I know, I know... I'm kinda occupied lately. No worries, it's nothing major. And even today, I will have to take my leave soon. Just bear with me. I will reply as soon as possible. :darn

Nice set by the way. :blush

Yahari
It's certainly not easy to pick one out of those three, just little details which appeal to our personal preference more. I'm surprised that Yukinon was hated in S1. Just proves that people can't handle the truth. xD You brought up an interesting point though. I agree that she had great character development throughout the series, but I still ended up liking her in S1 more than in S2, even though the difference is just a little bit. Doesn't this contradict itself? Maybe the reason is that she lost some of her uniqueness? Dunno, it's kinda confusing thinking about it now. Anyway, she surely didn't cast off her behavior completely. It's as you said, watered down.

Did you read the novel? With whom do you think Hachiman will end up in the end?

Konosuba
Binge watching may be the reason for the jokes getting lame rather fast regarding. Still, I won't try S2 anytime soon. I'm good with my current four series. =)

Hibike
Thing is, she troubled the whole group during the most crucial and important time. She was aware of that. It was very selfish in my opinion, too selfish with too many people being affected negatively. Sure, it was a private and personal matter - more or less - and it's of no concern to the others if Asuka wants it so, but there is a point where you have to provide clarity in regards to your person. However, I don't deny that the Kumiko x Asuka moments were heartbreaking. :(

Anohana

I remember you saying something along the lines that Anohana is the most likely series (out of those you mentioned) I will drop. :lmao You sure know me pretty well, it's becoming scary...

Ajin
Wuaaatttt? S2 doesn't follow the manga? What about S1? That's a bummer, especially when someone like you says the manga is better. Don't know if I will read the manga, the anime is doing a good job so far. But the original story sure makes me curious, damn it! :/ I will pick it up when I'm bored...

Umineko
I will start with it this weekend. Be prepared!
No worries, I'm always bearing with you ;)

Thanks, the current Gintama anime inspired me :blush But it's way too long for you anyway, so no, don't take this as a hint :)

Yahari: I can actually see where those people cam from. There's something as saying the truth, and something that's behaving just like an asshole. Yukinon walked on a thin line there during S1, but I wasn't among the people who thought she's a bitch. Like always a good amount of people judge a book by it's cover way too soon. Anyway, I get your point with S2 Yukinon too. I guess she became more likeable but less unique? Then again one of Yahari's main themes is adapting to society and that it's something we all have to do in some way. Adapting while remaining true to yourself, I believe that's something Yukinon actually managed to do in S2.

Nope didn't read the novel, I think it's not anywhere fully translated anyway. I only followed a blog that compared the episodes to the corresponding novel chapters, that was quite interesting (they did cut a lot, though S1 did cut a lot more). As for who Hachiman will end up with... I feel like Yuigahama would be the obvious choice, but I'm not so sure.

KonoSuba: Sure, just saying. Season 2 is a damn lot of fun in my eyes, but there's no point in you picking it up at this point I guess.

Hibike: Well Asuka did behave like a bitch, no point in denying that, but I think she was always portrayed to have issues. The conclusion made more than up for it in my eyes.

AnoHana: It's rather easy to get a good grasp on someone's taste after a while, I have pride in being able to judge that rather well :3 Otherwise I wouldn't so easily recommend stuff :kappa

Ajin: S1 does follow the manga, though it cuts and changes content to some extent (though nothing that would make you not understand later parts). S2 goes completely anime original after a few episodes. Nothing more to come after this, they probably wanted to end the anime in a definite way. In the manga the conflict with Satou is far from being solved yet, and it goes in a completely different direction anyway. It has some really good parts, so pick it up in case you ever feel bored.

Umineko: Yay \o/

Uuuuooo it's here, Mahoutsukai no Yome anime confirmed for October 2017 :arf

On another bad note, Yamazaki is sick and thus there won't be a chap in April and May. I really hope it's nothing too serious and that she gets better soon :(

Do you know if the anime sticked to the novel? And how would you feel, if Hachiman ends up with Yukinon... or even Iroha?

I will consider it. If I happen to drop Kakegurui and there is no other manga which piques my interest, I may pick up Ajin. Satou and Kei are awesome after all. :3

That's amazing news. The first episode of the OVA was great, and I saw that the second episode was also released. Will watch it today or tomorrow. :zomg

I hope Yamazaki gets well soon. That's definitely a bummer. It's already hard for me to remember what happened in the previous chapter of a monthly series. This will do no better, but of course, health takes top priority.

It sticks to the novel, but it skips a lot of stuff. Like there's more about his Hachiman's sister, the fat chuuni guy (you know, he mostly appeared in S1 I believe) and Saki Kawasaki (who apparently has a lot of appearances in the novels but hardly appears in the anime). There's more stuff, but completely ignoring scenes from those three characters is one of the major complaints I've seen from people who read the novels. Still a faithful adaptation, but it seems they cut almost everything that isn't of high importance to the main plot.
And I think I could live with any of the girls. They all work well together with Hachiman in some way and they're all likeable, but I would still feel very sad for Yui :(

Sure, sounds good :3

Yeah, episode 2 is good stuff again. Small Chise is so adorable, damn her adoptive "parents"... looking forward to your thoughts :nod
I feel the same too often, 3 months without a chap is a damn long wait. Hoping she recovers swiftly, and that it's nothing too serious (though with skipping 2 months, it has to be rather serious :s).

The 2nd OVA of Mahou was adorable. It's a pity that we have to wait approx. 6 months for the next and last episode. I want to know what the library is about and what's "wrong" with Miura. Aside from his emotional outbursts, he seems to be a very nice guy. I liked his interactions with Chise a lot. It's always heartwarming to see someone treat Chise like a normal human being. Those adpotive parents are shit, do they have no sense of decency? Talking like she is some kind of space eating tool, ugh, they make me so furious. I could cuddle Chise 24/7. >.<
Regarding the end of the OVA, I thought the door was already open or was it our poor Chise who opened it? :(

Heaven's Feel looks great, hopefully not a GO First Order train wreck! Why does it say "trilogy trailer"? I thought it is one movie?

Don't like the Umineko track. :(

Well at least we can look forward to the anime, and that's going to be weekly :zomg Well I don't think Miura is a bad guy or anything like that, but I can almost see that Chise will blame herself for all that happened. No way this can end on a good note, otherwise we wouldn't end up with the first chapter of the manga. Maybe a bittersweet ending, but far from enough to help Chise in her current emotional state (though it was great to see how much Miura improved her condition just by being kind to Chise and taking her as she is). Honestly not sure what's up with the foster parents, it makes me sick. Sadly it's not that uncommon for people to take care of a child bc of a sense of obligation or something like that, but then they end up treating it like shit bc they don't really care. I guess it can end somewhat badly either way if the parents already have children, because of jealousy and the whole "you're not a real part of the family". It's ridiculous to us but children can be very cool, and some grown ups have a... number of problems.
Yeah Chise opened the door, she simply saw the back entrance (most likely was led their by these strange creatures) and didn't close the door behind her.

Funny how you said Grand Order and not UBW, considering your opinion about UBW :kappa But there's no way it could be a similar trainwreck, Grand Order simply had trouble to adapt the game properly (which is usually the most difficult to adapt I guess, considering you have to work around the game parts like just monster grinding and the likes). No excuse though, they did a bad job :XD And I guess you missed it, it's going to be three movies. Just one movie would've been beyondridiculous, really, like DEEN's UBW movie.

Haha I almost figured but it was worth a try :p
How about something else entirely:

How about something else entirely:

I don't think Miura is a bad guy either. But he apparently has some issues which will be hopefully explained in the last episode. Yeah, Chise will blame the incident on herself, she is that kind of character. Initially, I thought so too, but in retrospect I have to say that the doors should have been locked from the beginning.
Regarding the parentage, I can totally understand it is not easy to suddenly take in a child, especially if said child seems to have mental issues (from their pov). It's already plenty of work to raise your own children. Still not enough to treat an adpoted child like shit. Maybe it's just easier said than done, who knows.
Chise had several relatives, right? Like Rin from Usagi Drop? I just think that if those relatives would come together and discuss about "how could we afford Chise a normal life" rather than "who takes this thing right here, right now", they surely would be able to work something out. Because it totally feels like they tried to close such important topic and task as soon as possible.

The difference between GO/FO and UBW is as big as the difference between UBW and F/Zero. :3 It wouldn't be fair to name UBW in this case.
Three movies? So, they are going to end the route midway in the first and second movie?

Metal? No. =)

Well yeah, that was a big topic in ep2, no doubt they will address it during the last episode. Not sure if 25 minutes are enough for a satisfactory conclusion, but we will see.
As for Chise, ofc she's to blame in my eyes, but she's still a child and was in a panic bc she was going to lose the one place and one person who gave her salvation. Regarding a lock you have to wonder if either Miura just forgot to lock it, or if maybe that weird creature took care of that. After all unlocking something and entering are two differents things. To me Chise is mainly responsible for what happened, but it's hard to blame her.

Let's not forget that a kid is a lot of work, even more so if it's causing trouble (like Chise's "hallucinations"). If you barely know a kid, who is willing to take care of it. People are selfish, and while they might feel sorry, no one really wants the burden. That's how most people work. Honestly, if I was at a relatives funeral and they would ask who could take care of a child I barely know, I don't think I would just say "I can do it!". Yet you're socially pressed that "someone" takes care of it, bc that's what society expects. ( I could see accusations like "How can you guys be so cruel to not even adopt a relatives child?!!" easily).
It's a very awkward topic, bc everyone knows from a moral standpoint that they should take care of the child, yet no one really wants to bear the big burden. Hence why discussing the matter is even more awkward, it's hard to discuss something like this openly. Obviously we can say we might do better, maybe there are some kind and caring souls who actually feel or act differently, but it's not the norm. I can actually understand the various relatives to some extent. What I don't understand is how you can possibly treat a kid like that after you decided to take care of it.
I can see reasons, but it's totally beyond me bc I couldn't possibly treat a child like that.

lol not bad :3 You always remind me of that group of people who get mocked on the TM fansite. They're called Zerofags among other things. A shame I can't remember some of the more memorable jokes made there. I only vaguely remember when they made fun of someone on MAL who said Cu Chulainn is a cheap copy of Diarmud, only to be told that Fate/Zero actually came after Fate/Stay Night :lmao I don't usually like making fun of clueless people, but sometimes it's not so bad to feel like an elite :^)
That's what's going to happen, yes. Doesn't strike me as anything unusual xD

Okay, another try :D

Acnologia, Fairy Tail.

Thank god this award only covers the year 2016, because Hiro will surely trash him this year like he did with the other villains...
Remember this? @syx

Seems like Hiro has already started to troll Acnologia. :evil

Well, I guess we have to see the last ep. If an opened room can create chaos to such extent, and it was not locked by Miura, then I don't see any other than himself to blame. But who knows if an unknown third-party had a finger in the pie.
I absolutely agree with your points, as I said, it's definitely much easier to talk about such topic than to deal with it in reality. It's no way easy to raise a child, and I'm not saying someone has to step forward and take over this task asap. Awkward or not, adults should be able to openly discuss such topics and come to a - more or less - satisfying result. Meh, unpleasant topic.

I have nothing to say to you in regards to Fate. An UBW-fanboy calling himself an elite, I must be reading things. You go make your fun about the real Fate fans, I will stay silent, because confidence is silence, insecurities are loud. [Albert Kafka von Goethe, V2, §4, P.124, pci.987 - old Nasuverstament]

Bad track is bad, what the hell is going on with you?

In Acnologia's defence, he was up against ma boi Jellal, who on the other hand was in close proximity of Erza. Acnologia can't even imagine the sheer power Jellal gains under these circumstances. That's why he instinctively retreated out of fear and turned into his dragon mode. It's the basic survival instinct if you face your predator. But I must admit, the scene with Ichiya was obviously Hiro trashing on Acno.

Well tbh it being unlocked from the start sounds somewhat unlikely, especially because Miura was so seemingly careful about always closing the front door. Either it didn't need to be locked from the get-go (I actually forgot if the front door was unlocked from the start in EP1) because Miura is generally accepting of everyone visiting his library, or it got unlocked by this mysterious being. Who's at fault here exactly isn't really of big importance to, such things usually happen because of a string of multiple mishaps by multiple people. If the guy who made the following crucial mistake possible is to blame, or the person who commited the crucial mistake is like discussing if the chicken or egg came first :p In the end both are to blame.

Maybe they should, but people should be capable of many things, yet they often aren't. Like telling when a supposed "joke" hurts the feelings of someone else quite a bit. You know where I'm going with this I assume :)
Not sure who's supposed to be the UBW fanboy here, but okay, not a bad quote :awe

:gwah How dare you? Okay, let's just try something different:

I also can't remember whether the front door was locked or not. But there is one thing I'm sure of, that is if an opened door can create such mess, you would better lock or secure these doors for the sake of your life, library and visitors, no matter your kindhearted intentions. Granted we don't know what was going on in the library, and the third episode may give us a complete different view, but as it stands now, Miura is to blame in my opinion. :hmph

You got me there, again. Further proves my point, it's easier said than done. :darn

I'm proud of that quote, too. And I would be pissed, if you had continued the discussion. You know when to stop. :amuse

Hell yeah, you are back on track with that track, instant download! :zomg

With all the anime shit going on, did we ever talk about tv series? Do you actually watch and like them as much as animes? What are your favorite tv series?

Two votes for Acnologia and no one cares to explain. Such bias.

Gildarts is heavily underestimated here imo.

I disagree. While I do believe that Gildarts is a powerhouse, I doubt he could solo Acnologia. But with Zeref together, they might pull this off.

This is by far not a troll fantasy fight. Otherwise the staff would delete this thread, if this was the case. You are just an Acnologia fanboy who thinks he could one-shot anyone. But he could do shit against Jellal. Considering Gildarts is at the same level or even above Jellal, plus Zeref on his side, this will be by no means easy for Acnologia.

Well, lets be fair, Jellal blocking and pushing back Acnologia was pure Ship power and Plot armor. :hmph

Call it what you want. What matters in the end is that what happened, happened. Calling it ship power, plot armor, pis or nakama power is just a poor excuse for people who can't accept the truth. Fact is that Acnologia felt the necessity to dodge Jellal's barrage of attacks. We can conclude that Jellal has the means to hurt/injure Acnologia to some degree. Gildarts and Zeref have greater firepower than Jellal, thus making them legit contenders against Acnologia.
