= :^) ?Well that's simply because they went through every important opponent/development introduced in Warcraft 3, while barely providing new interesting stuff. Can't really be helped, their own fault. Sure it's not as amazing as back then with vanilla WoW, but still high quality. Bringing it to another level would make it look almost real, something hardly possible nowadays, if not impossible, maybe.uh, I mean it looked fine, not as "WOW AMAZE" as I normally find Blizzard cinematics tbh. I guess their cinematic tech looked more impressive before, but now they're not really ahead anymore in that department. Looked so "plastic", the orcs' skin I mean. But it looked fine really. It's more about the content. Not sure what I expected. The panda trailer obviously sucked, but was amazing fighting so was OK. But the other trailers were SO GODLY come on. Vanilla trailer was so freaking hype and godly art at that time. Burning Crusade was so fucking hype with Illidan being badass in it. Wrath of the Lich King was so GODLY with that HYPE UNFORGETTABLE soundtrack, Arthas' father monologue and Arthas just being lonely raising the dragon from the ice etc. Was so freaking beautiful. This is just so boring IMO. Woulda been better to focus on Thrall I think, someone people have a stronger connection to perhaps.

= :^) ?Isn't he like the next Medivh or something now? It's true they have gone through major characters, but I mean that's why I said they could've made a trailer based on Thrall in this one. He's basically the only main character from WC3 in this expansion that makes sense to focus on. But maybe his role in the plot is lesser in this expansion compared to the focus in the trailer, hence the focus. Still it doesn't strike me as memorable.
S?
lol..

Guess it's impossible to really come close to replicating the feels form those trailers I suppose... The soundtrack + feels from the monologue combined with the character and all that is just too good, lol. That trailer was so hype I came back to WoW, lol.

= :^) ?Yeah, just would prefer it as an actual solo game xDYou can solo Arthas at lvl 90 with the right class. Death Knight I believe can solo him. Probably Paladin too. Well I like that more than the rather ridiculous 25 ppl to kill one man to be honest. Then it's more in line with WC3 with "heroes vs heroes" xD
I guess he's like the "guardian of the earth" or something like that. He had a big role in the third expansion. I don't remember the details. I mean he left the Horde and all.
Sure, but we had this discussion before.
One is still allowed to dream, even if it seems impossible.Kinda the opposite opinion I had. The only stuff I agree with is the romance between Jintan and Anaru, but way more focused on Anaru. Who is the one who's always loved Jintan? Anaru, not the other way around. I'm not sure what you expected from Jintan. Okay so Menma is gone and now I'm a good boy and start to go to school owning like a boss. Maybe I have that opinion because of how much the human mind was part of my education training, emotional scars don't vanish that easily nor does behaviour change that fast. He basically was a shut-in before the Menma case, now he goes to school somewhat regularly and is able to finish the class, I call that quite the achievement. No way he can change that drastically just like that. He's on a good way, probably just doesn't know what he really wants to do yet. He never was in love with Anaru either, while he basically never got over Menma (only some short time ago). Don't expect him to do anything in that direction, he's too focused on his everyday life atm, and like I said needs to find his own goal. Anaru needs to be more straightforward, then again she's always been more of a coward. A kind coward but still. She should do more, that pretty much was the only complaint I had with the movie. To be honest, I feel like I would rather have my imagination be the sequel... So often you think "damn I want to see what happens after", and so many times you see the authors say "that's up to one's imagination, that's the beauty". Well in this case I would've preferred my imagination. Too little had happened in one year for me. Zero progress for Jintan as a character, not just his love life. I mean wtf the ending suggested he was finally moving on, going back to school and getting his life together. Now he still is a drop out it seems, while he doesn't seem to be emo, far from it, he still hasn't moved on. He's basically the exact same guy as before the series only not emo. It really annoyed me how the small hints dropped in the ending seemed to not be true at all. He didn't move on, go back to school and get his life together. He didn't build any form of a start of a relationship with Anaru. Nothing at all happened. Jintan and Anaru, mainly Jintan is my only real complaint. The others are more as expected. While Yukiatsu isn't dating Chiriko, they've both moved on/continued on with their life. They're obviously gonna get together sooner or later, and there's been progress for them, although slower than expected. They're just taking it super slow, lol. They only really lack officially dating. Ponpon is like expected, lol.
The nice parts of the movie were parts like seeing how good friends they are now, even though it seems like they barely meet so it's a little odd. Seeing Menma's family having moved on etc.
But it really made me cringe at the lack of any progress in the movie. The girls basically saying casually they'd "eventually say something" was so ... come on... Awkward moment with Anaru wanting to confess (again) at a reunion meant to focus on Menma, obviously bound to fail. Don't know what she was thinking, god the fail.
The thing is Menma was what was kind of wrong with the group. While she bound them together she also made a tension within it. When Menma is still being too focused on there's always going to be that awkwardness of Jintan and Yukiatsu always thinking about her before the others. God...
My point is the movie really didn't show too much in terms of progress for half the key characters, and didn't progress their lives at all either. It almost literally served no purpose but to provide fanservice, which kind of cheapened its value to me. The worst part is it left me really frustrated, kind of like the series. After finishing the movie at first I was like "ok, whatever, LOL!", then I thought some more about it and realized "yup, this is why it was frustrating". And then I got a little withdrawals and it's so annoying to hope the movie was going to provide SOME progress in their lives but provide almost zero. MEH. Guess I kind of liked it despite all the negativity rant (it really wasn't that bad, I'm just too much of a fanboy and it was kind of bad. YES IT WAS TERRIBLE. On a serious note it wasn't very good due to the reasons mentioned above about progress blablal....)
Notice I'm not even talking about the flashbacks! A tl;dr I didn't mind them until sometime halfway through the movie, then I got really annoyed at they kept dragging out and I started to realize nothing REAL would happen in the movie as there would be too little time left. ----- SIGH ------

Haha you liked that one huh? :^)
