Juvia's character was more than Gray, and she had a decent backstory and point. I agree she slowly regressed, but she was still a decent character. Hinata however, hasn't been more than someone who had a crush on Naruto, although she also had development as well. Both had development thanks to the people they care for and love, and both were willing to sacrifice themselves for their guys. Juvia stabbed herself so Gray wouldn't have to hurt her while Hinata was willing to let Pain stomp her to protect Naruto.

Bro, Juvia's entire character is nothing else but a lover for Gray. Her character didn't grow one single bit and her only highlight was when she sacrificed herself for Cana and now in Avatar. If Gray is sad she is sad. If Gray is happy she is happy. If Gray jumps off a bridge she also jumps of a bridge.
Not only that, but her actions became boring over humorous. It became annoying. Not only that but her panel time is always mentioning Gray, protecting Gray and talking about Gray.

Juvia's character was treated like trash and she is the obsessive type of character. Hell, she cried for 6 freaking months because Gray left her and Gray came back she just hugged me all happy. For fuck sake woman show some self respect.

As for Hinata, she at least grew as a character. Even though she was another stalker character it wasn't on the level of Juvia. And in Shippuden, she wasn't stalking Naruto as much anymore and she was actually following her "ninja way" like they used to say.

And Hinata's character has much more meaning than Juvia's.

No, it's fact. And I even said multiple times her character has regressed, otherwise she was far more than just "Gray's lover" or stalker. Have you not seen her fight and beat her enemies for her nakama? Early on she wasn't as obsessed with Gray, but for some reason Mashima devolved her (and Natsu and Lucy as well).

She grew, regressed, and grew. And apparently, kinda regressed? At least, she's still too meek. ANd Juvia's character has meaning as well, she's a fresh start for Gray and his future. Where he lost his family, Juvia represents the new kind of family. Gray lost his parents and Ur, but Juvia has stuck by his side and survived.


I already voted for Hinata btw, and I don't regret it.

Juvia's first appearance was badass. One of the coolest in Fairy Tail if Iam being honest. But she turned to be a boring, repetitive, empty character.
You can blame Hiro for that but that is the truth.

Erase everything related to Gray from Juvia. Tell me, what does she has?

I think you Hinata voters are crazy.

Juvia has one of the best obsessed girl character arcs out there. First off it has a real foundation. Gray brought her out of a world of eternal gloom that she believed herself to be stuck in forever. Then as the story progressed she actually earns her love. Piece by piece and bit by bit she works tirelessly, and awkwardly, toward the love of the person who changed her world. That is a great character arc.

Hinata on the other hand sucks.

What's her big obsession founded on? She liked how loud he is. Did she actually work toward being noticed by her loved one? Nope she just hid in the background and occasionally got injured until the main story put them together. Her character arc almost had meaning. It started good with the Neji fight. But then it went nowhere. She did nothing and earned nothing. All she did was grow boobs and play the shy girl. How is that good?

Truth to be told, I was giving @DiMaria Yesta the benfit of the doubt, and for that reason I was waiting for him to... well, what was I waiting for? An apology for his betrayal? Hmh, that's asking for too much in my opinion, even though it would have guaranteed him my vote. Regret? Nah, that would be similar to an apology. Support for the next events? No, he should vote for whom he wants, even if it would crush me. So, what was I expecting from him? Words of cheer? Now, that would have worked! A hug? Have my vote!
