1. Patient punch
Category: Emission? (slightly unsure where this would fit)
User hits the opponent or object. The object or recipient will be unaffected; they cannot receive any damage or feel anything from it. I think it's best represented using values like hakoware. So if the punch was delivered and was at a value of 50, every minute the value will double until the user decides for the punch to arrive. If however the value of the punch reaches an amount of nen that the user cannot actually deliver, the damage is then directed at the user. This can me used in a close range and mixed with regular punches to confuse the opponent (with short delays or something just to throw them off) or as a hit and run technique where the user runs away until he attack is strong enough to beat them in one blow. Since the hit can only be perceived by sight (they don't feel it or receive damage. The punch hasn't technically "landed"), it would be a great stealth attack. If the user isn't seen delivering the blow or even if the blow was initially weak, disguised as something else like a friendly pat on the back or something, then it's a stealthy time bomb really since its power grows over time.
1.5 (continuation from above) Keen Punch
This is the opposite of the above and counts as a Nen loan. The user doesn't have to wait and can deliver any value of attack immediately BUT the user is restricted to zetsu for the double the amount of minutes of which he would have had to have waited if the punch delivered was a value of 1 but in days instead ( so normally, if he delivered a 10 value punch and waited for 10 minutes it would be 5120 (don't check my maths). If he used Keen punch, he would be using zetsu for just over 26 days.(don't check my maths)). Not only that but the user also pays by shortening his lifespan by the same amount of days (if you think this is too lenient, i'm open to suggestion).

2.Nensmith
Category: Specialist
The user can make weapons based on Nen abilities of other users. The user uses a 'clients' nen and his own to create a random weapon which uses an 'extension' of the clients ability and complements it. The user cannot make a weapon for himself. Weapons created by him cannot be used against him. One can be made per client. The weapons may be a 'living' thing which is animated by the wielder's nen. Every now and then there can be duds which have useless or detrimental abilities. To use the weapon the user must pour his aura into it. The weapon uses requires a lot of nen to use: 10% of wielder's maximum aura capacity is drained every 10 mins. An example of what I mean by extension is say if a weapon were made for Killua, it could be something like a lightning rod that attracts electric currents and can direct them around (natural ones and his own). Or say if Gon received a weapon it could be an item which performs jajaken at the same time as him and creates a compound attack like paperrock (an emitted version of rock with the same power). Though the best part of the ability is that weapons can be exchanged between clients. There will be some weapons which aren't too specific...something simple like a flame sword or something which might be useful for a nen user who doesn't specialize in combat or something. The user cannot make weapons for himself but he can use weapons he has made but he cannot seek them, he must acquire them by chance OR the original client must have died. (So he can't make a weapon and then find the owner and buy it off him or make a weapon having made a deal with the client before hand for the client to give it to him or something. The weapons are not made with the creators use in mind.) If the user does come across a weapon though he has special privileges when it comes to it's use. It only uses 1% of his maximum nen capacity every 10 minutes rather than the usual 10% every 10 minutes. If the client whose nen was used to make a weapon dies and has particularly strong nen then nen weapon can change and become stronger but then they drain more nen (like a cursed weapon).
I'm open to suggestions if you have any. If anything is unclear, let me know.
For the nensmith, I would just wait until the weapon I want and then kill the customer upon conjuring the weapon.

Name: Texture Mimic
Type: Conjuration

Activate to conjure a pair of gloves and a pair of boots. The gloves are very thin, and is resembled to the kind of rubber glove people use to wash dishes; The boots look like the ones worn by fishermen. The user can pick one of the "texture" from "domain" for the boots and gloves independently. When a "texture" is chosen, only the exterior of the gloves or boots will have the property of the "texture", while the physical constructions are untouched.

To add a new "texture" to a "domain", I need to physically use my bare hands to touch the desire "texture" represent in real life. For example, if I want the wall-climbing property texture, I can need to touch a geico's foot. The use of this ability is mainly not for combat purpose, but rather the convenience and things normal people can't do that it provides. So far the "textures" that I want are jellyfish's tentacles, water walking, diamond's strong atomic structure, silicon's impact absorbing, hot metal's hot exterior, and mercury's heaviness.

Shinseina Inori (Sacred Prayer)

Type: Reinforcement

Objective and Use: Shinseina Inori allows me to reinforce the inherent properties of objects. For example a swords sharpness, durability and even its ability to reflect light is enhanced. I am also able to increase my body's strength and resultants as well with this technique.

Conditions:
1st: I must complete the Shinseina Inori ritual; this involves me incasing the object in Shu and reciting ( Ha-Do-kno-En-Se-Yu-Kiy ).

2nd: To enhance my own body's function I must remain stationary and recite ( Ha-Do-kno-En-Se-Yu-Kiy-set-la)

Limitations on Objects:

1) I cannot enhance the properties an object does not have or properties that are inherently restricted by the objects form. ( ex. The length of a sword or wire can't be enhanced)
2) I can only enhance an objects properties 100% over its normal value; each time I recite my ritual the percentage of enhancement goes up by 1.
3) The enhancement of an object only last 10 minutes and the countdown starts at the beginning of the ritual. After the time limit the same object cannot be used again for 3 hours.
4) The enhancement can be made permanent by smearing my blood in a cross pattern on the object and recite the ritual phrase 200x's. This is called binding.
5) I can only bind up to 6 objects and to bind another object after this limit require I unbind an already bound item.
6) The effects of the ritual is only in effect when the object is surrounded by my aura; otherwise it returns to its original state.

On the Body:

1) I cannot move when preforming the Shinseina Inori ritual on my own body, but I am able to still use nen.
2) During the ritual I can enhance the strength of any particular part of my body up to 30% or enhance my entire body up to 15% its normal strength. (internal and external uses)
3) I can enhance different parts of my body physical attributes by 80% by applying a cross written in my blood on the desired body part. I can also enhance my entire body's physical attributes by 100% by apply a blood written cross to my forehead.
4) Each time the ritual phrase is said (during the ritual) equals 1 minute worth of enhanced effect.
5) After using the Shinseina Inori my body or body parts will experience extreme fatigue and pain for half the time I was in the enhanced state. Using the blood cross Shinseina Inori will disable the body parts enhanced and or should it be used on the entire body I will be unconscious for the same amount of time of the enhanced state.
6) I cannot use Shinseina Inori both on the body and objects at the same time.
7) I can only enhance 4 body parts at any given time.

Examples:

Sword: enhanced sharpness and durability allows for increased cutting potential (max enhancement allows the sword to even cut nen or a building in half)

Stun Gloves (w) metal knuckles: enhanced shocking capabilities and striking strength. Max enhancement allows gloves to shot electricity up to 6 meters and allow the knuckles to increase in weight.

Personal Motorized Fan: Enhanced motor output and fan blade sharpness and durability. Max enhancement allows the fan blades to be used as a circular saw and motor to output enough power to create a mini directed cyclone.

Body's liver: enhancing liver function to filter out poisons and foreign material.

Nice technique, but I think it would involve Transmutation for those textures.

Nen type : materialization
Name of Hatsu : Devil's Hand (Akuma no te)
Let me explain something first, this is not a nen boost ability or conjuring any kind of weapon. A human body is devided by me to 10 "parts", the head&neck the two of them are considered as the "critical part". If I encounter a new specie I must think of dividing it's body to ten parts which one of them is the critical one. (the division of a specie to 10 parts cannot be changed and the critical part must include the sight and the hearing parts if the creature have them).
  • Devil's hand cannot be used on the critical part.
  • Devil's hand is used when my aura makes contact with the opponent's aura and thus the part touched becomes rock and freezed [not using my nen but the opponent's nen makes the part becomes rock (this is important)]
  • Once the part is materialized to rock it can't be destroyed no matter the attack but the nen on that part is sealed.
  • Once Devil's hand is used on a part, it must be used on another in the next 5 minutes or the ability will fail and the part(s) will come back to normal unless there's no part else .
  • If Devil's hand fails it cannot be re-used on the same opponent until it is used on another one.
  • Devil's hand cannot be used on more than 2 opponents at the same time.
  • Even if vital organs become rock the opponent remains alive.
  • Devil's hand is only used with right hand unless it's destroyed.

Nen type : materialization
Name of ability : Death wish (shi no ganbo).
  • Death wish cannot be used unless Devil's hand has been used on all the 9 parts.
  • Death wish is used on the "critical part" as a completion of Devil's hand and so the last part becomes rock too and feezed but:
  • This time the whole body becomes destructible.
  • The effect is permanent.
  • The opponent is still conscious but freezed and deprived of all his senses.
  • Death wish is used with same hand of Devil's hand.
  • Death wish must be used maximum 5 minutes after the complete use of Devil's hand, If not, Devil's hand fails.
  • Death wish can be canceled any time by placing the hand which is not using Devil's hand, and the previous deadline is prolonged by another 5 minutes so eatch time Death wish is canceled the deadline gets another 5 minutes.
  • Death wish is used with my aura with an amount that depends on the opponent's aura capacity(cf knuckle's aura evaluation with numbers) in a way the more he has aura the more aura must be used.
  • If Death wish has been used and a part containing a vital organ is destroyed the target is considered as dead and he is nothing but than mere rock and I retrieve my aura.

Boring.

Hatsu: Manipulation
Ability: Cutting-Edge
Description: Replace the space of a certain place.
Conditions:
The user can use the ability anytime.
Has a limit of 16 different spots chosen before to change the surrounded space.
Takes one second to chose a place, its chose by looking the geometrical dimensions of that space and replace for other of the 15 spots. The oldest spot is deleted and can be used again if the user sees again.
If he wants change an object to a space, it would take 4 second to be replaced. While are fulfilling this 4 seconds, its going to create an empty space that will be under vacuum forces and will be a expansive wave after the object is replaced, the magnitude of the wave goes according at the object's lenght.
If he changes parts of a object or space in a geometrical proportion, will take only 1 second.

Pros: The user can amplify his vision range with mirrows or lenses.
Cons: Got blind, no more cutting edge :gwah

Self-imposed vows: He will give his hairs of an area of his body to be able to see through different kind of visions like nocturnal, termal, etc.

How you conceive your ability?
Thinking of how amazing would be going to other planets without the proper equipment, who cares about Nen fights! Hijacking Hubble telescope and i'm Cobra, bitches :mono

Well, the enchantments so to speak would probably work the same way as when gon charges his rock. Gon gets a small power boost for it. I don't think enhancing the length of something was an option to begin with. It does not work as a condition if it cannot be done to begin with. Not sure if the second bit is practical.... In enhancement you usually enhance things to the extent your nen allows it. Basically it is a combination of what you enhance along with the nen behind it, kinda like how the power of ko is determined by the amount of nen in it and the physical strength of the user. The way your ability works would seem to make you weaker than you would be otherwise. The time limit is good although perhaps 10 minutes is too flexible. Unless you only have 1 weapon although that would also be dangerous to some extent. I am not sure an enhancement can be made permanent... That means that the nen you stick to something attaches permanently which should be hard to do. And even if you do it it is not necessarily a good thing considering it could hamper your defense.

I am under the impression that the difference between using and not using nen is well over the 100%... in that regard enhancing your own body with such a limit would actually make you weaker.

Ability: Chessmaster
Nen type: Conjuration

Description: The ability is a bit similar to cheeto's, it starts by conjuring a different space. The floor of the room is basically a chessboard. Each square in the chessboard in a dimension in itself so it is impossible to physical break it. Both players start the game on two separate dimensions on top of the chessboard but they can see and hear each other.

1.- At the start of the game you have to choose to be a chess piece, this is the reason the pieces do not start in the board. You can choose any chess piece you want and once you do you have to fulfill its function to the letter. Once you take the place of a chess piece leaving its square is as impossible as leaving the dimension, you can only move the way the rules of chess allow you to. You play solely by the rules of that piece. You can't change which piece you are.

2.- Each piece, being alive has its own properties so to speak. They all have varying strengths corresponding to their importance in the game. They are all still pretty powerful though. Peons are physically the weakest. Horses are fast but relatively weak. Queens are physically the most powerful ones in every regard. Rooks are almost as strong as queens and very resistant to damage. Bishops have good balance when it comes to their powers but not quite as good as others. The king can't be killed, only checkmated. If the king attacks it is as powerful as the queen. Each piece also has its own personality which matches its function. Which means each and every piece is unbelievably annoying. The peons are meek, servile, somewhat cowardly, and kinda dumb. Knights are proud warriors who only incoherently babble about honor and glory in battle, chivalry and saving princesses (which you as the owner do not understand because there is no princess piece and you never introduced them to the concept). The rooks are huge and stupid golems who speak like the hulk. The bishop is extremely critical of everything you do and will judge incessantly. His advice however will never be intentionally useful. He is not trying to hurt you though, he just does not know better. The queen and king are as buff as they are strong but they are also incredibly pompous and offended at the fact that they have to take orders from you, a commoner. They will all do as told though.

3.- You are connected to every piece via the chessboard. You do not directly control them but the connection is important. The pieces can suck up and absorb your nen you allow them to and make it their own (that way there aren't any emission limitations) which they can use to become stronger. You can tell the pieces where to go but it is impossible for them to move through a path which chess rules do not allow. Of course, it is possible to attack a piece and yet loose.

4.- Once the game starts you can only leave the dimension by beating the other player at chess. Only the winner gets to leave. The looser has to stay in the dimension until the winner says "GET OUT YOU LOOSER". At that point the looser will appear next to the winner. If the owner of the ability dies from non chess reasons it is impossible to leave the dimension.

5.- You can win the game one out of two ways. You can win by checkmate or you can kill the piece your opponent choose. If you choose to be the king then you can only be checkmated. Once you are checkmated the conditions in rule 4 apply, the looser can only escape if the condition is met. Which means you have to stay in the dimension with the chess pieces alone.

Now, when it comes to hatsu there are usually a few things that happen without you planning for them. Intricacies which are at large unpredictable. This is one I thought of:

1.- If you pick to be a non king piece the nen you give to the pieces through the game will be stronger for either player. It is a result of the extra danger you are taking.

Hum, I like it. Although entering that space should be not be automatic. Cheetu ability started when He touched them if I recall correctly. How it would start yours?

Still, is lovely. Kinda No Game No Life-esque.

Good point... Know's ability also works by touching a spot and turning it into a door so with that in mind I guess the best way would be something similar, touching an enemy and being teleported into the space. Maybe a challenge thing would work too, as in getting the enemy to accept a fight being enough. Although perhaps the touching part is easier.

Perhaps a fun alternative to this would be more than two players. So there are several people taking over several pieces (with the actual pieces being incredibly annoyed at how they did not get to participate). With how the ability works even nen sharing would be a real possibility between multiple players.

Considering that you'll restrict moves, I believe that the actual accepting of the challenge is more efficient.

And they could be people you know :O They wont get any damage from the play, but it would be cool :O

Yeah but... why would a nen user accept the challenge? Experienced nen users would know better than that. I guess how convenient either one is depends on how strong the enemy is. A challenge acceptance is probably the better alternative if the enemy is the type that is normally hard to touch....

The point is that they do get damage from the play. One of the finer points of the ability is that you are not guaranteed a win when it comes to attacking enemy pieces. That is why the pieces are able to take nen from you to add to their strength. You can be attacked but if you give your piece enough nen it just might resist the attack. Or you could attack and loose because you didn't give the piece enough nen. When you are the one that attacks you would have better offs because you get the first move but there is still an element of randomness which has to be taken in consideration for the strategy. The only way to guarantee a win between pieces would be to give it enough nen to overpower the other piece.

And then comes in the value of not being the king. Being the king gives you the benefit of not risking dying in the game but it also means for the most part your skills will be of no consequence in the fight. In turn taking a different piece has the benefit of allowing you to use your own skills when fighting other pieces. Its almost guaranteed that you will will a fight against a piece. You can become a peon and turn a relatively useless piece into an useful one... But then you risk being easily nullified by reaching a point where you can't keep moving forward. Or you can take a rook or the queen and become extremely mobile and take a particular strong offense. And then you have to consider whether you can take so much continuous fighting. Even if you can you risk getting checkmated even if you are basically mowing through enemy pieces. I made the ability thinking it could get extremely complicated depending on how familiar you are with the game and how powerful you are.

And then you add the possibility of more than 2 players. Only one can take the position of king so at least one person will be at real risk of dying in any scenario.

In that case, make it start in two ways:

1. Either after the enemy attacked you.
2. By accepting.

If not it could work as a surprise attack and it would be way too OP. Well, IMHO.

I'd try to develop a healing type ability, similar to Bisuke's Piano Massage, something to cure my fatigue and get more hours out of the day (didn't 30 min of massage from Cookie-chan equate to like 8 hours sleep?)

I am not sure the ability can really be OP... Well, there are too many scenarios in which the ability can horribly backfire. Going up against someone with superior nen abilities or chess skills can be quite bad. It ultimately comes down to a game which I hope can get extremely complicated. I like the idea of the enemy attacking you causing the activation although that seems to easy. It seems more fair the other way around, by actually touching the enemy.

Well, a proper healing ability would be reinforcement. Bisk does not quite have a healing ability, more like the transmutes her nen into oils or whatnot which have a recuperating ability. What we saw so far is gon and killua getting rested from their fatigue pretty fast, not healing per say. Definitely her ability is the most useful around. Stress, fatigue... its all a thing of the past. Probably the only ability in the series that has actual real world applications. Well, leorio's seems to be useful too although a little too specific. I wonder if leorio's ability has an enhancement element to it that would allow him to also heal his target.

I think you need to add some conditions to the nen eraser. Even if the amount of eraser you would need to erase nen varies it is still a pretty complicated ability. Keep in mind that the only succesful nen erasing we have seen so far comes from a specialization user... Conjured items in particular just don't work on stuff, you need meaningful pledges to make them viablej. Take kurapica, without his pledges and whatnot his chains are just chains....
Greed island black guy is a nen eraser and his power is conjuration I believe (he conjures a nature spirit beast thing that eats nen), so its not only spec ppl that can erase nen. Also, Hina, the female chimera ant in leol's squadron could remove nen, idk if her ability was spec or not

Kuripica's chains are still pretty impressive w/o his pledges. Take the curing and dowsing chain (Both of which are independent of his pledge to only use on the genrei ryodan). Curing chain can recover broken body parts pretty quickly and the dowsing chain figured out most of Beyond's and the prince's men in the hunter exam,
as well as who the spy in the zodiac is.
The point of kuripikas pledge is to ensure that anyone in the ryodan is unable to break his binding chain (uvo's massive strength couldnt break it) and must follow his orders with the judgement sword chain (at risk of death).

A pledge for the eraser is that it cannot erase materialized nen and that there is a dynamic cooldown for the ability

Also

Hatsu: Time Capsule
Nen: Materialization
description: Materialize a semi-transparent hollow sphere around someone, then that person inside can specify a time and that capsule will remain unchanged in time for that amount of time (like the capsule in futurama). The person can say zero to cancel the capsule. While the capsule is in effect, it can be moved and stuff, but it cant be broken
I just want this power cuz theres days i just want to skip, so i could lol
It's not a battle thing, cuz it cant be forced onto people, its activated by the person its used on

Hatsu: Elemental Alchemy Cannon
Nen: Materialization
description: The user places both his hands on elements and then places hands together like netero's stance, then by spreading the user's hands out a bullet of that element will by materialized. Then this bullet can be thrown like a cannonball. The materialized bullet will dematerialize after 5 seconds
Now let me explain the element part: so if you put on hand on a rock and another on fire and then summon, you'll get a lava bullet. If you do 2 hands on the same element youll get that element
air + earth = sandstorm bullet
water + fire = hot steam bullet
earth + water = mud/wet clay bullet
These are just some of the classic 4 element combos, if things like electricity, metal, or wood are held, they will also work and they can make combos
Then 2 different shots can be lined up to make more combos
air and lightning to create a static charge bullet, and then a dbl lightning bullet will be attracted to the charge, or a wet clay bullet and dbl fire bullet to harden it
I like this power, and it might be a little overpowered, but its power is really based on the physical power of how hard the bullet can be thrown
probably could use another condition tho

Abengane was a specialist though. The manga explained that bit a while back IIRC. And even then he had to go through quite the ordeal to remove a nen. For a non specialist the requirements would be presumably greater. He actually had that monster stuck to him until the condition to remove the nen was fulfilled. Nen erasers work by taking an imposed nen onto themselves, it is quite a risky move. And perhaps even figuring out a proper mechanism to pull that off would be risky.

Materialized nen is not nen per say, I doubt a conjured item would fall into the category of things which need removing. I would think the issue would be other schools, specially emission since it is the one that allows you to maintain the strength of nen over distances and time.

Well, the healing chain does require kurapica's specialization ability to get 100% reinforcement. That point was made when he fought uvo,

Elemental Alchemy Cannon sounds like the ability I came up with a year ago.

Was trying to mix common things that wouldn't seem very useful by itself to create a hatsu, and so here is what I came up with.

Hatsu: Delayed 5 Senses
Type: Emission

Once activated, there will be a field of aura emitted from the user compassing 150m radius (Though the user can increase the range through the standard nen limiting vows) . The user can then perform actions to the enemy within the perimeter of the aura that will have a 3s delaying effect( based on the 5 categories mentioned below) .

1)Delayed Sight

As long as the enemy is within Delayed 5 Senses aura range, the user can choose to delay certain actions for 3s.

Limitations: To prevent it from being too OP, this delayed sight can only be applied on items/actions without nen. For example if the user uses a nen punch on the ground, the user cannot delay the enemy from seeing the punch, but can delay the enemy from seeing the rocks that are being smashed by the punch.

2)Delayed Touch
When the user touch the enemy, that spot will be a homing target to whatever the user does after a 3s delay. As long as the enemy is within Delayed 5 Senses aura range, this effect will take place. E.g. After touching the enemy’s right ear, the user can do many rapid punches in the air. The nen punches will stay in the air for 3s before congregating to 1 single aura and flying to hit the enemy’s right ear.

Limitations:
The user cannot plant more than 1 target on the enemy. The user can only do ‘1 batch’ of actions with this Delayed Touch effect; 1 batch meaning the series of actions must be done back to back without any stoppage.

3)Delayed Smell

As long as the enemy is within Delayed 5 Senses aura range, the user can choose to delay the smell of his/her actions for 3s. E.g. Against an chimaera ant with sensitive nose, the user can use this to fool the enemy.

Though I think this ability is not suited for combat, it could be used if the user is a beast hunter, and wants to approach an extremely rare animal with a keen sense of smell.

4)Delayed Taste
As long as the enemy is within Delayed 5 Senses aura range, the user can choose to delay the enemy’s taste bud’s senses by 3s.

5)Delayed Hearing
As long as the enemy is within Delayed 5 Senses aura range, the user can choose to delay the enemy’s hearing by 3s.

Basically the user has to mix and match the 5 different abilities so as to confuse the enemy. For example, the user can use a common poison and by using Delayed Sight,Delayed Taste and Delayed Smell to confuse the enemy about the poison . At the same using Delayed Touch and Delayed Hearing punches to strike the foe.

Initially I was thinking of having more interesting abilities for Delayed Taste and Hearing, but I figured it would be too hax to have so many complex abilities for a hatsu.

Hatsu: Heaven's Box

Nen type: Specialization

Description: Materialize a small box with a key to open it, the box allows you conserve 15 Heaven Candies. If you hold the key to the box materialized, you are able to create your own Heaven Candies!!

What's a Heaven Candy?
It's a 3 cm white ball flavored in your favorite tastes. Those tastes are four and each one means something:
  • [*] Banana: Physics
    [*] Vanilla: Aura
    [*] Lemon: Knowledge
    [*] Hazelnut: Nature

If you eat it, you gain the gift that it's inside of them.

How are Heaven Candies made?
Easy, the user has to materialize the Heaven Box's key and kill a life being with one strike, the only condition is that while preparing this kind of strike, the user has to say: Arrivederci Amore and after it gets killed, the most prominent skill of that being will transform into a flavored candy.

Warning: Heaven Candies are dissolved if they aren't put into the box within one minute!

After getting the candy, you materialize the box and you put it in and save! If you materialize the box, all the candies inside will stay there.

What happens when i eat the candy?
You obtain the best skills that you opponent had. Also has the particularity that it plus your own skill on that area.

Examples:
-After eating a Banana Candy, you may get all the physics condition of the being that you've killed, some of them are: Endurance, Strenght, Resistance, Stretchiness, Plasticity and even have the same inner-body process.
-Vanilla Candy: You may plus the aura quantity to your own and use the Hatsu/s of your victim, the conditions of it you have to figure them by yourself.
-Lemon Candy: Consider yourself with two brains working at 100%.
-Hazelnut Candy: The most special of all, it plus your life in the one of that being. You become a paradox, you're defying relativity's nature. What happens between you are in that state? Nature decides.

Anyway, you obtain all this skills for only 3 minutes. The situations itself are the gamble in that ability, that's what the user says. Also all the candies are white and there is no place to put a specifical ball in the box.

Final Warning: If you just only taste the flavor and spit the candy because you want other, it will erase. No traps!

Inspired by the legendary D´Arby fight I thought of this.

Hatsu: Nen Chess

Nen type: Transmutation and Conjuration

Description: There are several phases to this ability.

1st phase: Conjure up a square board of 9x9 grids.

2nd phase: Two rulebooks with blank piece section are conjured additionally after the board (one for each player).

3rd phase: The game can be played only by two players who both must know the rules and both must willingly consent to the play.

4th phase: Pieces transmutation: Each player has a mandatory piece called the King. In order to transmute additional pieces into play, the players must touch their respective property and declare: I choose you! (ignore the Pokémon jab) With these words the thing (or, sadly, by implication an organism) transmutes into a chess piece that has properties and movement reflecting the real model. It works automatically and in my opinion is the biggest pull of the game. There can be many other pieces than the ones we know (some might be overpowered but just roll with it). When the piece is transmuted, its description, movement graph, special maneuvers and properties are automatically inscribed into the rulebooks.

5th phase: Piece placement: A player can conjure as many pieces as one can, but aside from the King (which must be placed) a player can place an additional amount of 26 pieces on the first three rows before them. There can be blind placement (meaning you can´t see opponent´s placement before lockdown) or open placement (agreed upon by the players on the spot). Once both players have finished placement of their pieces then comes lockdown and the game begins.

6th phase: Actual gameplay. The goal is to capture the King. If you win, the pieces the winning player captured transform back into things at your chant Revert! (for the conveniency of the winner, I mean suppose you win a house, then you get to move it and place it before transforming it back), the pieces the opposing player captured will return to you. Also if you win, you get to choose to kill your opponent by destroying the King or freeing the opponent by giving up the King. If there is a draw, then both sides get from the match with their lives intact, with the pieces they controlled on the board and the pieces they captured.

Specialities - any piece aside from the King can be promoted provided you have pieces (any piece can be promoted to any available piece).
- if a player forfeits before checked for the first time in the particular match, then he can´t be killed by the winner.

I am open to further questions and suggestions

I had an emission idea similar to Goreinu's ability

Hatsu: stop walk
Nen: emission
Description: Can create nen copies of yourself that dont move from their position (max rate of 1 copy per second). These nen copies take on your shape and position at the time of creation. They last for however long the user remains within range (max range increases with emission training). The maximum number of copies also increases with training. These copies are extremely fragile in that they can be broken (and will breakdown) with even a non-nen reinforced punch. Any amount of damage will breakdown the copy.
Similar to Goreinu's white gorilla's ability, the user can take the place of one of the copies (not trade places, that copy gets used up)
The way it should look is like the ethereal run animation in WoW just that the lagging effect stays in place
This ability would make the user very fast and nimble so decent for combat but great for evading and running away
