This. Iida has been forgotten too. Hori should stop introducing new characters and start focusing in the current ones.
Exactly what do you want to see more of? More school shenanigans with class 1-A? Class 1-B having more of a role? A joint training exercise with all Hero class first years? More focus on Villains?

Class 1-A, whether we like it or not, has people that just do not matter. Some of the characters were created to round out the class to a full 20 people. Since he cannot just leave them as is, Horikoshi gives a little spotlight here and there but to Deku's development, they might not be relevant at all. Class 1-B might just be there to show that there isn't just one Hero class of first years in UA. One Piece introduced a mountain of characters in Dressrosa and only a handful of them even had focus, the rest having minor roles to move the story forward for the Straw Hats. Personally, Heroaca hans't really introduced a lot of characters this past few arcs at all. Very few of the characters have had relevance and the rest were there just to full out the exam. People talk about Ashido having a spotlight and are expecting a huge arc dedicated to her. It might be possible that Horikoshi, when he said he would give her more of a spotlight, meant that she would show up in more panels. Characters do not need whole arcs to be fleshed out. Small interactions are enough to get to know more of a character.

Honestly, the onslaught of perpetually misinformed (being nice) and immature new members has made it hard for me to want to keep posting.
This was my favorite forum and thread because outside of a few outliers we all knew were jokes, we were a community that was passionate and informed about Shueshia. Many of us working directly within Edited Manga.

Now it feels like I'm in /r/manga a lot of the time and I don't want this place to feel like that.

I know it's still early on in in it's story but do you guys think that Promise Neverland will be a long running series or be like Death Note a short-ish series that will leave a mark on all anime/manga fans?

I like Ochako. She's cool but I kinda didn't like how she was way too concerned with her feelings towards Deku during the save the civilian trial part of the provisional exam. It took up way too much panels and idk, kinda doesn't do her character good. But to be honest she's a girl first and foremost, it's actually pretty realistic what she's going through. Just hope it won't be like every single time she gets screen time it revolves around Deku. I don't want her to go down the Sakura path.

On the side, Deku's harem is lowkey growing. He has Ochako, Toga, shapeshifter, maybe Tsuyu. I have no qualms with that at all.

I'm okay with Ochako contemplating how she feels about Deku, but it seems a little to soon for her to be giving deep thought into it like she has been recently though that could just be me

Depends on how the world is outside of the house. If it follows my hypothesis of it becoming a hardcore battle series with awakening abilities and weapons, then I think it will be along running series.

I felt it was a little forced in the Provisional License Exam arc, however, at least Horikoshi is actually setting her romantic feelings up. It'll be interesting though because Izuku doesn't really pay attention to any of the girls in that way.

Idk but I predict it'll be longer than Death Note at least.
We can't make a full predictions until we get more world building an a view of the outside world though

True, it's nothing wrong with the development being in there but it did seem forced in how much panel time it was taking up. The Sakura comparisons are too harsh and early. But Momo is best girl overall and Ochako isn't there at her status.

There's literally no way Deku will end up with anyone other than Ochako at the end of the series

I know thats a come trope among shonen MC but at least Horikoshi does a good job in making less noticeable that Ochako has some kind of feelings for Deku unlike certain other series who do nothing but flood you with it outright all the time. *cough Sakura cough Hinata cough*

The online manga store Honya Club has asked 1094 bookstore workers in Japan which mangas do they recommend reading in 2017. In addition to being an important list, since it is a "on-street" survey, it is important for the rest of the countries looking closely at which mangas are sold in Japan to be able to export them to their respective countries. These results were as follows:
01. Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san - Souichirou Yamamoto
02. Shinya no Damekoi Zukan - Ira Ozaki
03. Doukyonin wa Hiza, Tokidoki, Atama no Ue. - Tsunami Minatsuki and As Futatsuya
04. Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai-Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunou Sen - Aka Akasaka
05. Platinum End - Tsugumi Ohba y Takeshi Obata

06. Watashi no Shonen - Hitomi Takano
07. The Case Study of Vanitas - Jun Mochizuki
08. Hataraku Saibou! - Akane Shimizu
09. Otaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii - Fujita
10. Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare - Io Sakisaka
11. Toumei na Yurikago - Bakka Okita
12. Gaikotsu Shoten-in Honda-san - Honda
13. Fire Force - Atsushi Ohkubo
14. Kimetsu no Yaiba - Koyoharu Gotouge
15. Fire Punch - Tatsuki Fujimoto
