Honestly, nobody. It simply wouldn't make any sense. Lucy and Erza are paired with other people whom they have a deeper connection to with than Gray, and nobody else has really been shown interacting with Gray in the last... oh, 300 or so chapters.

Just want to remind you of what you told me a while back (exactly quoted):
"Well, that's pretty fair. I'm perfectly happy to put my chips on the table, and I'm perfectly okay if the ships I support turn out to be wrong. If the pairings I predict turn out to be correct I reserve the right to gloat indefinitely. It is really no different from any other theory I put out there."
Remember, you said you are perfectly okay if the ships don't turn out your way.
That's a contradicting statement to your recent post above when you said "It simply wouldn't make any sense".
Now, given that in the recent chapter... like many, I agree that Juvia is somehow gonna be revived.
However, in the event that I'm wrong (I hope so) and Juvia is dead, it would makeperfect sense, according to you in the past.

There's no contradiction. I said I'm perfectly okay if the ships I support turn out to be wrong. I also said that it wouldn't make any sense for Gray to end up with anyone else. Both these statements are true. I'm perfectly fine if Gray ends up with someone else other than Juvia. I just don't believe that would be the case, because it simply doesn't make any sense.
So far, I haven't been wrong on the ships I support either. Juvia has feelings for Gray, and as of the latest chapter Gray seems to have feelings for her as well. GrayXJuvia is still the strongest ship involving Gray and Juvia, and it doesn't seem likely for Gray to end up with anyone else at this point. Even if Juvia is dead, Erza still loves Jellal and Lucy is much more intimate with Natsu. Mirajane and Gray haven't had an interaction since like... that chapter where he made fun of her drawing skills?

I'll even make a little interesting: I don't have a profile picture yet. If Kagura manages to snatch Jellal away from Erza by the end of the series, I will change my picture to an image of your choosing (nothing explicit).
Levy and Kagura did the same thing. On different people, at different times, in different places. Also different backstories, different context, and different motives. Levy rushed to save Gajeel because she was worried about him. There was a moment where Kagura contemplated on whether or not to let Jellal die.
Look, I even found my original quote. My offer still stands by the way. If Kagura manages to snatch Jellal away from Erza by the end of the series, you can change my profile picture. In fact, let's add to that. If Juvia dies, stays dead, and Gray ends up with Mirajane... I'll let you pick out my signature.

Lol, I don't really care to change your profile picture and signature. I already read that part a long time ago, but don't worry, I won't even bother even if one of the two happens.
Just because two characters have never really interacted, it doesn't mean that it wouldn't make sense for them to end up together. At least that's how I see it.
Not all romance is love at first sight.
But so be it, your opinion is your opinion.
Imo, saying that you are perfectly okay with a ship (meaning you think there is nothing wrong with it) is contradicting to saying the ship doesn't make sense.

Well if 2 characters aren't very intimate with each other throughout the story, then I see no reason why they would end up together. That's how I see it.
I'm not sure what you mean by not all romance is love at first sight. I never said it had to be.
I never said that I was perfectly okay with all pairings. I'd be okay if it turns out that Jellal and Erza won't end up together, and that Kagura steals Jellal away. That doesn't mean I believe it, or believe JellalXKagura to make any sense. It certainly doesn't mean I think GrayXMirajane makes any sense. This is not a matter of liking a ship or not either. I genuinely believe that if Juvia stays dead, Gray won't end up with anyone else.

IF Natsu survives although I can definitely see " Oh Zeref was joking about if he dies then Natsu dies" thing which wouldn't be surprising at all. plus, I like Lucy and Natsu more as best friends, not a couple.
I completely agree, to me there really isn't much to say that Natsu and Lucy should really be considered as a pairing in the manga, its mainly just driven by the fans. I do feel that unless it gets some development soon it'd feel somewhat forced for the two to end up with each other because as I've just said, there isn't enough there to solidify them as a pairing imo. They're more good friends and atm not couple material together.
That is true, but again, nothing is canon or confirmed. It's like saying Juvia and Gray were confirmed just because one arc passed by and Juvia was still obsessed with Gray, it's still up to Gray. Neither Natsu nor Lucy implied anything, as far as I recall, other than them treating each other like friends and relying on each other, which isn't even limited to those two. Few members pointed out how Natsu went out of his way to make Lucy feel better, but he did the same for Erza as well. Few members pointed out how Lucy always relied on Natsu, but Erza and I guess few others have relied on Natsu too and placed their hopes in him. To date, I have not seen any proof or evidence of development or possibility of romance or romantic interest between Natsu and Lucy, nothing that even hints they are close to canon pairing. If anything, there are hints and clues that they can end up together, but that's just it. Anything else is fandom.

I disagree with it feeling somewhat forced or not being enough. While they're good friends right now, there are hints that they might end up together. Lucy has spent a lot of time with Natsu, and both are pretty close and trust each other. I'm not sure what else, but all I know is that all it takes is something simple for even a bad mangaka like Mashima to make Natsu and Lucy end up together in a way that's good or makes sense. At least, it's better than Natsu ending up with Brandish if there's no development there or Lucy ending up with Laxus, which makes absolutely no sense given how little we've seen them interact.

I really doubt Natsu is going to end up dying. I don't think Zeref is joking about Natsu dying along with him either, but I'm willing to bet they will manage to resolve that before the end of the series.

I disagree with this. Ever since the GMG arc, Natsu and Lucy have been getting progressively closer. When Natsu was fighting the twin dragons, Lucy called his name in her sleep. They had that fanservice moment when Zirconis stripped her of her clothes, and then Lucy hugged him for comfort after the dragons disappeared. It was said in the narrative text that Natsu was the person Lucy most wanted to see after the 1 year gap, and ever since the timeskip we've been getting a bunch of fanservice. They might not be cannon in the sense that neither of them have confirmed feelings for each other, but I would not be at all surprised if it turns out they have them.
If we consider the other mediums, then there's a whole bunch of other things. I think fans are perfectly justified in saying that Natsu and Lucy are one of the stronger pairings. Even if they aren't strictly cannon, they are still very intimate with each other and there's a good deal of fanservice coming from the author.

All these things hint towards Natsu and Lucy having a high potential to eventually end up together. To me, there is enough to say that Natsu and Lucy are more likely to end up with together than with anyone else. Because even if Natsu and Lucy don't end up together, there is more intimacy and fanservice between these two than there are of them and anyone else. Like you said, it would be simple for Mashima to make Natsu and Lucy cannon at this point, as compared to say... Natsu and Brandish or Laxus and Lucy.
Natsu and Lucy just fit perfectly together. Their bond is very acute it's tangible and you can't really define it. She makes Natsu the best version of him, and the most alive. Pairing them up with other characters would corrupt that dynamic between them.
it really makes my heart warm just by seeing them together since chapter one.
Still doesn't really imply that they're anything close to a pairing, just that Lucy trusts Natsu immensely and considers him the closest out of everyone from Fairy Tail, which makes sense as he's the one who introduced her to the guild and the world that she loves so much now. Not only that, but Lucy (along with Erza, Gray, and many others) have seen what Natsu can do and the hope he brings just by being himself, so of course she feels comfortable around him. I'm pretty sure many other FT members consider Natsu their hero, especially Erza and Wendy, given how he usually ends up fighting the boss of the arc and ends up winning.

The best thing about Natsu and Lucy's relationship is the development is so natural from acquaintances to friends to best friends to eventually lovers. I agree with @SirSamuel016 on the aspect that do need to truly, truly have to show that "moment" of development but I like the snail pace they're going at. It just seems right, and when it's get canon it won't be out the blue cause everyone would of been able to see it coming
I think NaLu will get confirmed just like GaLe and GruVia got confirmed. Well I hope it gets confirmed without one dying. Same goes for JeRza. I don't disagree with people saying those relationships aren't canon, but they're going to happen imo. It's FT and not a shoujo romance, so the build up might not be great for ships. I do however believe Lucy has romantic feelings for Natsu, these have developed in recent arcs.
I was looking forward to Nalu fandom breakdown and goes crazy judging just how outdated interview makes them goes crazy that one would be glorious to watch/read
but yeah probably isn't gonna happen ( still fingers crossed for some type of cliffhanger )
