Jura didn't even took Jellal seriously as he did with Laxus.
I'm sorry what? Considering the fact that Jura realized he was fighting against another of the 10 Wizard Saints, he was completely taking Jellal seriously, hell he even started fighting more seriously immediately Jellal stopped using Mystogan's magic and switched to his own spells...
Sema is bigger than Laxus' CASUAL NUKE.
How? Considering Sema covers the entire sky and completely devastates a good portion of the earth while Laxus's casual nuke completely does nothing against the ground, I think it's pretty safe to say which one is more impressive
[/SPOILER]

He actually said that Sema is bigger... what are you doing?)
And as I said before - this casual nuke can kill spriggan while Jellal's strongest spell cant deal a lot of damage to Racer.

I said he didn't took him as seriously as he did with Laxus. he was serious but not as serious as he was with Laxus. please learn how to read :)

what does devastation has to to do with everything???? result against opponent > AoE destruction

Sema is impressive. I already said that and that lightning nuke had the effect on the ground. maybe not as much as Sema but it did and it was CASUAL.

You still aren't showing me exactly what showed Jura was taking Laxus more seriously than Jellal, but fine then, let's do it your way.
Jellal vs Jura- He used magic from the get go
Laxus vs Jura- He didn't even think using magic on Laxus was necessary, considering the fact he just used his bare hands to strike him down when they started fighting
Again, where's the seriousness?

what? Jura used his magic but Laxus dodged it and engaged him in hand to hand combat. Jura even removed his cloak off and Laxus removed his pimp cloak. Jura was basically standing on the same spot against Jellal. he even said to Laxus that the last one standing will win. he also said something like "my blood is boiling. its been years since it was last boiling". he was going all out. no bunch of rocks will put Jellal or Laxus down and the fight between Jura and Laxus was mostly off panel. we might as well say that Laxus didn't use Fairy Law because if he did then its instant win.

Um, coz Laxus said it himself?

Got it straight from Freed....it's like Natsu receiving the Flame of Rebuke from Jellal to go DF

Huh? I'm pretty sure they started turning the tables on him when his heart was destroyed..

Also when Hades beat Makarov earlier his heart was intact.
Are you for real or are you just kidding?..... The heart didn't allow him to take damage, that was it's primary purpose, you also failed to show the panels after where he still managed to take on the entirety of team Natsu after his heart was destroyed, stop using panels that are convenient to you and leaving out the rest, your the kind of people I hate debating with.

Again, are you kidding?........ Using your logic, I could say that every single opponent Natsu defeated, he defeated with Igneel's help, the same can be said for all the first gen and just about everyone who has had a teacher who taught them magic.
Teaching someone magic or a spell doesn't mean that you had a hand in their victory, Freed taught Laxus the magic but it was Laxus who used it not Freed. Your old enough to know the difference, I refuse to walk you through every single detail.

Physical Strength: Laxus

Durability: Laxus

Speed: Jellal

Magic Power: Jellal

Versatility: Jellal

Stamina: Laxus

Intelligence: Jellal

Laxus has the better physical stats overall, but when it comes to manipulating magic, Jellal is nothing short of a prodigy.

Jellal wins, extremely-high difficulty

Jellal wins, mostly due to his etherion power-up, unlike natsu´s it could´ve been permanent for all we know.

Laxus wins mid-high diff.
I dont disagree ith you about the winner (actually i don't agree either, i have no idea yet :P), however i can't see why you're thinking Laxu would only have a mid-high diff. The difficulty for either side would be extreme imo. Could you please develop your thoughts? =)

For me, I'm just comparing their battles with the Spriggans.

Even though Red Lightning was kinda BS, Laxus did pretty well in terms of endurance. Yes, he screwed up when he challenged Wahl, and yes, he was pretty much saved by Freed and Yuriy indirectly...

But his performance against an opponent who is immune to lightning was pretty damn good. Not to mention, Laxus was also sick and was at a disadvantage.

In addition, Laxus' nuke would have oneshotted and killed Ajeel. I've argued this in the past and I still stand by it. August blocked the lightning bolt because if he didn't, Ajeel would have died.

As for Jellal, I never found his feats that impressive. He used Sema on a group of Pre-Timeskip OS members and didn't even inflict major injury.

He inflicted moderate injuries at most.

Also, his feats against Neinhart weren't that impressive either. 1 year later, he used a more powerful Grand Chariot spell, and it only defeated Neinhart who doesn't have good skill or durability.

Jellal needs time to cast his spells while Laxus can effortlessly summon a nuke without even being serious. considering that Jellal was screwed by Neinhart random nuke although he covered Kagura (it doesn't change much) I'm pretty sure he would have been screwed with one nuke coming from Laxus. plus Laxus can just finish him off with a Dragon Roar or Secret Art.

Laxus takes this high diff. even that is arguable but whatever.

Execution is the name of the game here & Laxus's got the speed to win against Jellel decisively.

Sure you might say meteor arts grants Jellel excellent speed & agility; but this isn't a dance party nor is it a friendly race to the park, and Laxus himself is a speedster so the difference in speed would be negligible. However, Laxus can summon his power strikes at a blinding speeds while Jellel comparatively requires a bit of time to execute his.

Laxus is great tank & stamina freak, & I believe he could outlast Jellel, so even if Jellel plays the dance game with meteor arts, it would only be a matter of time before that playing catches up to him.

A quick question for the sake of discussion and / or possibilities:

Are contestants' minds bloodlusted aka going for the win immediately? In theory, Laxus can just set up a rune barrier as a temporary means of defense so he can cast Fairy Law. Jellal doesn't have the durability to tank that.

Laxus just has to buy some time for a few seconds, then boom.

Here I quote one of the tournament rules for you.

All characters are fighting to win at any and all cost.
And this is intro for Laxus Dreyar
Name: Laxus Dreyar
Status: S-Class Mage
Magic: Lightning Magic, Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic, Fairy Law, Jutsu Shiki.

Laxus Dreyar is a 2nd Generation Dragon Slayer, The Grandson of Wizard Saint Makarov Dreyar and an S-Class mage in the Fairy Tail Guild. Boasting strong Lightning and Dragon Slaying Magic, Laxus has also been noted to have enhanced strength as well as great durability, endurance and dexterity.
I'll leave this to you guys. Interpret it by yourself and consider it carefully.

I personally choose Laxus Dreyar. His durability and stamina are crazy.

I don't know man. I'm learning some new things on this tournament like Jellal getting this huge boost from Etherion, his defense is higher in Meteor, God Serena cannot eat fire and etc.

He's correct. Jura didn't take Jellal as seriously as he did against Laxus. Jura took his cloak off and started to prepare against Laxus, while Jura was in stationary position against Jellal and didn't remove his cloak. GMG Jellal definitely has chances to lose against GMG Jura.

Anyways, I feel Laxus wins this. Not sure about the difficulty.
Jellal's durability is very very unimpressive. He got oneshotted by a unnamed nuke while Laxus in nerfed state took on dozen from Wahl.
