I think it's just that and a way to squeeze more money from fans... Like Dragon Ball Super. or any other "sequel".

Of course. I think fans need to realize series like Naruto, DB and OP are basically the Star Wars of anime. There's too much money in the franchises for companies that own them to truely let them end.
Even when the One Piece manga and anime ends, it's not REALLY going to end. We're likely getting some kind of sequel series from other creators or a spin off. Whether that happens imidiately or years down the line it'll happen.

I understand DBS is completely a cash grab, but as a fan of the franchise I still enjoy it.

Oda is iffy when it comes to spin off from other creators. He said it himself. Hence there are only 2 spinoffs in One Piece compare to Bleach, Naruto or non Jump Attack on Titans and Fairy Tail.

I still highly doubt doubt Shueisha or Toei will simply stop touching One Piece after the manga ends

Not that, there's a full proper Chopperman spin-off series that lasted 4-5 volumes. It was by the Shaman King guy's brother I think.

Honestly Mitsuki is more interesting than anyone in Team 7 off face value (literally and figuratively). Sarada would been a better main character than Boruto but I like how their team dynamic is set up. It's like Kishi really switched and combined roles which actually works great. Boruto following Shikamaru's path in wanting to be the Hokage's aid and Sasuke's path in terms of talent/finesse in jutsu as well as

Momoshiki giving him a curse mark so he's real life following the Sasuke route

Sarada glorifies Naruto, which means she'll eventually be the 8th (or 9th after Konohamaru) Hokage. She has the Sharingan and Sakura's charka control to make her super strong. That's Naruto and Sakura she's following. While Mitsuki is just sorta of is own originial character. I honestly can say Team Boruto > Team 7. From powers to personalities/endgame goals.

Honestly, I think the reason it's being removed is because One Piece had the lowest ratings on the block. That's combined with the fact that it's so long they would be stuck with a low rating show forever. I don't think it's the end of the One Piece English dub, but I don't think it'll return Toonami. When Tokyo Ghoul is done they'll probably replace it with another short anime like MHA, AoT Season 2, or Mob Psycho or something

But its undoubtly that OP is gonna get the whole "milking" process
i mean this is the biggest manga franchise were talking about. Naruto is at best 1/2 the size OP is as a franchise with not as big of a Universe OP has.
Yet it has numerous novels and spinoffs now.

There's certainly a lot more of One Piece's world to explore through spin-offs with the different seas and alternate routes along the grand line but I can't see the story of the Strawhats being able to be taken much further once they've found the title treasure and a sequel about their kids as pirates would just feel weird with this series.

I'm sure Toei will go for stories with new/alternate main characters eventually like with Saint Seiya but I don't know if there'll be much potential for a proper sequel series that's still about the current main crew like DB GT was.

I agree One Piece doesn't strike me as the kind of series that would go the whole "Kids of the Strawhats" as main characters spin-off. I could see the spin-off's going the route of either a prequel following Shanks/Roger (I'd prefer a Shanks one since we'll most likely get a pretty good look at Rogers journey near the end of One Piece), or maybe go through a marines journey.

That wont be much of a worry since I remember Oda stating that there won't relationships b/w the SH's. I think Luffy will be with Hancock but having a spin-off on their kids is dumb.

You can bet your ass Toei will milk OP till their company dies out. Probably reboot the series by giving it the Kai treatment or some shit.

Theres the white sea(sky) and Space. Luffys love is adventure like Gokus is fighting. They'll find something to make it happen.



And probably not make it about their kids but a new generation that sees them as idols or whatever and what to be like them. So they set sail on adventure

Plus i see OP ending like Toriko and Shima and Oda r very similar how they do things

I think Luffy's kid could work well though since, unlike Naruto and DB, in OP's universe more than one person can't have the same devil fruit. So they could give Luffy a kid that's completely different than him in personality, backstory and abilities

For example, there´s this poll from 2014 that Charapedia did, in the same category, where One Punch Man was 2nd. It got an anime in 2015. This doesn´t mean it will have it, but it could influence the decision to make it happen

Surprised to see promised neverland on the list so soon but not Kimetsu. I guess the more it stays "hidden" is better since I want there to be a lot of content to animate when the anime arrives.

I hope Sunrise or Production IG picks up Kimetsu.

As much I enjoy Sesuji, it will not happen. If it is still on going then it's a maybe. But now that it's completed, the chance is close to 0%

There is a really big difference between One Punch Man sales and Sesuji sales.

The list also has Psyren and Mx0, which I can't take it seriously.

What made me happy was Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san and Kono Oto Tomare position. Both would be beautiful as animes, in their own ways of course. I don't think it's impossible, principally for Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san.

Well Level E and Hatsukoi Limited can get an anime even though their sales is not that high, so Sesuji might have a chance.

Takagi-san will got an anime, I'm sure.
I'm just glad that many people want Yandere kanojo as an anime. That manga is awesome.
