Uh yeah xD I watched it all by myself and I believe Sky told me he watched it too. IIRC we were trying to get you to watch it ASAP. It's a really good show IMO. Glad to hear you loved it, I felt the same. Although I didn't like the "sequel" very much, too much out of the blue behavior and I found the change overly annoying. It made sense at the end, but I felt like it was incredibly overdramatic to have her act like such a fucking bitch for what seemed like eternity.

I had completely forgotten I had watched that show... Thanks for reminding me about it, it was a pleasure watching it. So many great moments. I think my favorite moment was perhaps the episode where they were in the half-finished building while they went through the "time warp" changes constantly.

I feel if I filled out my MAL, there would be quite a few shows I'd forget tbh...

Yeah, I should have listened to you guys XD A lot better than what I thought, damn. I can see your problem with the sequel, Iori's bitching was overdramatic. Well like you said it made sense in the end and it wasn't "too" annoying, but yeah, definitely overdone. Still enjoyed it, maybe because I really like all the characters, which is rare. Shame a second season is highly unlikely, guess I have to read the novels.
btw please tell me your favourite character is Inaba too!

I was really surprised because at first I thought the show only was about changing bodies, but the different "phenomena" all were really interesting. I think my favourite moment still remains Baloon Vine taking over Iori's body and falling into the river and what follows afterwards.

For a sec I really thought she was going to die and when Taichi kissed her in Inaba's body... that was so bittersweet. The anime (or well, Baloon Vine) really got me there too lol, was a pleasant surprise to see that he just tricked everyone.

I watched Godzille yesterday and got kind of hyped to watch anime purely because of the flute music in it, tribute to Japan ofc. But god that movie sucked ass.

Yeah Inaba was probably my favorite character. I liked all of them really, but I lost some respect for Iori at the end.

Haha, well I knew you'd like the series. It has an interesting setting and great characters, and has superb storytelling. I completely forgot about it, otherwise I'd bump you about it more.

Oh yeah, the death scene was really interesting. I had the same thoughts as you. Completely caught me off-guard. Well played there.

Uh, yeah. I'll watch Akame ga Kill when it's finished. I think I'll prefer waiting until it's ended. Other than that I don't really know what to watch now tbh. No idea what I'm in the mood for. Should probably scout around on MAL like I did before, but then I was in such an anime spree.

Haven't seen the new one yet. Heard what some friends talked me, saw what people wrote on the net.... then decided it's obviously not worth my time.

I feel the same, it's not often that you really like all the characters. Nagase's character suffered a bit with Michi Random, yeah. Still like her, but I definitely like Kiriyama and Inaba more.

You should have done that dude, now I feel dumb for ignoring the show for so long!

It's not often that I'm genuinely surprised or shocked about something that happens in anime, so that was well played indeed. I think the whole body switch arc was my favourite, followed by growing younger. Unleashing desires was good too, the whole thought transfer was really interesting but suffered from Nagase's bitching

With new anime I didn't mean anime from this season XD Just something new to start. If I had to think about what has the same qualities and same vibe as Kokoro Connect...

I don't really have a favorite "arc" there, as every arc had a very specific purpose of devloping the characters, and were equally important more or less. In terms of taste I found them rather equal in quality. I remember I said back then that the anime had a very unique way of bringing out character development due to its setting, which is it's main strong point IMO. The characters were obviously great, but the storytelling and plot also help make them as good.

A random fanservice ep? I guess it'll be fun regardless. Usually those extra episodes are rather lackluster xD

Well just because all of them are important doesn't mean the quality remains the same XD I see your point though, personally I thought all arcs were great. Even if Nagase's whining was a bit overdone the arc still had more than enough to offer. Those "trials" or whatever you want to call them definitely make it a unique storytelling, yeah. I guess I will start reading the LN's tomorrow, already looking forward to what's going to happen next

Hmm from the preview it seems like it's more than "just" a fanservice episode, but it will be fun anyway. Not like KLK was that serious all the time either

Yeah, seems like a really fun episode. Tho I got to say overall I kind of like how the series ended at ep 24... Was nice regardless tho.
