The timeslot its set to air in regularly shows up in the top 10 weekly tv rating ranking chart. Time Bokan 24 has consistently pulled in ratings around 4.0%, sometimes going to the 5.0% range. Ace Attorney also pulled in ratings consistently in this range despite that first episode which had an unfinished opening sequence ( it was choppy in the first episode and smooth for later episodes). Kindaichi R was above Dragon ball super during its run and Magic Kaito 1412 was almost always around 7.0% in ratings. Even Denpa Kyoushi which had almost no manga boost and only had TV ratings going for it pulled in ratings in the 6.0% range. The average viewership is completely different and at the least, ratings is the one thing going for this slot.

I realized that, hence why I said it's not a bad idea to air before Detective Conan, thats why it has the potential to do better then last season

I don't remember the actual ratings of Denpa Kyoushi, when did appear in the Top 10 TV ratings, but the truth is that most time it didn't even appeared. People aren't taking this in consideration, but it is a possibility that My Hero Academia ends up being a flop even in that Timeslot, TV Ratings wise. Is not like it is the first time.

I don't remember the actual ratings of Denpa Kyoushi, when did appear in the Top 10 TV ratings, but the truth is that most time it didn't even appeared. People aren't taking this in consideration, but it is a possibility that My Hero Academia ends up being a flop even in that Timeslot, TV Ratings wise. Is not like it is the first time.

I won't deny that Heroaca will not flop. Denpa Kyoushi, considered to a be a flop however did peak at 6.7%, granted it was its first episode so that is not a good marker but nevertheless, the timeslot itself is one that pulls in ratings. Its for this reason and also looking at Space Brothers' sales, which back in 2011, pre-anime, sold around 100K in the first week was able to peak in 2014, soon after the anime ended, with a print number of 507K and sell 270K first week, that I think that the possibility that a considerable boost in manga volume sales isn't out of the question.

Heroaca moved from MBS to NTV, a move without precedent in evening anime. Even Haikyuu still has MBS in its production commitee despite moving to late night. They removed all traces of MBS in this second re-airing on MANPA and from the official website.

It's put at the back every week on purpose so the magazine will end on a funny note. Getting that treatment is actually a sign that it's doing pretty well, the last series to get it was Jaguar.

It's not ranked. Gets the same treatment as Jaguar which was a gag manga that ran at the end of the mag.

Old Seikimatsu Leader den Takeshi! Popularity Poll

Something funny to note about one of the popularity polls (I think this one of the first popularity polls given his poll rating #).

Another of Takeshi’s friends is “Shimabu,” short for Shimabukuro Mitsutoshi, the mangaka himself. Initially, he appears in the page margins to explain everybody’s otherwise unexplainable superpowers. Later on his role is greatly expanded, to the point where entire chapters are centered around him, including a short arc in which he is unable to complete his latest chapter, due to Takeshi and the others disappearing. On a side note, he placed first in the manga’s popularity poll.
