Okay, the purpose of this thread is for the sake of discussing just how Fraudrin seems to have fooled the entire world. The details of the plan as to what he has done.
Because the more I read about Zaratras, Dreyfus and Hendricksen etc. the more I realize just how much of a diabolical genius he is.
First of all, let's begin 10 years.
We know what occured:
First of all:
Here it is noted that the Sin were called back by a Great Holy Knight.
And as we know:
The explanation for this AT FIRST was delivered by Gowther:
With the revelation of Fraudrin possessing Dreyfus however there is a whole other reason for the murder of him:
as well as:
So the reasoning here is simple:
Zaratras and his "Purge" Ability was a major threat.
Thus, he had to be taken out.
Fraudrin simply used Dreyfus and his entire jealousy and hatred towards his brother in order to hide/mask his own ambitions and reasoning.
The important thing to note is that Zaratras was noted to be invincible as well with "only the sins can put a fight".
Fraudrin cleverly used this to make the framing of the sins all the more believable.Who else could defeat Zaratras after all?
Secondly:
What also happened ten years ago?
Hendricksen began to change.
In the little extra pages about Dreyfus and Hendricksen it is noted they know each other for 27 years.
Hendricksen was FORCED to move to Liones when he was 12 with Dreyfus having befriended the young Druid.
Druids are noted to not really engage much with Humans and he was a Kid.
The Bond with Dreyfus thus is all the more special.
We know Fraudrin can somehow hack into Dreyfus' mind, so it's a simple thing to do for him to use the bond of the two in order to twist Hendricksen into the direction he wanted by using Dreyfus.
I'm not sure which chapter it was but it was also noted that Dreyfus was also his mentor.
We saw what Hendricksen was like, he was a kind and gentle person.
What could have happened that he ended up that way?
You know the answer.
Fraudrin used the bond and mentor role of Dreyfus, the 17 year long friendship to corrupt him 10 years ago.
During these years, Fraudrin had to do nothing as he managed to make Hendricksen do all the dirty work until the battle in Liones.Hendricksen collected all the pieces and Fraudrin himself took care of the last one.
From there on, Fraudrin won with all he had to do was:
Everyone thought Dreyfus was dead.
From here on, Fraudrin could operate from the Shadow and the single role of the Villain goes to Hendricksen.
And whether he wins or not, it didn't matter.
Fraudrin had the blood and all other pieces, Hendricksen wins? All fair and good.
Hendricksen loses? He can just rejuvenate him as we saw.
