Well, I use the red son team and I don't get that many defensive battles. With them I would argue the issue is just how many people have that team. So many people start with that that you are simply bound to run into them. To me it sounds like MP magnets should be characters who are not so common. So even if magnets are a thing they are not something you would see from an attacker perspective. At best it'd be a team you rarely fight against. In turn as a magnet you would notice more people attacking you so to speak.

Yes you won't notice the specific magnets from a character perspective but I was trying to give you an example though even from an attacker's perspective, you could guess which characters could bring you more battles than others (to an extent).

Well, you also have the red son guys who give boost to all team members, WW who enhances females and several others... I guess it depends on the extent to which the boost works. Maybe going over 20% would be too much but if darkseid gives less than that it would kinda work out. I mean, giving 2 golds an extra 10%-15% stats is neither unheard of nor game changing.

True but I'm talking about a case where he gives that sort of boost and still also affects other card types differently. What I think would be too much would be if he specifically interacts with card types differently. Basically, you'd have a character that powers up all card types to a specific level not too mention having respectable stats himself. Hence why I think it's better if he just affects one type so he doesn't negate the relevance of having different card types on different tiers of power.

Well yeah, although like I said before, he's also one of the MP magnets and his stats are good enough for him to survive battles especially when equipped with the proper gears.

On another note, I used Cloak of destiny gear and Batgirl's gear (both evolved but not maxed out) on Batgirl and holy shit, she's a monster. Her SP1 is mostly an instant KO if it's not blocked or atleast takes about half of the opponents life. I haven't even maxed out the gears but if her SP1 crits, it does about 100K damage I think. If it doesn't crit, it does about 40K damage. lol that's so hax especially since she starts the battle with a bar.

Well yeah, although like I said before, he's also one of the MP magnets and his stats are good enough for him to survive battles especially when equipped with the proper gears.

On another note, I got doomsday from a discounted gold pack.... It turned out even cheaper as I have been selling the extra cards. In the previous one I got a second rhas card and sold it for 30k credits... Half price discounted pack lol. I guess I gotta upgrade it now.

Don't support cards give back a percentage of what they cost? All the support cards that cost 50k, there are a few, should give back about 30k or so.

Yeah, pretty much unless you count the silver card doomsday. I am still advancing slowly with the grinding thing though so it will take a while. If I had been playing as I did when I wanted the red son packs I would probably be working on a third team of EVIIs right now lol. All I have done is upgrade my batman and nightwing to EIV.... then again I have bought other stuff at least. A few more gear spaces and whatnot...

The cloak's damage is mostly the increased percentage against stunned characters and increase in crit damage. Batgirl's SP1 is auto stun on the first hit if unblocked hence why it's almost certified but the cloak still gives about 20% stun chance on tag in. Pretty crazy lol.

What do you think about the superman, aquaman and RWW pack? It seems like a good deal, more accessible than other packs at least. But then again obviously the characters are not as good. I already have superman and RWW so maybe it would be a good one to focus on. On another note, today I was deciding whether I should buy a discounted pack or upgrade animated harley. Turns out I got animated harley from the pack lol. Cheapest upgrade yet after selling the other cards lol.

Yeah. Though it does do extra damage on crit attacks but it's ultimately the stun and crit that make it OP. Arkham Deathstroke's SP1 is auto crit if you hit 200% and he has one of the highest damage stats in the game but he definitely can't instantly KO with his SP1 even if a gear that increases crit attack is used.

Oh, I haven't gotten in the game for a while so I didn't even know a new pack was up. Funny enough, Aquaman was the last card I needed to max elite so my gold collection is complete. Well, except for the challenge characters I missed which haven't been added in the packs.
Not really big on the pack though. Aquaman prime isn't really good imo. RWW has been nerfed and Superman isn't anything special. I think it's kinda a waste if you're trying to build a rooster. It's more like a team you get for collection purposes but well, you already have Superman and WW so if you feel they're good enough you could get the pack.

Lol yeah. That's the beauty of discount packs. You could get lucky with it. Plus AniHQ has a high drop rate.

No I didn't. I didn't even know about it until today which was too late. I've been itching to get my hands on animated batman beyond and I just missed a golden opportunity. I have more than enough money to have gotten him to EVII instantly. I was actually quite pissed when I found out.

Ahh, thats a shame lol. I decided I am going to farm to take advantage of the 25% discount until my animated BB is at evii. I already have him at eii and I can promote him once a day... Also I am worried that I won't be able to promote him if he stops being in the store.

I just decided to check online to see what was happening and then I rushed to the store to see if they were still there but obviously not . I meant, what happens if the offer is over? Do you unlock the character to be able to upgrade anytime (like challenges) or is it only something you can do because of the offer? Well I guess you wouldn't know since you still have them. Characters won in multiplayer (like Cassandra Cain recently) aren't unlocked. You only get that copy. Or like getting a previous challenge character from pack. They aren't unlocked.

I have no idea honestly. I have been looking online for that and it seems that red sun batman and animated BB can't be promoted normally, pretty much the ares situation. But I am still not 100% sure of the information.. Only way to know would be to go online.

Well, it would definitely be better if he was in a pack which didn't have an element of randomness to it. I want the pack with nigthwing, bane and hawkgirl in it... Mostly to get bane though, my nightwing is at evi...
