Kind of hoping it's not Wendy has had so much dumped on her this arc already it is already ridiculous a fake death at the hands of Acologia would be just to much. If it's Gildartz then I kinda hope that it's a real death because him vanishing again after this point he might as well be. Cana seems logical but a little late at the two week mark after last chapter. The one that would be in deepest is if someone shows up to help Wendy and Erza and doesn't leave (looking at you Jellal & Cobra). But as long as it isn't Wendy's actual death or Jellal's I will be fine. Otherwise I might be taking a trip to Japan.

I don't see Wendy getting a fake death since Wendy already had a fake death during the Tartaros arc. I agree Cana getting a fake death is a little to late and since August told Gildarts he threaten to kill Cana so Gildarts will try to prevent August from killing Cana.

Take the blue exceed for instance.

Carla was used for Wendy's dragon force in tartaros and also Carla's fake death in the Dimaria for the sky girls to fight. Lector was used against Sting in Gmg. Fro's death triggers the shadows to take over Rogue. Pantherlily has never been used for Gajeel but Pantherlily was always portrayed as more of an adult warrior with an exceed form..... who Gajeel partners with as oppose to the other exceeds basically being raised by the dragon slayers.

Plus isn't Happy like 4th favorite character or something from one of the Japanese character polls a few years ago... we don't take notice of him cuz he's literally did nothing this arc.

Which is why I think it's more likely he will be the one killed.....

Cuz he's done nothing this arc except grab Natsu away from Zeref.

Plus Happy early this arc said he would do anything to protect Natsu. Foreshadowing he might try to grab END's book or maybe jump in front of a death blow for Natsu?

Well Pantherlily is a badass and he kick a lot ass when ass kicking needs to happen and Carla isn't useless like Happy is. Oh yeah Happy promised Natsu that he won't let Natsu in chapter 466 and the won't was in bold. So Happy's promise to Natsu that he won't let Natsu die might have might have foreshadowed Happy stealing the Book of END. Speaking of promises Makarov promised Team Natsu and the guild as a whole that he would protect them no matter what it takes, which might have foreshadowed Makarov sacrificing himself in chapter 447. And in chapters 491 and 502 Zera was able to keep her promises to Mavis since Zera asking the guild members to protect Mavis connects back to Zera promising to protect Mavis in Fairy Tail Zero chapter 5 and in chapter 502 Mavis saying to Zera that she would live forever within Mavis connects back to Mavis and Zera promising to friends forever in Fairy Tail Zero chapter 12.
