While I think the optimism for Galaxy Gangs to be serialised is a bit over-the-top... it's not nearly mentioned as much as you say it is. I will say that the comparison between it and people wanting the Bleach anime back is fair enough. But again, it's not really a problem in the grand scheme of things.

To said the thing that you wish as an optimism but the thing that he wish as something idoitic is quite hypocritical.

The issue was and is "people" keep repeating about the serialization of Galaxy Gangs almost every weeks since last year to the point its feels annoying and unbearable. Like we get it you think Galaxy Gangs is the best one-shot ever written or something like that, but keep repating it here won't make your wish come true. Seriously, why he need to serialize Galaxy Gangs if he can come-up with a better series and better use of his potential?
Stop with the exaggeration. It's not posted every week, it's a fun meme. Dude once again, you not liking the one shot is your opinion and not a fact. If he puts the series out your not obliged to read it

to show Deku breaking his bones.
The battle against Todoroki will be painful to watch.
I get the feeling that fight will be dragged out which isn't a bad thing it felt to fast in the manga

My Hero Academia Season 2 New PV :
I personally like this opening song much more than the previous one. Looking at it from an animation standpoint, just from this PV, the overall quality of the series will likely, hopefully, be at a higher level than the first season. Its also noteworthy that the timeslot hasn't announced anything new to premier other than Heroaca so we can be hopeful for at least 2 cours which is honestly needed at this point for the series's longevity as an anime. Only airing one cour a year doesn't really give as much exposure as in this age, unless a series is already established from a while back, becoming a huge selling franchise is very difficult. You need to make sure that as many people as possible see it and also spark an interest in said series. Two-cours will give it this needed exposure, even more so as this time slot has a higher viewership than Nichigo. Heroaca, while having short arcs, still builds up to a climax like how the Stain fight was an almost perfect peak to showing Deku's and Todoroki's development from the Sports festival. If you do it in 1 cour stretches, they'll either stretch out parts or rush parts and in season 1's case, they stretched it out and as a result, Deku's crybaby aspect was exaggerated. Its only for a few panels in the manga so you don't really feel it as much but once you spend a good amount of the episode showing the MC crying, it really turns away some people. If you read the manga then its more bearable as you know what's to come but anime-only watchers wont really feel like staying along, and have no obligation to stay.

Not a huge fan of the OP so far(obviously I need visuals too), but.... Fuck. Yes. They've already shown more than they ever did for S1. Not to mention it all looks great.
Personally, I like this opening better than the last one. Hope the visual direction lives up to it.

Bones is pushing it. They're doing Kekkai Sensen S2 and MHA S2 next season. Kekkai Sensen has impressive art/animation too but I think Bones will mess up Kekkai Sensen since they're prob. overly confident with how it'll sell based on it's huge success from season 1.

Maybe I'm underestimating them but regardless Academia S2 looks very promising.
I think the strategy kinda makes sense. HeroAca's last season had such weak momentum going for it, so them putting 80% or something of their resources on it is understandable. And if we do get season 3, you can bet Bones will probably put all of their money in the 2nd half of the season.

It is hard to judge with all the characters yelling over the music, but I think the first one is better based on what I could listen. The first all has such a good vibe and lyrics.

Academia's OP 1 wasn't that great. The ED was a lot better IMO. I'm pretty sure I'll like this new opening more.

The first OP had a good song, but the visuals were kinda meh to me. Same goes for the ED. I expect the visuals of the 2nd OP to be a lot better. As I've probably said too many times, they have probably been putting way more resources into MHA this time around.

I hope it'll be a high increase in sales, realistically the likely hood of that level of increase is minimal at best. A closer to reasonable estimation would be about the same as S1 or just slightly more.

While I expect it to be around the same as last time, BD/DVD sales aren't as important for evening anime as are for late-night anime which air on select channels. Ad revenue will probably bring in more than the BDs.

Normally a 2nd season sells around 20 to 50 percent less than the 1st season.

So I think it will do something around that.

I think ratings would be a lot more important over sales, its pretty much what the producer was aiming for given that its airing before Detective Conan.

While not a bad idea to air it before one of Japans longest running animes with the ratings it had for S1 before the move it's not likely going to improve it's ratings, but it's not impossible

The timeslot its set to air in regularly shows up in the top 10 weekly tv rating ranking chart. Time Bokan 24 has consistently pulled in ratings around 4.0%, sometimes going to the 5.0% range. Ace Attorney also pulled in ratings consistently in this range despite that first episode which had an unfinished opening sequence ( it was choppy in the first episode and smooth for later episodes). Kindaichi R was above Dragon ball super during its run and Magic Kaito 1412 was almost always around 7.0% in ratings. Even Denpa Kyoushi which had almost no manga boost and only had TV ratings going for it pulled in ratings in the 6.0% range. The average viewership is completely different and at the least, ratings is the one thing going for this slot.

Right. I hope it makes the top 10 TV rankings.
