As much as i love Mira, Hiro trashed her way too much. Her feats currently are mediocre, and she doesn't deserve top 5. That's sad but this is what it is.
I'm expecting and hoping to see Sting next. Jellal also has crappy feats, just like Mira, but i can't imagine him being lower than Sting.
Please Sting, come out next.

I am not surprised. In fact Mira having made it to top 10 is achievement just like Kagura. It means most people acknowledge her strength. Actually I gave Mira, Kagura, and Sting the same score so if Sting comes out next..............................
Not really. All 3 of them could arguably oneshot Jacob before he's had the time to clap. Even Mirajane can probably blitz Jacob before he claps. She just can't oneshot him.
Either way, WSD Sting was more impressive than Mirajane. We're not ranking base Sting here, so pretty much everything before he obtained WSD is irrelevant. Kagura only helped in the sense that she help teach Sting how to enter his shadows. Now that Sting can knows how to enter his shadows, a rematch between him and Larcade can only go smoother because he now has a counter for RIP. On the other hand, a rematch between Mirajane and Jacob can only be more difficult if Jacob simply... opens his eyes.

Her disadvantage was way bigger. You actually think a guy who is acclaimed to be the best Assassin and the only one noted for his CQC would be hinder by a lack of eyesight? Erza beat up Kyouka with zero senses so the whole eyesight thing is a pretty weak argument. A weaken Mira beat Jacob one on one there's no way she should've been given a five. You didn't even give Kagura five and she had been humiliated by S12 twice. She doesn't even have feats to beat an H12 let alone a S12 yet you give Mira a five despite actually having a feat of beating a S12 one on one? Wut??? Mira in no soul would smash Kagura so how did you rank Kagura on a higher number?

Alegria is league of above a weaken BSS so how wouldn't she oneshot when she beat him in her weakest soul while exhausted?
WSD is an external power up. He can't replicate that unless he eats Rogue's shadow. Sting needs help to beat a S12, Mira can one on one a S12 while exhausted.

To be fair, I gave my rank to Mirajane a couple of weeks before she actually beat Jacob. At that time, it was justified. Still, even after her victory against Jacob, I am not inclined to give her anything higher than a 7.
Jacob's CQC wasn't really that impressive, given that he couldn't even deal any serious injury to Lucy or Natsu. And yeah, closing your eyes is a pretty big disadvantage. Erza was able to beat Kyouka because she was that much stronger than Kyouka. Obviously she was still at a disadvantage.

Doesn't matter Rogue's power was just used to boost Sting regardless of amount. It was mostly a plot upgrade just like how Gajeel ate one move from Shadow Rogue and went from being smashed to smashing.

I considered Kagura holding out for as long as she did against Larcade to be more impressive than holding out indefinitely against Jacob, considering the power-gap between Mirajane and Jacob. Honestly, I simply put Mirajane in the same boat as Elfman (who at that time also didn't beat Ajeel).
Erza was still at a disadvantage without her eyesight. She was just that overwhelmingly more powerful than Kyouka that she won despite that disadvantage. The most you can say is that there isn't that huge of a power gap between Larcade and Jacob. Now what I don't buy is that Mirajane would be able to oneshot Jacob with Alegria. Mirajane hasn't shown the ability to oneshot any Spriggan 12 members yet, and clearly her performance against Jacob was not a oneshot.
Natsu was also impressed by Elfman when they were just throwing punches. I'm willing to grant that Jacob is probably skilled at martial arts, but the damage of his attacks aren't that impressive. Out of all the Spriggan 12, I think Jacob might actually have the lowest attack power. Natsu also wasn't going all out while within the guild. IMO, there's a pretty big difference between the type of attacks he used against Jacob and the one he used to knock out Neinhart. The type of attacks he used against Jacob were more similar to the ones he used against Bakyl, before the final hit.

Even if Alegria is leagues above BSS, it doesn't mean it's comparable to FDKM. Juliet and Heine are not Spriggans.
Sting has probably kept WSD. Until Sting shows WSD again, I'm simply judging him by what he's shown.
Again, Natsu was holding back against Jacob when they were in the guild hall. If he were holding back the same way against Larcade, he would probably get cut the same way Sting or Kagura were.
I think Mirajane being 9th is about right. Above Kagura is fine for me too even though I gave the same score... since I do believe they're around the same. I would give Mira the benefit of the doubt if I had to choose.
In my opinion the remaining 8 have are a step above. Not by too much, but at least enough to warrant a notable difference. Within that group of 8 there are a top group as well... lol.
A rematch with Jacob would also have Mirajane uninjured and with full MP, which would mean she wouldnt have to spend half the fight in her basically helpless human form.
I cannot bring myself to understanding why Mira is below Erza. I mean, Mashima gave Mira a lot of really awesome powers just to take all cool fights from her. Only impressive fight was vs Freed. Why, or cruel world, oh why???? Mira is so awesome. And yet all we got is Erza slashing Deus Sema with one hand and Mira not using any named spells during her shot matches. Pre tenrou timeskip fairy tail was the best part.
