Oh the irony of loving the work of a former ****** artist while criticizing another artist, who made a suggestive sounding manga previously, whose new work hasn't even begun yet. I love how we speculate so hard on things that didn't even start.

The two manga have lewd sounding titles, not to mention molester isnt a positive word. Former ****** artist isnt as big a criticism as this other authors works to the casual observer. At least with that, we can still operate in the realm of reason and assume it was a work with at least two consenting sentient beings. Additionally, Food War's has three participating parties and he isnt even at the helm of the writing portion, so there is nary a chance that it is even pushing a lewd agenda.

To the "casual observer" Chikan Otoko will also mean nothing. The "casual observer" wouldn't look to see what Tosh's involvement in the other work is compared to Soma either. Harem Time certainly sounds like wholesome family fun to the "casual observer," doesn't it?

The guy was just the artist for Molester Man and Onani Master Kurosawa, he's not the author. The two stories are extremely touching and deep on an emotional level, they're definitely serious and whilst Onani Master is sometimes sexual, Molester Man is a pretty innocent light-hearted story. The title is just a joke, based on the first chapter, where a girl mistakes the main character for a molester. Totally innocent joke. Kurosawa is a lot less innocent, but at the end of the day it's a tasteful story about teenagers coming of age, and only starts with a controversial basis because it was initially based off jokes from 2ch (internet forum), but it's a totally serious and emotionally important story.

Anyway, he didn't write the stories, he just chose to draw them. I'm hoping the fact he chose to draw them suggests that he has good taste and will create something awesome, but we have no reason to believe these works will show in his creation.

For what little I seen about it, I love it, but unfortunately there are only 4 chapters translated.

Well that is reassuring. It would have been so awkward for them to serialize someone who creates the story of such stories.

The summary of all this conversation is that there are some people here who judge a book by the cover. Explain to them what the series really is is useless because the cover and/or the title describes everything about a series, why bother reading it, right?

The closest thing to the arts we've had in a while is Soul Cacther(S). But series with these types of themes tend to center around more realistic narratives, and are more common in seinen magazines.

The ultimate art-related manga was Zero: The Man of the Creation from Super Jump. 78 volumes about a master counterfeiter, featuring real works of art from all kinds of cultures.

Grand Jump has a manga about a tailor.

Yeah because your typical and stereotypical boring tsundere girl that only beat and scream with you for no reason at all, is the best girl ever, you talk about Onodera like if Chitoge is something nearly original instead of one of the most generic tsundere girls today.

Onodera is more popular than Chitoge in Japan.

The recent plot would have suggested that Onodera is going to be on the the cover. That is all I was trying to say. I didn't say anything about how I feel about Chitoge, I just pointed out that Onodera is a stupid runt. Chitotge as a Tsundere gives at least a reason for her behaviour - Do I like? Actually, I dont care.
