This series is in Jump+ but it has a promotion chapter in here last issue. The author on twitter (@ezweb_dylan) said that 悪魔のメムメムちゃん (Demon Memu Memu-chan) is getting a reprint. It doesn't break the threshold (13,821 last week and 16,317 this week) but I think it's kinda cool :)

Manga sales are declining too? Didn't I call a decline earlier? The rankings have been bad for a while and it may get worse with Toriko out of the way.

They better not rush Shokugeki
They won't rush it now with Gintama ending and World Trigger's future potentially at risk, it is currently one of the only four Jump titles with positive numbers. I have a feeling it will get the Toriko treatment somewhere down the line but I think they'd do that if some of the newer series blow up in the next two years and Shokugeki declines drastically.

Is SNS getting a 3rd season? I'm always hearing the Blue-ray and DVD sales are weak.

I hope Ashihara comprehends that he will not have the same treatment as Togashi. 2~3 months away will be limit before cutting him off.

That sucks, World Trigger's anime might also never return.
I am hoping Kimetsu no Yaiba, Clover, and Ghost Tits get an anime... and maybe Neverland.

Black Clover is 100% without a doubt getting an anime.
Yuna is selling well, so I'd say it's safe to say it'll get an anime in a year or 2.
I think Kimetsu No Yaiba is like at the 50/50 point. It's not completely safe from getting cut, but at the same time it's probably safe for at least the next several months.
However, with Jump giving it a few color pages recently and seemingly wanting it to succeed, I'm willing to bet it'll get one announced next fall.
I'd wait til we get 1st week numbers of Neverland before judging whether it had a definite safe spot

I think Yaiba is in a similar situation to Samon and Hinomaru. It won't be cancelled soon, but it's sales are terrible. It needs an anime to boost it's popularity, but it won't get one because it's not popular enough. And colour pages don't necessarily do anything, that list a few pages ago showed Hinomaru got more than most series in the magazine. Although, being a battle series, Yaiba has more chance of increasing in sales over time and it's probably more likely to be picked up as an anime. At least more so than the other two.

From what it seems, it looks to be slowly increasing each volume. And I think it's fairly obvious that Jump wants to keep both Samon and Kimetsu(for the time being). I think both will get anime announcements between Summer and Fall next year

souma droping out boot sales and ranking
manga is in danger .
Volume 21 is selling less than Volume 20 in ten days, but Volume 20 out sold 19.

The sales are steady, can we stop with this alarmist nonsense?

What a vicious cycle. I wonder the number of Jump series that showed promise but just couldnt make it due to either being too niche, like Sumou or just couldnt catch enough people's attention.

I think Samon has to reach at least Saiki level sales to get an anime, whether thats an ova or Tv short or a full series. Kimetsu is growing at a goo dpace so I dont really see any worry about that in terms of a TV anime. Sumou is the only odd one out to me. Its going on for over 2.5 years now and still isn't able to reach 50K in a week.

Ugh, can't do a clean side by side.

Mathematically, 19 sold 39,302 average during the first 7 days (by day 3 it would've sold 117,907). 21's first 3 days were 162,169.

The second ranking % differences for 19 and 21 are the same.

So 19 and 21 seem to be in the same ballpark while 20 was an increase.

Overall with all the volumes past the first season bump, it's still steady.

For real, they should move Ashihara to a monthly magazine. They moved Katsura Hoshino, heck they even give her her own magazine when she return. Of course WT is no where the same level as D.Gray Man, but still your employee health come first.

Beet the Vandel Buster was on a hiatus for 10 years so I hope Shuiesha doesn't cut Ashihara off.

I keep asking but does anyone have merchandise figures for SnS? I want to see a year by year comparison.

Season 3 is looking unlikely
Anime sales have always been pretty bad for SnS. Vol. 1 comparisons
Shokugeki no Souma S1 Vol. 1 => 2479 copies
Shokugeki no Souma: Ni no Sara Vol. 2 => 858 copies

I enjoyed season 1 a lot and it was a really good adaptation. Season 2 just never did it for me despite it covering one of my fav. arcs in the series. It was handled so poorly.

WT anime could return. It is Toei after all so it won't be a problem for them to pump out more episodes. I'm not that knowledgeable of how the WT anime did success wise.

I'm assuming it did well since it got more episodes than the initial expectation.

Sales per day is a weak way of comparing volumes sales. It doesn't factor in that series lose their steam after a couple of days or in a week or two.

Your best bet is stack the monthly volume sales together and see how they do. Either way, it looks like to be a decline.

**,767 **,767 World Trigger Vol.1
So it did kind of/very poor. I recall hearing its ratings were decent though, but i dont know where to find info on that so dont quote me on it. At the end of the anime they said something in the ending segment teasing that it could come back. And im pretty sure I read in an interview somewhere that the developers were interested in doing so.

I dont really think it will come back, but this is Toei I guess. It wont for a while at least because the anime covered ~120 out of the current 164 chapters at a pace of roughly 2 per chapter. Toei wouldnt do it in a cour or two either, so it wont be anytime soon.
