- His editor is Monji (Boku no Hero Academia and Demon's Plan)
-Saeki Shun is his closest mangaka friend in Jump
I would like a Tosh and Ryuhei team when they finish Shokugeki and Hungry Mary.
Tsukuda can return with Hirakei , some rookie or doing him the art

Not sure if there's a scanlated version of this romcom ecchi, Nisekoi + Yuuna fusion wannabe. But...

Will it canceled?
It's ecchi. Ofc it's bound to be cancelled. Look at Yuuna-san.

OH WAIT.

While Amazon by itself might not have a lot of significance in the overall picture of sales, Heroaca's digital volume going to #1 in the first 3 days of its release is starting to become a pattern. Vol 11 also beat one piece vol 83 in the first three days. The physical copy however fluctuates around #10~#20. Does anyone know if a digital volume in the book, not kindle but actual book ranking, counts towards the oricon sales? I know Oricon does include Amazon.jp in its POS but this is more of a strange case. Kindle sales are strictly speaking are counted as digital sales, which are rising in Japan in the past years but here a digital volume is outselling physical volumes.

Digital sales of Hero academia should be around 200-300k per volume.

So do digital sales not count towards overall sales?

Usually the numbers that get advertised are just copies in print, which doesn't even mean they've sold that many physical, just that they've printed them. I don't think many digital stores give out their sale numbers either so they're just not included in whatever report you're probably looking at.

Just seems like we'd get a more accurate representation of how popular a series is with digital number included. For most charts here, in literature, music, ect, digital and physical sales are combined

The problem is you're expecting the way Japanese companies do business to make sense.

they can't stick him anywhere

you must submit your manuscript to the editorial department of a magazine if you want to be published in it

this is his own choice

and kodomo have some great manga
Doraemon, Dash Yonkuro, Megaman.exe, Pokemon Special, Racing Brothers, Dodge Danpei, Grander Musashi, Rock Lee SD

don't be quick to judge it

Yeah... For somebody used to sell millions of copies, had an anime, fight side to side (with its previous series) with some of the biggest manga of all time... To be reduced to Saikyou... An irrelevant magazine compared to pretty much any other that shueisha publishes printed or not (yeah it's even more irrelevant than JUMP+ since it survives of spin offs of shunkan's major series, not new series).

You can't blame us for being quick about judging that. There's no way this is good for him.

Pretty much Toriko cancelation sealed his fate as mangaka and this sucks. Toriko was a FINE series. WAY (and I mean WAY) better than pretty much all the shit that are still being published like Saiki, Samon-kun, etc, etc.

Physical volumes bought from Amazon! How many people in Japan by manga volumes from Amazon instead of stores right in the corner?

You're assuming this is the only magazine he submitted his work to. In all likelihood, this is the only one that accepted his work.

Or you know his new series is specifically targeted at kids! Who could have guessed about that?
