Horikoshi x Tabata is clearly the best combination.
Sorachi x SorachiWhat are two mangaka currently in WSJ that you guys would wanna see do an interview with the most?
I think mine would be the obvious; Horikoshi x Tabata.
Actually, this is true, Toriyama sent a letter to Kubo to encourage him.His last video talks about the upcoming interview. And in his video he says that before Bleach got serialized Akira Toriyama told Kubo that he loved the Bleach one shot and kept pushing Kubo to make t a full series and be successful in Jump.
Literally can't find a single source of this

I saw the video and there is one thing I'd like someone to confirm. He said that this interview is perfect because both Kubo and Matsui had conflicts with the editorial staff's influence and also Kubo was forced to rush his manga while Matsui ended his manga while the editors were forcing him to continue. Did any of that happen or is it Hanson's Alternative Shueisha Sources? His last video talks about the upcoming interview. It's interesting to notice that Jump will reach its 50th anniversary with a very fresh lineup. Currently, the only series left from the 2000s is Gintama, which will very probably end this year. So, if Sorachi doesn't stretch it more than expected, the magazine will complete 50 years in 2018 with just two very old series (One Piece and Hunter x Hunter) and all the other series will be six years old at most (the third oldest series would be Haikyuu, which started in 2012). I look forward to seeing it reach such an important landmark with a lineup formed almost entirely by a "new generation" of mangakas.everyone in the magazine now are new guys without that long of history

It's possible that Matsui's editor asked if there was a way to extend Assassination Classroom, but forcing him to continue sounds like a bit of an over exaggeration on his part. While on Kubo's side of things the only time I can actually say that the idea of the editors rushing him to finish was near the middle of the last arc where his ranks where so low that his volume sales probably weren't enough to save him from the chopping block though I'm sure that they respected him enough, considering that Bleach sold pretty well for a while, to allow him to actually write an ending instead of axing it out right like a lot of others series to get axed.I saw the video and there is one thing I'd like someone to confirm. Yeah but you know this Bleach wanker will blow it out of proportion.Actually, this is true, Toriyama sent a letter to Kubo to encourage him.
Yeah, I know that guy is an idiot, I was just providing the source to savethecat. I was a big Bleach fanboy myself, but even if I enjoyed it, since the end of the battle with Aizen the manga was crap.Yeah but you know this Bleach wanker will blow it out of proportion.
Cross technically isn't a one-time thing since it said Vol. 1 on it, they just haven't announced anything about actually making a second issue. Maybe they'll just forget about it.Jump Plus is their app
Jump Cross is a one time thing, it's supposed to a WSJ x Plus crossover magazine
Akamau and Next and Giga are the same thing, it's a bimonthly magazine and they publish oneshots in it, we don't now why do they keep changing the name but it's probably a publicity stunt to generate some hype and increase the sales
Didn't they start the anime like 200 episodes in? They should've started with episode 1.I wonder why One Piece is leaving Toonami

Probably a combination of both airing it on episode 196, which caused newcomers to be confused as to what the heck was going on, and that One Piece in of itself isn't as popular in the west as it is in japan this is only my assumptions though.I wonder why One Piece is leaving Toonami
He only redrew the first 3 volumes or rather a few select scenes until he got tired everything else is pretty much the same so he gave up less than half way into it. Nowadays he's mostly doing character designs for shitty mobage adaptations with the most recent one Endride which also had our favorite one-hit wonder Watsuki doing it as well. BASTARD! just got another bunko release with new art covers and not much else and Ultra Jump is now just serializing old chapters of BASTARD in their magazine since its been six years since the last one. As recently as 2015 he came out in a interview that he may come back in the foreseeable future once he's done with his current load (which was Endride) to do another BASTARD doujin and then return to the manga but there's been no update since. And people think HxH fans have it bad.speaking of Bastard whatever happened with that?
last I've heard Hagiwara wanted to redraw everything from chapter 1
did he actually do that or did he get bored and gave up?
OP is popular in the west. It was just the best selling manga in france for 2016 and has been for the past few years and in other countries.Probably a combination of both airing it on episode 196, which caused newcomers to be confused as to what the heck was going on, and that One Piece in of itself isn't as popular in the west as it is in japan this is only my assumptions though.
