At least he knows that Obama knows exactly what he is doing.

Now we all also know that he knows that Obama knows exactly what he is doing!

Let's not for one minute doubt that Obama does know exactly what he is doing... He does know exactly what he is doing!

Do you doubt that he knows what he is doing?

Can anyone doubt that Obama knows exactly what he is doing?!?

No surprises in the criticism rubio is getting. He is a generic republican drone saying generic republican things... The only silver lining in him is that at least he is a proper republican unlike trump or cruz...

Well, he did say "You can live any way you want”

Unfortunately, he also said "I just believe marriage is between one man and one woman." - followed by “I think that’s what the law should be. And if you don’t agree you should have the law changed by a legislature.”

Hmm... seems like he doesn't really want the man to live 'in any way he wants' but rather to live 'in any way he wants, so long as it doesn't go against the firmly held beliefs which I have - 'cause if so, I will try to make that impossible by a change in legislature."

“I respect your view,” - read: "not at all"...

tldr. it's (not really) fine to be against gay marriage, but it becomes a real problem when you desire to actually try and pass laws to discriminate against gay people's right to marry who they want.

From a legal perspective, the main issue with gay marriage revolves around federalism. You can't have 1 state legalize gay marriage and have 49 others ban it and vice-versa. The conflicting laws would result in more problems arising in cases such as inheritances and civil cases than settling them, especially for legal cases that involve residents of different states. If I remember correctly, this was Justice Kennedy's main schtick in Obergefell v. Hodges.

Certainly rubio did nothing wrong... Whose fault is it that each and every one of his opinions was copy pasted from the republican wikipedia page? The programmer's of course, it's the republican IT department being lazy.

People actually want to continue the deliberate damage to America that Obama has done? Wow. No wonder Hilary Rodham Obama is doing so well.

Obama hasn't done much damage to the US, that was mostly Bush. Obama, accordin to sources, actually made America better, and he'd probably have done a better job (or worse) if our politicians weren't full of selfish idiots. Again, that's silly republican propaganda based on almost nothing but dislike for Obama. And again, republican candidates and politicians would get far less support if the voters actually did fact checking and didn't believe everything like sheeps.

Anyway, republican candidates who are pro-life but against lettin refugee children come here are hypocritical dumbasses. You can basically make the same argument for one.

"Babies deserve to live, they have a right to live! You're taking their right away from them! They can grow up to contribute to society and be great. It's a sin to kill babies, and it's unnatural!"
"Refugee children deserve to live too, and it's their right to live. You can't claim women shouldn't have a right over their body, but claim that you can have a right over accepting refugee children who'd probably be killed or be kidnapped or lead a miserable life! They can also contribute to society, and it's a sin to refuse help to children and let them die."

"But refugee children could potentially turn into terrorists and attack us on our homeland. They could be a danger risk, and it's risky to take them in!"
"However, children whose moms were forced to give birth to them could have unhappy childhood and turn into criminals or delinquents as well, especially if their parent/s ignore them or abuse them. Same thing can happen even in a good foster home (rare) or at a center for kids who have no parents. They're actually more of a risk because they're more likely to grow up angry and violent if their childhood hasn't been good."

"But I don't want my tax money going into fundin abortion!"
"That's another lie republican politicians came up with. Planned Parenthood can't use funds on abortions, so rest assured your tax money is used to prevent pregnancy or help people who want to get tested for STD or have STD or whatnot. Besides, more tax money would be wasted on these unwanted kids, so unless you don't mind what the funding is used for, you have no right to complain about your tax money or money you "worked hard" for."

Pro-lifers are so funny when they complain about tax or freedom or right. If I recall, republicans are generally the most criticized around the world and made fun of, while Obama gets praised more. According to people of other countries, it's the Americans that's making America look bad, from criticizing Obama and Affordable Care Act to obsession with guns and not doing anything to reduce it. Any republican candidate bar possibly Rubio winning would make US look pretty bad and lose any respect it got back when Obama was in office.

While Bernie may not be economically sound, he does seem to be socially there for the people. He cares about homosexuals, minorities, women, and even people in jail and has done so for decades.

Trump's popularity comes from him being loud as fuck, saying ridiculous shit a lot of people agree with, and running in a time where people are tired of politicians' bullshit. Cruz's popularity probably comes from him giving Jesus and God blowjobs every night and allowing religious authority figures to molest boys and not get caught (doubt this part, but who knows). Hillary's popularity comes from her being a woman (apparently) with a dynasty (her husband); said dynasty is why she received tons of media coverage over Bernie and why she's as big and popular as she is, because she's well known. Bernie's popularity comes from him being genuine and actually caring about social issues and standing firm by his beliefs for decades. Despite having barely any media coverage, Bernie became huge.

As of now, the democrats are seen less of a joke than republicans by almost everyone but republicans themselves, and Bernie seems to have more legit trust than Hillary, whose many supporters are allegedly voting for her and telling other women to vote for her just because she's a woman, and for feminism. Apparently, Bernie legit believes in feminism, so a lot of these women are saying no to Clinton's "feminist" supporters.

And truth be told, if the republican candidates weren't so conservative and backwards on social issues, I wouldn't even bother to vote. I'm voting for the rights of homosexuals, women, minorities, and many others. Not entirely sure what we'll give up economically if Bernie wins.

Im so glad New Hampshire doesnt matter. Screw the results, Rubio deserved higher and Clinton ought to have destroyed Sanders. How did he even win?!

At least Rubio crushed Christie. And Carson and Fiorina ought to just give up.

Bernie won because people know he's not full of shit like other politicians and is genuine, as I've said above. Him beating Clinton says a lot about how popular he is, and just how people view him. Clinton will hopefully continue to lose, especially since she does not seem to have as much substance to her. Main reason why Clinton has a huge amount of support is because she's more well known thanks to her husband and the media focusing on her and barely on Bernie. Yet despite that she's being seriously challenged by the Bern.

Bernie attracts the millennial because they're not as ignorant or blind as most of the older generations that vote, mainly because brainwashing or that's how they were raised.

So Iowa mattered because Rubio did decently, but NH doesn't because he had a poor showing? Something isn't adding up...

His performance can be laid at his own feet and the fact that NH has a different demographic compared to the evangelicals in Iowa.

I think doing well in the first state makes it matter because of momentum.

I also have to wonder if Rubio really did capture the evangelicals though.

Bernie attracts the millennial because they are younger and more ignorant about how the world and the economy actually works, and can't see that Bernie can't actually deliver any of his promises.

If a socialist is chosen as president it will only hasten America's bankruptcy and eventual economic collapse, which is almost inevitable at this point.

Why would momentum only matter for the first state? The process is long. The only way you win is by maintaining that. I guarantee Kasich prefers what has happened over doing better in Iowa, like Rubio.

Not that Rubio himself has evangelical votes, but the voting spread is different in NH because that aspect isn't one that has to be accounted for. If there are less evangelical voters and more typical conservative voters, people like Cruz or Carson get less attention and people like Kasich, Bush, Rubio, or Christie get more. But even if there are more voters voting for that kind of candidate, there are more choices so it gets watered down.

Less choices since candidates are being eliminated (numerous gave up after Iowa). Meanwhile more votes generated in NH. In any case NH was like 1% of total delegates for caucuses overall though?

Yeah but the percentage doesn't really matter. If people aren't getting results, then they aren't around to where those votes matter when the convention happens. This is why the system is set up this way. I think it's stupidly outdated myself, though.

A republican calling someone else ignorant is funny. No, Bernie attracts the millennial because he's genuine, and people have noticed he cares about social issues whereas the republicans want to take away freedom and rights of people while putting money in the pockets of the wealthy. I'm pretty sure Bernie can deliver more promises than the "ban abortion and same sex marriage!" republican candidates can.

Then it shouldn't matter if a socialist, liberal, or republican gets into the office as the country will become bankrupt and collapse anyway. Nor do I see why you care when you don't live in the US.

The only reason Sanders wouldn't be able to deliver on his promises is because the system is rigged to exclusively serve money. Sanders' proposals are as moderate as it gets. He is a classic Democrat. "Young people don't know how the world works." Bullshit. Young people go to work and pay taxes like everyone else. The only difference is far less of us still believe in the myth of capitalistic prosperity.

Ignorant? Millenials are on their way to being the most educated generation to date. That said, old people complaining about young people being different or lazy or whatever is the oldest old people cliche there is. If the fatalism involved in the claims around young people then humanity would have ended with it's second generation a couple hundred thousand years ago. And even if we are talking about "the world" and whatnot, why would millennials be worst off than their predecessors? Millennials have more and better access to information than any other generation before.

Now, it is true sanders might fail to deliver on his promises. Obama has had a hard time with his own agenda and he is nowhere near as leftwing as sanders.

And socialism won't necessarily bankrupt the US. All countries on earth are to a degree socialist, as in, there is a degree of government intervention. Historically, there has never been a purely capitalist country. mostly because people at large have agreed that the idea is pure insanity. Even the US is historically a mixed economy since the very start. The issue here is the degree to which countries are socialist and the degree of government intervention (and what you decide is or isn't capitalist or socialist...).
