Del Bosque has though. The only one with a little experience seems to be Reina. Regardless of that, replacing the captain will surely change the team, for better or for worse.

Reina is shit, if anything he should put de Gea in the net, but I doubt he'll replace Casillas.

Del Bosque has always been someone who holds on to players that proved themselves in the past, that was already the case back in 2004-05 in Besiktas where he refused to exchange players whose performance decreased significantly over time but had made a name for themselves. I predict it will be the same in this case, even though at least both Casillas and Pque do not deserve to be considered again for this WC after that performance last night, even though both have good replacements. Busquets was also a ghost yesterday but will probably stay in the team as well. I would really like to see Koke in the starting eleven but i doubt that will happen.

Okay then. I hope they lose to Chile, that way they will have 4 years to decide Casillas fate. I think it's time enough. :XD

I genuinely doubt that Casillas would still be the keeper for the nezt WC. If he cleans up his act in the league maybe EC.

And Greece already the slapstick team of the day... Well like that Spain isn't alone anymore.

Even if casillas didn t deserve to be in the goal, he doesn t deserve to end his national career on such a blunder. It s too late to remove him.

Of course that´s a good enough reason for the national team to fail, so that Casillas can have a worthy career ending

He is a bit too young to end his career though.

More disputed than I thought, Greece played better than Columbia in this first time despite the score. There is a lack of talent from Greece though... :hmm

On the issue of Spain, I can only repeat myself. The goalie isn't the sole reason for the failure, even though he made mistakes. They shouldn't wear white anymore though /superstition

Wait a few days until it's your turn xP

Seeing Colombia - Greece, the results in this worldcup so far are mostly way off of the actual gameplay. Was that always the case?

Yes, that's why I said an renovation is needed.

Columbia had a smooth victory against Greece although the Greeks attacked more than I expected from a defensive team; they weren't dangerous though.

Yes, Pique, Ramos, Busquets, Iniesta, and Xavi were all horrible. It wasn't just Casillas. However, Casillas got caught in no man's land for no reason just like in the CL Final against Atletico, as well as gifting RVP his second goal. Casillas didn't cover himself in glory on any of the five goals, but he wasn't completely responsible. However, he was awful, you can't deny that.

Casillas is the easiest cog to replace, however. Some of the players who ostensibly should be starting in the WC aren't even in the squad because of Del Bosque and politics, so...
