We have a thread to list our manga list, our anime list, and our Asian drama list, but we don’t have one to list our favorite movies or just the movies we have watched. So I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread where we could list the movies we have watched, especially our favorite ones.
Here are 10 movies that I can remember atm :
Karate Kid I
Karate Kid II
Kung Fu Panda I
Kung Fu Panda II
Kingdom of Heaven
Fast and Furios 6
Fast and Furios 7
Imitation Game
The Pianist
The Intouchables
Top 10:
American Beauty: it reflects perfectly the stupidity of life for the average person.
Fight Club: The whole movie can be quoted.
The spy who loved me: Best James Bond Girl (Barbara Bach), Best car scene (underwater lotus), best iconic villain (jaws) ... the pinacle of what a Bond movie was supposed to be.
Le petit monde de Don Camillo: A italo-french comedy from 1952. There is something refreshing about it.
Kingsman: An already all-time classic for me. It's extremely funny
Interstellar: The concept of solitude in space translated to our screen.
La grande vadrouille: Because Louis De Funès is the most talented comedian on screen ... ever. Period.
Lord of the rings
Die Hard 3: the best action movie. Funny and full of action
The first Matrix movie: a revolution when it came out.
Thank you for sharing your lists zelllogan and Adam_xx. Reading your lists reminded me of some movies I need to add to my list.

You could relate to that movie and their students no matter what part of the world you live in.
Yes, the movie was about the educational system, but it was also about friendship, love, family, kindness, about understanding and encouragement, about following your dreams no matter how hard life could be, it was about life.
I would totally recommend this movie to everyone and anyone, no matter what part of the world they are from.
As you can notice by now, I really loved that movie.

That is so sweet!! But I feel a bit sad that you could not understand one of the best speeches ever, you know the one given by Chatur on Teachers Day, I just can't imagine how someone will translate lines like
"Mr Viru ShastraBuddhi, has been responsible for many rapes in this campus, and we students will follow in his footsteps."
or things like,
"Everyone has breasts, but they all hide it and give them to no one"
You must have been sickened by this.
Now some more additions: Though I should probably just copy a lot of them from you, since we have pretty much seen so many of the same movies,
The Da Vinci Code.

Actually, I loled so much during that scene. It was hilarious!! Poor Silencer, he didn't have a clue what he was saying! In the version I watched they translated that part with f*ck instead of rapes so it allowed me to laugh at that scene.

It is not surprising, for the largrest grossing movie of all time, it has barely left an imprint on modern culture, the damn thing did not even change the definition of the word Avatar or well, make Naa'vi popular in the same way that Klingon did, poor thing though.
