For me Dimaria is a great character, it is obvious that due to time and plot issues I would not have such a great participation.

But to my personal point of view, it is a character that could even have an own bow or an excellent Spin Off.

I do not know, her power seems to me to be the most broken of fiction and has really few weaknesses, which makes her a more complete character in power than many others.

I would like to see her participate in more sagas and see their background.

I was sorta joking with my post towards you cause I obviously can tell you're an Irene/Erza fan from your posts I've seen so it was entertaining to mess with your stance since you have no issue with Irene compared DiMaria. What you brought up just isn't debatable until we know more of Dimaria, so I was enlightening you on that.

Dimaria is basically a war goddess. I don't think she's ever been defeated in battle before now. She's the vessel of a God, which in itself makes her very unique. She's definitely in the top 5 Spriggans. What's seen as "generic" is merely confidence in her own skill, she's not one for false modesty which I like quite a lot. She's done a complete 180 now after being defeated and is much more serious. Sure she's tied to Brandish, but Brandish is only relevant because she's tied to Lucy. Both are powerful mages but if you're not Fairy Tail or tied in some way to a Fairy Tail mage then you're bound to fade into the background eventually.

As for not "having anything" you need to consider who she's been up against. In all her "partial fights" such as when she faced Kagura, she clearly had the upper hand before they retreated. She met her perfect counter in the Wendy/Sherria/Ultear fight, then was unfortunate to capture Natsu and Lucy, only to come up against partial END. Only the to 3 Spriggan will really have an overall effect I think. And one has already fallen. So holding this against Dimaria is a bit harsh.

Nothing that puts you as a good character in technical terms. Everything she currently has, places her with a middle character (and I'm leveling for fairy tail, even the principals have poor development)
She is god of war, cool. And so? All you can do is assume that it will be crafted because it is a shell of a god, just like I said, that it could be development with flashbacks of brandish / would-be friendliness explaining why such an obsession.
Are things that improve the character, BUT NOT HAPPENED. It's just guess.

I am analyzing the character in its pure essence. Not based on what she could be the author to work on.
And she is a villain with a villainous villainous personality, with beauty (which is not merit, since all are beautiful) and a good magic (ours is strong, cool)
Taxing a character who only has this as a good character, is a lack of daily Reading.

I'll start using your argument.
Our, bradman is a great character ... he has a cool personality and does not measure efforts to annihilate with the enemy ... besides having a badass appearance and his ops spells.
He is a demon that uses all the curses ... Zeref created it? Or did a human absorb the curses and become that creature? (Saw, I'm picking up a trait of the character and guessing how the author could work it.

I don't think a flashback of a relationship is particularly necessary to justify why it exists. I'll draw an example from a previous arc. Remember Tartaros? Two of the Nine Demon Gates, Kyouka and Sayla, were in a lesbian relationship, as shown by this panel.

There was no given reason for why these 2 were in a lesbian relationship, and no one complained about it. Why is it an issue when it happens again in this arc with Dimaria and Brandish? They've been comrades in arms for a while as part of the Spriggan 12, I think that's all the explanation needed here honestly.
As long as it works and fits into the narrative, I think it's not much of an issue.

I'm not gonna argue with the awards, I can see why people like her. I'm not gonna criticise DiMara any more than I have, I like her, but to a point. She's done nothing above general smack talk as a villain. I like her more as someone humble after END rolled her. I am the same with Irene... I love her hair and front flap, but I'm not going to write to mum over it. She needs more.

It's actually difficult to hold swords in that fashion.Dimaria you are great.




And seeing the force created in that page it seemed Dimaria hit the Archenemy with huge power.She has great physical strength to carry such a huge sword with one hand.

I meant to bring this up a while ago that I think that Take Over Mages who use Dragon Soul Take Over (when that is a thing), Satan Soul Take Over, and God Soul Take Over can use the powers of the entities that they take over when their not in their Take Over form. Which was seen with Mira when she used take over on Seilah's Macro curse and then ordered Elfman which was before she took over Seilah's body and when Dimaria used Age Seal when she wasn't in her Chronos form.

I am kind of late, but i am a huge fan of Dimaria as a whole.
Her take over form is incredible to see (i wish we got to see more of her) and i wanted to see more of her power.
I also wish Her and Mirajane fought, God soul vs Satan soul wouldve been amazing.
Im glad that she wasnt killed off and shes with brandish.
I hope they have more roles in this arc i hope this recent chapter wasnt the end to their story.
Considering that Brandish loves August, i think she will get back into the fight if (when) he is almost defeated, with help from Demaria. It would be amazing to see.

Considering that Dimaria is the user of the God Soul, is this the strongest "soul" or take over magic? Or is there something stronger?
Or does Mirajane have the potential to reach her strength with the Satan Soul

The reason being she was much more relaxed in this outfit. I preferred cool Dimaria that made fun of Brandish as opposed to how serious/scared she got afterwards.
