Re: The Tales of a young Kapparoni: Darja Senpai Edition
It was so relaxing... Kinda cold at first but meh.
I guess at least one of those two will happen.

Gintama is just that cool.
Agreed. I don't want AssClass to turn into the usual shounen... Just let Kayano follow Nagisa everywhere he goes plz...
Come on give me a hint... I simply can't decide...

Change is wanted? By whom exactly?
Starting what?

Just realized that I have 0 shows on sunday... So basically I could watch nothing for the whole week and split everything between Saturday and Sunday. Maybe I'll just do that.

Drop Counter: 4.
Kaleid... I want that beach episode so badly...
Yeah I watch OP and ED every week. I only skip them if they are really bad or in Narutos case because all the Naruto x Sasuke crap is annoying.
well water is supposed to be cold at first....
Yeah resistance for the win
Sure, let her turn into another bitch who follows the MC... I honestly didn't like how fast she was defeated, hopefully she remains more than Nagisa's love interest.
A hint? xD I dunno, choose something from this season maybe? I suggest Kobayashi

Change is always wanted, because a stasis is boring.
Tsukihime I meant, because you went "Yeah okay but first have to finish the anime episodes" or something XD And no, you have 1 episode on Sunday

Only day without a show for me is Monday.
I just started watching HxH 2011, currently in Ep 40
Nice nice, you're so late to the party! It's awesome, isn't it?
I finished FSN, well Ep 24 anyway. I haven't watched the epilogue again.
Gawd that was a helluva fight

. The fight in the reality marble was just too damn epic. Shirou was freaking amazing. He managed to replicate the vast number of weapons that Gil summoned. I think he even broke some (though I'm not sure if that wasn't my eyes playing on me). He actually managed to get Gil to hold a sword and block by himself. I don't think anyone ever made Gil have to do that. He also managed to overwhelm them with the swords. It was also nice watching Gil acknowledge Shirou and eventually pull out Ea, when only moments prior, he was saying Shirou wasn't even worthy of gazing on it. Still he hesitated before he pulled out Ea and Shirou cut of his arm in that moment.
I freaking loved when Gil finally admitted it verbally. "I'll grant you this, at the moment you are powerful". That was so freaking crazy. Shirou even used Rhio Arias (that's the bow thing archer used right?). Damn, Shirou was wild in there, unrecognizable. The battle was just too good.
For the other parts, Saber's Excalibur was magnificent as always. I was surprised when Archer intervened to save Tohsaka and later on Shirou by killing Gil. Did he re-summon himself or he just never went in the first place? The Gil vs Shirou was really perfectly done. Plus the soundtrack too (even though I dunno them from the VN

). Still, Gil would have won if he had pulled out Ea from the beginning right? Maybe he would have even won if he hadn't hesitated right before Shirou cut his arm. I also noticed that Shirou used archer's trademark blade and bow for the final attacks. That was cool.
Also, something else Shirou said. He said that he could defeat Gil because Gil never decided to master a single weapon. He also said that he wouldn't have been able to beat a servant that had mastered even one weapon. Is that true? We did see Gil being the superior servant for the most part and he didn't need to use Ea either. The only time he had to, it was to dispel Rider's world (forgotten the name

). Shirou managed to match Gil's speed and numbers in weapon summoning. Surely he could beat others like Gil had? Gil's weapons were usually fast enough to reach just about any servant. Also could Archer (white haired Shirou) replicate what Shirou did? I know he can do the reality marble thing, but what of the speedy summonings and sheer numbers. Can he pull that off too?
Yeah, the fight definitely was awesome

A lot of things came together for Shirou to be able to fight Gil, but in the end Gil's arrogance was at fault. Have to hand it to Shirou though, he sure knows how to taunt Gilgamesh XD He pretty much lost because he hesitated to use Ea for a tad bit too long, I think ufotable did a very good job with that. If you take a closer look, first he hesitates and then he shortly draws his hand back, forms a fist, and then grabs Ea. Really liked that swift motion only lasting for like what, 2 seconds or so, but everyone could notice that this was the deciding factor for the battle. Shirou still "lost" in the end but that's only realistic tbh.
And Rho Aias is no bow thing, it's a shield used in the Trojan War. It's a reference to this hero:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ajax_(mythology)
"Ajax commands his army wielding a huge shield made of seven cow-hides with a layer of bronze."
Servants can't really re-summon themselves, he never was truly defeated. It's honestly a little bit of a stretch that he survived that long, but I guess it's possible because he went into spirit form and waited for the one moment where the last few arrows he could shoot are the most useful. Soundtrack was splendid indeed, I still love the Emiya track to death XD
And yeah, like I said earlier, Gil would've won the fight if he hadn't hesitated using Ea.
The point is, that Gil is the ideal opponent for Shirou. Don't forget that Shirou replicates weapons he sees, he can't just summon them from nothing. None of Gil's weapons (besides Ea) are strong and unique Noble Phantasms, but their prototype, making it easier and less mana-consuming to replicate them. They don't have a unique ability either. That's why Shirou is right, under normal circumstances he couldn't possibly beat a servant who has mastered one Noble Phantasm because 1. The mana cost would be immense (replicating Excailbur once would cost him pretty much all his mana) and 2. The Servant is just THAT much better in handling the weapon.
Shirou could replicate all of Gil's prototypes and rival/outmatch the speed thanks to the Reality Marble, which enhances the speed of his weapons and lots of them are already available anyway.
And Heroic Spirit Emiya (that's the official name for Shirou Archer) could easily best Shirou lol, he just never went seriously against him. Their fight was more like a clash of ideals, not of power. Emiya could've always finished Shirou in their fight if he so wanted to, he's obviously capable of a lot more as a Servant with a lot more experience.
