I have to agree with you there, Epul, I'm not so sure it was a great advertising strategy on their part. That guy is so unbelievably gross, I can't decide if I should laugh, cry, or puke

bax is a sig freak, isn't he.. I feel like whenever I see him around here he's always got a new one, and it matches his avatar too...I wonder if he's as fashionable with his clothes...

but I haven't seen the anime, I've decided to remain a manga purist with Kenshin

Well, The only reasn I got into Kenshin was because it aired on Toonami years ago. If I hadn't seen it then, I'd never have gotten into either the manga or the anime

Personally, I think the manga is better than the anime. Reading the manga always makes me feel like wanting to be born during the samurai era and be a samurai myself. Samurais are so cool! ^^

GK, it's my favorite manga too

I have the ova's, but I've only watched the first one, his flashback, and I doubt I'll ever watch the other one. The manga was just so perfect to me, I don't want to ruin it. There are too many movies I've seen based off my favorite books that have not done the story justice, and I don't want that to happen with Kenshin.

...but Ichi, Toguro isn't green. Unless it's false advertising, that drink will turn you green as well. Are they making any more Hulk movies?

Well, I was a little green when I woke up this morning, but that had nothing to do with the energy drink.

Not sure I want to look like the crazy muscle guy, though.

Oh, and I guess I'm going to check out Kenshin now, since everyone reccomends it.

@PY: They are gonna make another Hulk movie. Only this time they cast Edward Norton as Bruce Banner. Maybe instead of using Ang-Li as motion capture model, they'll use muscle man this time.

Well, I ended up reading the manga since they never animated the Jinchuu Arc. And I watched the Seisouhen OVA, so sad ;_______;

That's cool about a new Hulk movie. They really botched it the first time around.

As for the picture, I'm having second thoughts. I don't want the real muscle guy getting pissed and looking to kick my ass for stealing his look. We'll see though.

Edward Norton? He's cool, but I always get him confused with Goose from Top Gun. Who was it before? Actually, now that I think about it, I didn't even see the first one.

I'm currently one day away from my deadline, but i'm too lazy to work. I ordered lunch at 11.30 and now it's 1.05 and no lunch in sight.

py, the thing i read said that above the 40 degrees north mark was good, but 45 was better. im at like 44, so you're gunna be close to 41, or 42 i think.

i saw it tonight it was cool. it went right by Venus, and in front of the moon. but we were still in town, so it wasn't that great. oh yeah, we were in Vermont today >_>

i found out a few days ago that my niece is reading Battle Angel Alita, or something like that >_>; not one i've read. but that's besides the point! my niece is reading manga without me prodding her to do so! and she doesn't even like to read! so i gave the mh web address, but i didnt have time to describe the layout of the site or anything, so she might not figgure out how to get to the intro thread. but if you guys do see a girl in the intro thread saying her uncle told her to come here, be nice! i'll be checking in there the next few days, but ill be working pretty late. who knows, maybe you'll finally learn my name!

I have some bad news for me... today when i turned on my laptop i found the screen all cracked!! someone stepped on it!! i think it was my sister *it probably was* but she won't say she did it. My dad's really mad about it too...

I hope it can get fixed.
