I hope UBS makes good rankings, the series has potential, isn't bad.It would be a very pity if it get axed
Pure battle tournament stories are not what people want, as they voted against JUDOS, and UBS will go down the same route. I only read it for novelty sake :(

Toriko seems to have been clearly demoted in this new Joint issue cover. So Luffy, soma and Midoriya are the new top 3 in WSJ? I'm okay with that.

You're forgetting Koro-sensei in all this!

Also Haikyuu!! meaning Hinata should be also between the big ones.

What's the competitor of kagamigami? The Action with comedy series like Assassination Classroom?
Certainly not Assassination Classroom. To me, Kagamigami leans more towards Mieru Hito than Psyren because it is taking its time to insert something/someone very serious in the whole plot.

In Pysren, Nemesis Q was immediately introduced; whereas in Kagamigami it somehow introduces your main character only, with some female sidekick and the rest will come on later. Mieru Hito was also light hearted, funny in the beginning

Then again, unlike Mieru Hito and like Psyren, Kagamigami is adding interesting elements faster to the plot.

A competitor for Kagamigami, let's say the action shounens for sure...

Couldn't Toriko and Gintama be considered fallen veterans as well? Toriko sales decreases and the rankings are unstable, Gintama sales also decreased(?) and until some weeks ago it was Bleach's companion in the bottom, for some reason to got better lately...
Kochikame is the veteran that never graduates. :3c

I'm just talking of magazine. And in terms of sales 300k is still considered big!

And no, Gintama and Toriko in the magazine were always in the Green area. Toriko is not as unstable as people may think, it goes up and down but always centered in 6th position.

This year Rankings:
All(Only Ranked)
Toriko 11(07) 05(03) 13(09) 12(06) 02(01) 11(08) 11(09) 04(03) 08(06) 06(04) 15(10) 10(06) 12(06) 03(02) 14(08) 06(04) 12(10)

Gintama 12(08) 14(10) 12(08) 13(cc) 07(05) 01(cp) 10(08) 13(11) 05(03) 12(08) 06(04) 14(08) 10(05) 07(04) 09(05) 11(cc) 06(05)

I'm not talking about volume sales nor this cover has to do with that.

It really doesn't matter where Gintoki and Ichigo are placed, in all fairness. WSJ's probably not sure where to put them either.

I find the newer big series more interesting. Haikyuu!! sells a butt-load more than Soma and BnHA but has never been actually promoted to the big spot. BnHA is less than 40 chapters old but is already being showcased as a potential big one (which it totally is).
Koro-sensei is almost placed in a sorta awkward position in these joint covers, even though his size in such issues is only second to Luffy. I assume thats probably because WSJ knows AC won't last that long.

Edit - Also, I'd say Toriko is pretty unstable. It's following almost the exact same pattern Bleach did. It'll be interesting to see where Toriko would be once this oscillation of ranks stop.

Kochikame is the veteran that never graduates. :3c
Made me laugh more than I should have.

Because Kaga ranked 5 and 6 while Black Clover ranked 9.

Note that those 2 titles are still in their beginning rankings so they still have a high degree of variability(in both ways: up and down). So is not as conclusive as the other titles.

The serialization time is important to decide what they will promote more. I think that Haikyuu is not that promoted because although it is a best-seller, it is not going to grow anymore than this, it almost reached its peak already. Also, I don't see Haikyuu as the kind of series that will last forever like they usually like, I don't see Haikyuu lasting more than 10 years. It is so similar with Slam Dunk in terms of pace and structure that I think it will be last as much as this. Shokugeki no Soma and Boku no Hero Academia are from another type of series, they really can last forever, like Bleach, Naruto, One Piece and they have yet to reach their max potential. They are think in the long-term.
I don't have to comment AC, it can end this year...

It is called "mean". 9/1 = 9 and (5+6)/2 = 5.5
Got it? Do you need anything else? :derp

I think Haikyuu's "size" in the group cover just has to do with the fact that it won't have an ongoing anime on the date the issue will be available, unlike Shokugeki and Ansatsu.

So for issue 19, Black Clover was at 11 and Kagamigami was at 7 (counting color pages because this is how the guy in 2ch does it).

Any predictions for what we will be at next week for both of them, as well as the spot for Roggy? 10 internets for the person to get the most correct.

I'm going for
Kagamigami - 9
Black Clover - 11
Kaizou Ningen Rogii - 14

Other
World Trigger - 7

Count colors so we can easily compare it to what the spoiler says.

Risking everything:
1 Gintama (Cover and Lead CP)
2 One Piece
3 Haikyuu
4 Assassination Classroom
5 Boku no Hero Academia
6 World Trigger
7 Kagamigami
8 Hinomaru Zumou
9 Shokugeki no Soma(CP)
10 Roggy
11 Toriko
12 Gintama
13 Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan
14 Nisekoi
15 Kekkai Sensen (CP)
16 Black Clover
17 Kochikame
18 Ultra Battle Satellite
19 Takujou no Ageha
20 Gakkyuu Houtei
21 Isobe Isobee Monogatari

So
Kagamigami 7

This could be a game every week, where we try to guess the entire toc for the following week. I'll mull it over and do that.
