he SHOULD be able to make weakness bots in this battle. you have to keep in mind that Wall's magic is Weakness. he can scan people's weakness and use them against them.

if his fodder can make them then Wall, who crated proxy who creates Weakness, should be able to make them.

he did scan Laxus but Laxus was sick as hell so it was not necessary.

For all we know? For all we know Alegria doesn't have feats of one shotting a Spriggan before he can clap his hands.

Jacob being one of the best Spriggans in CQC doesn't mean much. He might be better than Irene in CQC, doesn't mean he's any close to her overall.

You seem to assume that Mira was unfavored because she was exhausted, well this only goes to show that her endurance is extremely lackluster compared to others that also fought and received damage. If she couldn't even manage to go into any other TakeOver than Satan Soul, that's a negative point for her in my eyes.

Neither of them used the powers that makes them strong. Jacob didnt use transport? Mira didnt use Alegria either. That is why i was considering hand to hand combat in which Jacob apparently excels than any other spriggans. (also that was the only thing which was shown) And saying that she didnt use her stronger forms to defeat her opponent doesnt mean that its a -ve point,it may very well also mean that even her weaker forms of magics were strong enough to take him down.

Since he has "weakness" magic, I would give the benefit to Wahl and he has firepower too. And if Mira's Satan Soul Alegria won't run out immediately. It might pushed to the high-extreme diff but still leaning towards Wahl.

Mirajane vs Jacob is nuts. Wherein Mira has disadvantages at MP and her injury. Well Brandish may have shrink her wound but that doesn't mean it healed her immediately. And Jacob too for having his eyes closed.

Anyhow. Unless Mirajane has now a new feat which is impossible since she seems out of commission til then... I won't change my opinion

I agree with you dude. Jacob overpowered Lucy and Natsu in 1v2 in hand to had combat, he's excelling in this type of combat, and Mira was able to beat him at his own game. I don't disregard that.

What i meant earlier was only, Mira being exhausted at the begining of the fight isn't a nerf, that's Mira's own weakness that led to this. I don't consider this a nerf. I mean, it's her own stamina, not a nerf coming from an external source or somethine like that.

I agree that, for something heavily relying on MP to use TakeOvers, Mira being low on MP was a big deal. (though i believe Jacob's disadvantage was even huger). So yeah, i agree, had she been in perfect shape she would have won easier, more convincingly with Alegria or something else.
But that didn't happen, because of her mediocre stamina.

It's not like Natsu being "nerfed" by not wanting to damage the guild hall, or Erza being nerfed by Marin preventing her from using her magic. Mira's nerf was her very own weakness...
It is also my belief that, if Erza had fought Jacob instead of Irene, (so just replace Mira with Erza), Erza wouldn't have struggled nearly as much as Mira did against an opponent who was fighting with no hax and no vision. Basically, Mira can be pretty good with the right TakeOvers, but Alegria was shown to last a very very little time before running out of MP. Without powerful TO, this is the kind of result we have: an extreme diff against an opponent that, imo, was not AT ALL Spriggan level if we remove his vision and his Transport.
Hence whhy i'm saying: Mira's performance was mediocre, despite being a win. That's because of her being low on MP i agree, but that's her own fault: mediocre stamina.

Jacob excels in H2H combat but anyone can attack him while his eyes are closed.

If he can't see he can't hit you. He isn't going to be at his best in CQC with his eyes closed. Even if you want to argue he used his Stealth magic it doesn't matter because he still wouldn't be able to use it to its best ability with his eyes closed. He still would have had a hard time attacking Mirajane because he can't see to hit her or where his is moving considering he is unfamiliar with the area. We know for a fact he didn't use his transport clearly.



As far as this thread is concerned I say Whal low diffs Mirajane.

I agree with u takuan but I guess it's about time all of us stop saying that Jacob was nerfed just coz he closed his eyes, cuz in the end it was his OWN choice hence his OWN weakness. All it takes for him to defeat ANYONE is clap his hands (admit it, too much hax) so its acceptable to say that his Virgin eyes was decided by hiro to give him a legit weakness.
Just like takuan said, everyone is fighting in the war and yeah its not okay for me to use Mira's exhaustabilty as an excuse but that dude's Virgin eyes weren't any different either, cuz he did that upon himself and that's why it's a legit Drawback
He lost the fight because of his own weakness. Nothing more nothing less.

She betrayed the empire who brought her up when her mother died. If not for Alvarez she probably wouldn't be alive today or would be begging on the streets.
