I think she mentions something about a country? So I expect maybe some world building coming soon - her home looks rather shady too, so if this is where she was referring to; I wouldn't be surprised if there is something similar to 'dark arts' there. (Lol, now all I am thinking of is HP)

I was curious who the guy on the right is after aster says he won't give up whos the blonde guy in the top panel it's not yuno i think and i don't recall seeing him before.

so another thing we now can foreshadow is that aster needs armour to protect his body an armour and shield is the next logical choice of weapons as i see him holding a multitude of weapons

Magic can't heal Asta's wound - doesn't that sound familiar?

I also think it could be the same type of thing that happened to William, maybe an ancient curse from his brother Licht? Or their parents? But either way this could be more hints to their connection.

I can't wait to see a flashback to that moment in Asta's life where he almost gave up, its interesting to know that even has been that down before. I also wonder which kingdom Vanessa is talking about, maybe its the Heart or Spade kingdom, if we'll even get those.

Ah you're right on those posts, thank you for reminding me, I haven't reread the manga in a while I forgot about that brief moment from chapter 1. It was thanks to his rivalry with Yuno that he didn't give up. And yeah I almost forgot about all the little comments made at the meeting of the captains.

Well I guess it is possible the kingdom Vanessa is referring to is either the Spade or Heart, I doubt its the Diamond kingdom, maybe its even a Joker kingdom. That one would be a cool reference to Hungry Joker, if the playing card kingdoms wasn't already.

What's also interesting is that Yami once got his hands cut off and got them reattached so the big question is who the hell was that strong to cut off his hands or how did they get cut off that person must have been a monster as well.

I don't think Yami will die I see Yami being the next sorcery Emperor or possible king as he has enough power to handle the job. He also has a lovely girl and I think he will hit it and marry her in the series this isn't naruto so i don't expect it will go that direction. I do agree with you whoever cut his arms must have also died in the process Yami prolly lost his one arm and stabbed the guy and then lost his other but did kill him at the end as i don't think yami will anyone let live.

Vanessa could take asta to her hometown as it seems witch and dark arts like and she knew about the black market and everything or maybe the hex guy we saw at the beginning might be the guy to fix this problem

'That guy is'
Asta is surprised when Yami is shown to be sitting on the sofa, reading a newpaper and there is no one else around. He uses Ki to see if he can find anyone. Outside a window he finds Noelle and Finral together; they appear to be talking about the fact they are secretly helping Asta.
Magna and Luck go to a wasteland like area, both happy to be trying to help Asta.
Gauche and Gordon go to the Royal Library to research; Gordon thinks about the possibility of befriending Asta.
Charmy and Grey(disguised as Charmy) are looking for herbs; Charmy as usual talks about the taste of the herbs and comments about curing stomach blisters.
Noelle and Finral; (I think Asta thinks about all the insults people have thrown at him) Both of them talk about the influence Asta had on them and why they want to help him as he stands by the window with Nero; listening to their conversation. Walking off; Asta pauses to cry "I'm not blessed with magic power, I was mortified - but I am blessed" (I think he is crying about how good his friends/comrades are to him)
After a little more conversation between Noelle and Finral; Finral ponders where Vanessa went.
Vanessa is shown infront of a large door.

I liked this chapter, it was simple but just the panel of Asta crying alone drove home the feeling of comradery.
Vanessa from a witches kingdom makes sense, I'm really interested in how this'll go. And I wonder Noelle is going too.

All the pics of the OVA show okay colors, feel, and things like that, but I really don't like the character designs, primarily Yuno's. Hope its not the same studio who ends up doing the anime.

This image confuses me? Like... are they animating part of the dungeon arc too or... I have a feeling Xebec is gonna mess it up. Thank god it's only an OVA.

The chapter came out really quickly today! Asta cried... I love it when MC's who never cry - cry. They were tears of happiness though; just wait for when he cries because something terrible has happened. Now... let's wait to see if Yuno cries. (Will that ever happen?)

Anyways; I'm interested in the Dungeon Luck and Magna went to. But I really want to know where Noelle is going... the water temple? Royal capital - to her family? (That'd be strange) She wouldn't go to another country, so other then those two I can't seem to think of anything.

I do look forward to Vanessa; it'd be a good chance for Tabata to leave her alone for a chapter or 2 to bring up the tension. But... he probably wont. I'm just glad we are having these chill chapters.

agreed vanessa and noelle are the likely candidates. vanessa for sure but i think it will require a mission as well a dangerous mission for a dangerous artifact and likely some kind of powerup

so the Light Novel is before the events of asta going to the city to join a guild like i believe chapter 2 or 3 right. I didn't read the light and don't have a link for the english translation so im curious how asta met up with him and why fanzel taught asta sword fighting ?
and how did noelle and faust know about fanzel's location ?
