FDKM Natsu takes it high diff. Without it (but with the FDK attacks), it's most likely a draw since they both have similar feats and stats.

FDKM Natsu is probably weaker than Acnologia and Zeref but is way out of anyone's league, but I agree with you that with FDK attack they probably equal

Natsu's Flame Dragon king crap doesn't exist anymore, so people should stop mentioning it.

Anyway..

Laxus stomps. LD jaw or the secret art he used against Jura should oneshot Natsu easily. Natsu's durability isn't exactly that impressive. I mean we are talking about the same character who got one-two shotted by base Jackal's explosions.

Onesided thread is onesided. Natsu loses big time.

Natsu's vastly improved over the timeskip. Besides, Jackal's curse turned anything he touched into a bomb. Since Natsu touched Jackal, his body itself became a bomb. That's an ability that Laxus doesn't have. It wasn't as if Jackal used one of his normal explosions, it would have had no effect on Natsu.

LDJaw isn't oneshotting current Natsu. Not even close.

Why do people think that oneshotting can just happen so casually? Oneshotting is not just about power, it's about practicality. Unless someone is going to just wait for Laxus to deliver LD Jaw they're not going to get oneshotted by it. If anyone suggests a oneshot it has to be a spell that is not only strong enough, it has to hit. For the latter. this would be a large AoE attack (see Natsu's roar on Bluenote), or something insanely quick (see Acnologia's gutting of God Serena).

I Hope You are Joking? In DF Natsu is definetly Stronger Than laxus. He in His DF is 3 Times Stronger than His Base State.Laxus couldn't One Shot Base Natsu in Fighting Festival Arc.Base Natsu+Base Gajeel defeated laxus. We Can easily assume DF Natsu is much stronger than Base Natsu +Base Gajeel Combined.

Pretty sure you are joking here not me. Df Natsu in current timeskip is featless. Base Natsu was protected with plot armor and fought a weakened Laxus while had Gajeel as his partner. If FL is connected, Natsu is dead.

What durability feats does Natsu have that makes you ckaim he can withstand a LD jaw? A secret should oneshot him when Jackal's teared him up a notch.

He Received Many Attacks from laxus and You still Think He will be One Shotted.DF is not Featless as it was not shown.I Will give You an Example. In Tartaros Arc Natsu in Base State Could Barely Scratch Mard Geer. But When He Attained DF He overwhelmed Mard Geer Temporarily.Even Mard Geer was Shocked by The Power. So You Can assume How Much Power That Is.Where laxus was clearly below Mard Geer during The Tartaros Arc.In DF He will defeat laxus.May Be It Will Be Extremely Difficult Fight but The Winner will be Natsu.

And You are Comparing Tartaros Natsu with laxus.Current Natsu has Huge Training for atleast 11-12 Months. And You are Talking about Jackal's Bombs Things are different. When Jackal Hurled Explosions at Natsu It Had No Effect. It was when Natsu touched Jackal He Turned Into a Bomb Himself. It's not like That Jackal's Explosions were strong but Natsu himself Turned into a Bomb.

Natsu said he could only use FDKM once. If he used a couple o FDK attacks before he used FDKM, it would mean that FDK attacks aren't necessarily connected to Igneel's powes. Even without FDK attacks, Natsu was portrayed as stronger than Gildarts for one-shotting Bluenote.

Natsu was never one-shotted by Jackal's explosions and that's Tartaros Natsu. Not to mention that Tartaros Natsu tanked Etherious Tempesta's attacks, Franmalth's Amaterasu and later tanked Jiemma's attacks. Post-timeskip, though he lacks concrete feats (enduring Bluenote's gravity, Ajeel's sands and Marin's assault isn't really an upgrade), he has at least as much durability as Gildarts or at least Erza. Besides, LD Jaw's best feat was taking down base Tempesta who's vastly inferior to Current Natsu.

He received many attacks from Laxus? All he received were a few blows and a lightning roar. Some of the major attacks Laxus used were taken by the brunt of Gajeel. Laxus didn't even use lightning body or a secret art. and due to plot stupidity, Laxus failed to use FL because plot. Had FL connected, we all know Natsu would be oneshotted.

Mard Geer wasn't overwhelmed, he was taken off-guard, and couldn't get back into groove. Once he got serious, he held DF Natsu by the head and was about to destroy him, but Gray saved his ass. LOL how is Natsu winning against Laxus extreme diff?
Laxus has shown much better speed, physicality, endurance, durability, long and short distance attacks, defense and arguably better intelligence. This is a stomping thread.

F.Rogue who was on GMG Laxus's tier blitzed Natsu with ease.

Yes Current Natsu should be stronger than Tartaros Natsu but have seen feats from him where he's not using his father's power?
All he did was oneshot Bluenote who was fodder.

Once the game was on equal terms, Gildartz oneshotted Bluenote.
One can make an argument that Bluenote is no longer in his prime and gotten a lot weaker when he faced Natsu.
At best, Natsu (LFD) current is on Gildartz tier.

Etherious tempesta's attacks? What attacks did Etherious Tempesta even use? A simple no named fire attack? So impressive there buddy.
Jiemma's attacks are featless anyway, and Natsu didn't tank Franmalth's attacks, he endured it the very same way Happy and Lucy did.
On what basis do you make claims that he has about as durability as Erza or Gildartz? Prove it.

Laxus wins mid-diff.

No, he wasn't. You're basically calling Gildarts fodder now, when he's a high tiered fighter in the series.
No I'm not. Gildartz oneshotted Bluenote when it was fair game.

Natsu doesn't have any real durability feats that put him higher than his Tartarus feats. Based on his power I'd say his durability is above Mard Geer (which means above Gildarts too); and I actually think he's above Ajeel/Serena in this regard. This is my estimate so don't go getting all "where's the feats for this?". Basically Natsu intrinsically has great durability for his relative power level all series so I'm just scaling. His endurance right now I estimate to be on the top tier because of his power level and his immense showings pre-skip.

The problem is that we're giving Natsu and Laxus their current offensive feats, but then demanding that they need durability feats for their current selves which they both don't have. If you're using Tartarus level durability to take on this duos current offense it's a oneshot,

- Current Natsu's roar would drop Laxus with Tartarus durability
- Current Laxus' nuke would drop Natsu with Tartarus durability

They've probably got around the same durability and endurance right now. Without Dragon Force, I give this to Laxus high diff based on their feats and speculation of how they'd fight.

Didn't Gildarts fight Bluenote before he used Empyrean??? Oh yes he did, so it's not a oneshot. Gildarts had to use his best spell that we know of to put Bluenote away. But if you think that's a oneshot then basically EVERY single fight will be ended in a oneshot. Even Laxus didn't oneshot Tempesta and that was much more of a lopsided fight than Bluenote v Gildarts. Natsu is just that much better than Gildarts now. Erza/Gray could probably take down Gildarts too.

Not only did Gildarts not oneshot Bluenote, but the manga goes out of their way to remind us they were equals. Why would Bluenote get weaker? There's no reason to assume that.

The reason why Etherious Tempesta didn't land any hits on Natsu was because Tempesta was too busy getting hit. Natsu blitzed him from the get-go. He would have still kept blitzing him, because apparently he still had enough power to go dragon force against Mard Geer later.

Also, you're not being very consistent. You just went from Laxus oneshotting Natsu with LDJaw to Laxus mid-diffing Natsu.

All his feats before taking off the bandages were done with his own power. Bluenote was a "fodder" that was on Gildart's level on Tenrou.

You are Right @Axiomus.I will like To Add One More Thing.laxus had easily defeated Tempesta with 3 Shots. One To Save Yajima and 2 To Defeat Tempesta.LFD Natsu had 2 Shotted and Tempesta fell to the Ground and He was in no position to get up and He was about to give the Final Shot when He got in a Scuffle with Gajeel.IN His LFD Mode Natsu failed to do any damage to Mard Geer but In His DF He did damage to Mard Geer.So We can assume how powerful DF is.

Not really. The manga protrayed Bluenote had to have an advantage for Gildartz to even stand a chance of winning.
All they did in the start was a mere scuffle and some punches thrown.
Once it was fair game, Gildartz oneshotted Bluenote with is strongest attack.

Exactly, he couldn't land any hits because Natsu's attack speed is good enough but what does have to do with durability?
Natsu had plenty of rest after the battle with Tempesta and Marde.

I changed my stance, after re-reading some statements and gave some benefit of doubt to Natsu only for hype purposes.
I can't go any higher than low to mid diff at most.

A secret art, or FL should definitely oneshot Natsu.

What's the point of scaling characters where feats take precedent in threads like these? We can scale Laxus up to having Spriggan+ Level durability because his one named nuke was speculated to oneshot Ajeel or majorily damage him based on your logic of level of high power gained through scaling.

We can scale Gray and Erza to Gildartz level durability given the improvements they have shown. Does that make sense to you?
Gildartz was durable enough to survive against Acnologia (albeit non-serious), tank attacks from Natsu and Bluenote with ease, which shits on any durability Natsu has even shown.

You can not say Natsu has the same level of durability and endurance, because consistently Laxus has shown greater level of durability and endurance than Natsu has prior to this timeskip. So the onus is set that Laxus should most likely have greater stats in that regard than Natsu.

Oneshotting a character with your strongest move can still be considered a oneshot. Strange concept, I know.
Laxus vs Tempesta was a two shot. If Laxus used a stronger spell, Tempesta would be oneshotted anyway.

The understimation of Gildartz is appalling. Well that happens when you're away for million years.

Laxus defeated Tempesta with 2-3 shots. Laxus blocked Tempesta's attack and countered it, he didn't attack Tempesta's body Iirc when he protected Yajima. LFD Natsu's secret was tanked by Tempesta. Tempesta had no reason to get up because Torafusa was taking care of Gajeel and Natsu. Tempesta got up quickly when everyone was down for the count so obviously he had a lot of energy to continue after taking a secret art from LFD Natsu and not looking exhausted.

Come on now, you know your arguments are not looking good at all when you're using these type of examples to prove an invalid point you made.

Mard Geer wasn't exactly all that bruised from DF Natsu..

No really. It literally says right here, "Right in front of them was the man that went toe to toe with Gildarts".
Literally the whole reason to even have Natsu oneshot Bluenote is to show how powerful he's become. Bluenote was chosen for the very fact he once was on the level of Gildarts. Gildarts never oneshotted Bluenote. They fought way before Azuma took down the tree, and they fought after the Tree came back on. When they fought before the tree fell, Gildarts overpowered Bluenote in a couple of exchanges...but nowhere near the extent in which Natsu overpowered Bluenote.

Natsu's durability was shown to be pretty decent even without having to take hits from Tempesta. Why is this a problem? You give Gray Laxus-level durability. Natsu has way more durability feats than Gray does. Remember Gray was using Silver's power in the Tartarus arc, and you don't count Natsu's feats with Igneel's power. In the interest of being fair, I'm discounting Gray's durability feats during Tartarus. With all things being equal, why is it that Natsu gets oneshotted whilst Gray gets scaled all the way up to Laxus' level in terms of durability?

You said that LDJaw from Tartarus would oneshot Natsu. Now you're saying secret art or Fairy Law would do it, which is basically Laxus' best spells. Fairy Law might work if Laxus can even get it to work on Natsu. The spell that he used against Jura, however? I highly doubt that could oneshot current Natsu. Current Natsu's roar would counter it.
