Not really. You can buy more loot boxes for real monneyz, but it is still random what they drop. In game money can be used for skins though. But money is also a random drop from loot. You get money for duplicates though. So when you get that same stupid spray for 15th time, atleast there is some use for that.

I hate that, Dota went over to that "income strategy" a few years ago too. Before then you could buy whatever set you want for money, but then it became gambling with having to first buy a chest which gives one out of 5-10 items. So if you just want 1 specific item you may need to buy several boxes. Pretty genius, but evil.

Does battle.net have something like Steam's Market where players can sell their skins to others?
