Looks like the Hibari arc in Yuragi wasn't too well received, judging by the supposed chapter ranked. Still don't get how Amalgam is that high, but it's my least favorite new series of this year, so...

At least Kimetsu and Samon get color pages next week and maybe the series I enjoy will rise a bit back up again. Hopefully the new series are enjoyable.

Wouldn't it still be top 5? I had thought Amalgam's only on ch 7. Either way Amalgam been placed pretty high the past few weeks compared to most unranked series, I'm guessing that means it's got decent reception.

Hopefully Jump picks it up, I wasn't particularly impressed with the jump start run but even so I don't want them to miss out on another success after picking up two total failures (especially now that Toriko is done and World Trigger is going on hiatus).

Well if Viz wasnt screwed before, they are now. Love Rush and Toriko gone, plus World Trigger on Hiatus. They just lost 3 series lol. I really think they need to put a few Young Jump series in there. Not all of them are super gory, and Jump just doesnt have a good enough lineup for them now. I normally read like 4 series in Viz that either arent translated/are slow/have bad translations. This week I read Love Rush and that was it lol.

Red Sprite is gone if we didn't already know it.
Pretty sure Shokugeki is just in a phase. It'll get over it.
Is Straighten Up safe now? They're actually giving it decent rankings for the first time in ages.
Nice to see Samon and Kimetsu getting colours. People have been talking about Samon looking like its getting some battle arcs. Has that happened yet in these ranked chapters? Or is the comedy just better?
Academia in 5th is like a record. The latest arc was kind of boring so its understandable.
Amalgram is being placed pretty high. It will be interesting to see how its first rank goes next week. The first 3 chapters were pretty terrible (imo worst of the 5 new series), so I can't see it doing particularly well. But if it's gotten better since then, I guess those first rankings dont really matter. Will have a quick read of the raws sometime.
