To me it hurts quite a bit to see it like that, but definitely understandable. Considering the recent chapter's content, he had to halt all progression quite suddenly due to these ranks I guess. Wonder what 55 will get.

this is the first time that this happens, inb4 it jumps to the top 5 next week

Samon have been in the bottom three since its back to back cp

everyone is keeping an eye on Sumo's final match and forgetting this could be the next series to bite the dust

I really hope Spring Weapon won't failed and run for at least one year. Its obscure comedy reminds me of Sket Dance (out of 9 chapters that I've read so far). But sales and ranking are not in its favor at all

"We can't study" first ranking wasn't that surprising at least for me, still not sure about my feeling toward the series but at least it's more enjoyable than Marie, so I'm not complaining.
Next week is U19 first ranking.......

what if after this historic once in a life time, 6 new series, jump makes another 6 series round?

they can do it if they wanted too, (SW1, Samon, Sumo, Gintama, U19, Poro) all seem like a good candidates to end soon imo

it would make people lose their minds + keep the new series hype going + steal the spot light back from the other magazines that will try to do the same


yay or nay?

Well, it is the first ranking so nothing is guaranteed, but Nisekoi went through 5 years of "thrash, will be cancelled!" so we already know that the opinions here means zero, you cannot do anything.

Sure, they could create enough spots given the series currently in there.
There certainly seemed to be more hype surrounding these 6 serials over regular serialisation rounds. But the mangaka this time all had some hype around them anyway aside U19s, and i think that greatly contributed to part of the excitement. Unless they can get a similarly impressive lineup, I dont think theres much point, they should just do regular serial rounds.

I'd rather they go for small batches for a while, it's cool having 6 series in a row as a one time special thing but I feel like a second or third one would feel more like a dumb gimmick where each individual series gets less focus.

I guess it'll depend on how everything goes this time though, if they get 3-4 non-immmediate cancellations out of this no doubt they'll consider waiting a doing less frequent but bigger batches instead of lots of smaller ones.
