Hmm, but what do you mean by variety? I mean I'm CLEARLY a noob, but to me I have the impression every HxH character has like an "own style". Like Killua is like super fast looks like he partially transforms into lightning or something. In that sense it seems similar to One Piece to me. Sure the characters have a huge/endless variety of powers there since every Devil Fruit is different. But even so the battle system to me is simplistic really. There's no complexity to it in OP. You just eat a fruit and you get some weird ass power, and basically use your trained stamina to fight until you run out of steam. Now I can guess it's not the case for HxH, and I do have the sense it's way more complicated than that even without your posts here. Also due to the discussion you had before with me about Gon's super power up thingy where he becomes "adult". But it makes me curious how this system is that complex.

Well yeah, variety refers to the huge possibilities because there are many different abilities. Don't really want to see this getting compared to OP though, there's no system at all wtf. Do you want me to spell out the system now? Let's say it is similar to Naruto in some aspects, there are different "types" but not "elements". Better see for yourself, it's really cool and well-thought-out. Just saying though, it gets introduced later, sometime soon after the first arc, so you will have to wait until then.

Like I said it was so time consuming and I was actually considering buying a drawing tablet. Then I didn't do it and the hype kind of died.

Uh, I don't know. I only do simple stuff really. If I want I can make more complex PS stuff, but I never do it anymore. Fonts is easy to get, lol! But yeah I can relate to things being time consuming there. I never bothered to get into the sig/avy MAKING business since my standards are high and I sucked so...

Yeah I meant "end" really, hence the " ". I don't know about deserve. At least the fans deserve it I guess. Poor guys have to put up with a messed up author taking breaks to play video games ^.^

Fonts are easy to get yeah, but there's such a huge amount out there, and a lot of crappy ones. Searching for and selecting the ones you want (and are fitting for the image) takes quite a bit of time. Dunno, I guess it's easy once you have a nice amount, but I never reached that point XD

Not sure how serious you actually are, but that game stuff is just bullshit. He's more or less the same as Miura (Berserk), simply enjoying life.

Well looking at them now, they cost anywhere between €100 to 500. I have no idea how good the 100s class is really, that seems way cheaper than I remembered. Apparently it should be fine though. Some guys saying one in the 300 class is way more pro, but I doubt I'd need that. Would have to investigate but my first impression was 100s class seemed awfully cheap.

Just found out that I can go to Norway to work as a medical student. That means it'll actually be pretty good training wise I'm seriously considering this and have a friend who I might be able to convince to do next summer. Any good towns for me to try to get into?

I assume Tromsø is one, it is pretty popular for medical studies. It's however approx where I had my military duty, so fucking north.

That's the problem :O I'm not really about medical studies, just a hospital. Although the Norwegian also studying here also had to travel to Tromsø instead of his hometown (Trondheim?) to get some medical job thingy :S

I mean in terms of size, Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim are by far the largest cities. I like Stavanger but it's our 4th largest city, way smaller than Trondheim and especially Bergen. Both Bergen and Stavanger are coastal cities in the west, and Bergen is notorious for having "rain all the time, all year". I've never actually been to Bergen, the only city I haven't been to. Been to everywhere else multiple times/lived in them. Tromsø I know very well from my time in the army, and it's our smallest major city.

Pure hospital POV, I THINK Trondheim/Oslo are the best. Tromsø also has a strong reputation due to the medic studies in the university there. But I honestly am not very knowledgeable about that, sorry. But personally I like Tromsø a lot. However then you're faced with a cold environment for most of the year, light all summer, dark for 2+ months during the winter. Stuff like that. Tromsø is also really small for a "major city". You probably wouldn't call it a major city in another country to be frank (70k+ population). I find all the cities mentioned nice apart from not knowing Bergen. Personally I may favor Stavanger/Trondheim. Stavanger is just really nice during the summer and Trondheim is a great city overall, and has strong fields of study (good university), so I can imagine the medical field being strong there. It's more northern city than the others apart from Tromsø obviously. Oslo has our main hospital and stuff like that, so obviously it has a strong medical field and all that. Overall a good city but slightly more expensive than the others too.

No options really. It's mostly because we're trying to arrange doctor substitute, so the usual agencies (probably) won't be able to help us given how they usually send doctors there (with realy high pay etc). That's why we're thinking of contacting different hospitals.

Seems like Tromsø is out. I like rain as much as the new guy, but I'm planning to go there fall+winter and I won't appreciate 2 months of dark xD. I was just asking you for the general thing about cities, and it seems from you like Stavanger/Trondheim might be nice. How are the options for skiing around these areas (heheh)?

I can't imagine there being good skiing mountains around Stavanger. You'd probably have to drive a bit. I mean just look at the geography.

Well not good for my standards, but there's probably some short/bad slopes an hour or so away from the city I'd guess. I'd be very surprised it that's not the case. But every major facility is in the middle of the "guitar body". So North-West of Oslo, East, North and North-East of Bergen etc. I would imagine there being much more close/decent facilities around Trondheim.

Yup, seems like I'll try Trondheim first then. Thanks for the help. The last Norwegian I asked was so homesick that the only town he could recommend was his own hometown xD

Well I'm glad that you finally started watching, that's all It starts rather average I guess, or at least that's why I heard quite a few people dropped it during the first three or four episodes or so, but you just need to hang on (personally I found it amazing from beginning to end, but I can see where those people are coming from).

The old chairman having the "catch the ball" game was such an obvious Bell Test inspiration... Second Chuunin Exam Stage was basically another version of the 4th Hunter Exam Stage. Scrolls instead of Cards. Well there's more but I really chuckled when I watched the ball game.
