Yes! Noelle vs Fana is indeed something quite a few people want. Even if it's short, I would like to see it. I just hope Fana lasts more then the next 5 chapters.

Also, it's obvious. Asta has always had an OP weapon on hand. Just depended on how he utilized it.

i think a fana vs noelle fight is legit because noelle i think will also have a water spirit a powerful one to counter her fire salamander.
what is asta's finishing move here's what i think
we have one huge sword which can cut and deflect and we have one sword which absorbs the flame. in the past he rotated himself
so it's possible he'll absorb the flame in one sword and maybe deflect half the flame in the other sword and then somehow by connecting the pommels of the two sword he will enhance and strengthen the flame in the absorbing sword and smash it right back at her and she'll fall unconscious and be defeated and the witch queen will come to pick up the garbage left behind

- Vanessa's thread magic is rendered useless as Fana's fire just burns it away, she mentions the power of the spirits is like the 'incarnation of god'
- Noelle comes in and protects them with her 'Naga's Craddle'
- Just as they established Noelle's magic could win against Fana's fire, the water begins to evaporate
- She remembers her siblings words about being 'defective'. She hears someone tell her she's strong, it's Asta
- Just as another attack from Fana/Salamander is about to happen; Noelle uses her 'Naga's Canon'; which is dodged (but it seems that Noelle was able to change the course of her magic?)
- Fana falls to the ground (I believe Salamander is down - you go Noelle!!) and she glares at Noelle saying she'll never be forgiven

damn noelle did fight and finished the dragon in one shot
well asta may not know it but there's a new sorcery emperor/empress in contention right now noelle has the power and mana level to probably fight the current sorcery emperor blow to blow if it wasn't for her inability to control her own large reserve of mana
now if she learns more refinement she's a dangerous powerhouse and contender for the title
I mean silver noelle's oldest brother had so much trouble fighting the crazy fire girl yet noelle did it using one offensive spell and murdeured the dragon she's way stronger then even her own older brother and its kill potential is ridiculously OP

i like this girl she's strong and powerful

Nozel didn't have a hard time- though that being mentioned, Fana seems to be the weakest of the 3 - unfortunately we don't know about Liar, but I can assume he would be the toughest to deal with. Back to Nozel, he didn't fight Fana for long - neither were injured after their 'fight' so it wasn't one-sided. We didn't even see much of it so nothing could be said about it to be honest.

But - I agree... Noelle was so badass, I look forward to more of what she can do this arc. (Where is the QW though... just sitting back and watching?)

if we take the female captains words to be true at that last arc and the fact that the captains were being pushed to go all out it's possible to say noelle is definitely above captain class my point is she is the only female i see as contender for asta to be sorcery emperor she's got enough power and mana the same technique ripped vetto in half and took down fana's salamander which was a baby last time proving she's emperor material.

now if fana is out of the picture then the diamond kingdom is likely going to be dealt with the Queen Witch and maybe we will learn a bit more about asta's grimiore and swords how she knows about it is weird. also noelle i feel will get a water spirit as this place every female has a spirit so it won't be surprising if she gets a fish or something as a mana pet to further evolve her magic

Noelle getting the water elemental spirit would make her too op. Her water attacks and defence is already strong as it is. Her Naga cannon is the strongest attack seen so far after Julius magic beams and she still has a lot to improve.

I used to think her getting a spirit was a good idea; but that was before we saw her against Vetto. I don't want people to go 'she's only this strong because she has a spirit' somewhere down the line, despite what we've been seeing of her lately. Though - there have been quite a few attacks we've seen that could probably rival her 'Naga's Canon'. Examples being; Yami's Dimension Slicer, Vetto's Demon Spell, Fana's Salamander Breath, Licht's Judgement Canon, etc.

Yh,but it may be necessary for her to get the water spirit in the future to truly be equal to aster and yuno by then,cause i doubt she could match up with yuno when's he's fully mastered his 4 clover grimoire and sylph, and asta when he's unlocked the secrets and mastered his anti-magic grimoire,

Again, I don't think it's absolutely necessary for her to get it. She's only got 2 spells, she's learnt to control one of them - but she has limits to Naga's Canon as mentioned in the new chapter, she can only use it once (it took on and possibly defeated an Elemental Spirit too, that's amazing!!) She just needs to learn more control and mentally grow to get more spells and once she's got that I can see her being something amazing. She doesn't necessarily need to match up Yuno and Asta; Yuno is a genius in his own right - so when he and Sylph have gotten stronger I can see him being fairly powerful. Asta still has such a long way to go, not sure how he's gonna get better at this point; but we'll see. They'd make an interesting trio though.

as a function of time she will need a water spirit. yuno got a wind spirit and asta kind of has a spirit too the weird bird so its possible to say that yes noelle needs a spirit to be in top emperor contention and she's proven she's powerful enough to have and handle a spirit.

my understanding is that a spirit only goes to a very very strong fighters otherwise her brother and leon would have spirits who don't so that means that there not as powerful as they claim. the amount of power naga cannon had was able to rip and KO And mutilate a dragon something her own brother silver couldn't do or touch when it was a tiny gecko lizard

It was a terrible and shitty move of the author not to introduce these seemingly important characters properly through the manga, but via some novel. Because of that I don't give a flying crap about any of these guys, except Mars. Can't wait to see Aster and the rest. Until then.. I am just annoyed by the fact that these guys suck up all the air.

I knew it was a bad idea for them to be introduced like that. I have yet to see anyone not from the JP fandom to be happy/pleased with this.

But I personally wouldn't say they are just stealing the spotlight and want it to be over and done with. I like these characters but definitely not as much as I could, I am not attached to them as we don't know much about them. The effect of what's happening is lost on us.

Fana is still very much alive - only Salamander was defeated. So for now I assume their fight isn't over.

Am I the only one who was very disappointed with the last chapter, the Diamond guys saying that crap at the end was not how his character was shown to us before, this manga is slowly starting to bore me!
