the word nerd is typically meant negatively, it is used to make fun or light of someone. even if you didnt mean it that way, doesnt remove the existing context (im not saying that what u said was like bad or so, just pointing it out). its all about delivery

did some bio-informatique in canada. The biologies class out of 300 students in the amphi at least 250 where chicks. Was awesome you just sit randomly, chat a bit then leave the amphi with a new phone number

that been said i changed program after 1 semester. You have to focus and take lot of notes during biology class or you have to read at least 150pages every week to catch up ( had a 1500 pages book just on Cells for my microbiology class), so i kinda understand why there are mostly girls in those kind of programs

lmao my meaning is there is ton of informations, if you don't take notes properly you end up with lot of reading to do and it become super hard to keep up. Actually girls tend to organize their notes better than men. Lot of pen and ton of colors, a thick workbook full of sticky notes everywhere that's the classical biology chicks. A big part of those courses are about how good you can take, manage and organize your notes, girls naturally have the advantage in that field.
