No, you didn't see Spain vs Italy in the Confed Cup last summer. Casillas and Buffon provided the worst performances I've ever seen by keepers in shootouts. Half the penalties, they just stood there dumbfounded and didn't even move for penalties.

He burned his last sub on Huntelaar. Anyway, if LVG really wanted Krul available in case of penalties, you can't save a sub for him, you need to just start him.

I wonder how some can even claim Germany won against a great team of Brazil. Brazil has at the time the worst team they ever produced the last 30 years or so. Germany won against a weak Brazil and maybe the worst Brazil of all time.

Argentina never did great against Germany so lets see if it ill go the other way this time.

Argrntina can become the most boring team to win a wc just by being tactically in place.
But playing like that with the offensive talent available ... for me, they are killing football as a spectacle.

Eh no they only came this far cause the whole Wc teams are playing bad. I mean for me this is the worst WC I witnessed in every sense. Most of the teams are playing bad and when I say bad I mean really bad.

And like I said in my previous posts Argentina is missing a playmaker someone who designes the play with his passes and pace. And surely meesi is not a playmaker.

Well I see Messi more similair to Ronaldo(Brazil) than to a real number 10 such as Zidane,Pirlo,Totti,Xavi, Iniesta and so on. Messi for me is the best when he attacks from the wings with his speed and dribbling so a wing striker more than a playmaker.

The Argentinian interrupting the keeper and using his hand/arm from what I remember going completely unpunished seemed really weird. But well, in the end he didn't decide the match and the one team was as good as the other.

Agüero, it was a yellow card yeah. The ref also missed some yellow cards for the Netherlands tho... as expected.
