A demon of the dark guild Tartaros, Keyes is made of Magic Barrier Particles and is, as the name of his curse suggests, a necromancer. One of the quieter members of Tartaros, Keyes is still a twisted and sadistic monster, he hates humans and sees them as mere tools to use in his necromancy experiments. A skilled user of the Necromancer curse, Keyes is able to revive and manipulate corpses, though these corpses will eventually "die" again unless they have a driving force. Perhaps the best trick Keyes has though is the Magic Barrier Particles that make up his body: not only can he use them to avoid damage, but they can also infect other mages, weakening them and even lethally poisoning them.​

Meredy needed to link herself to Juvia and multiply her power many times over just to take down Zancrow. She isn't that powerful. Her magic is unique and special though.

9d are trash. As a FT's villain they are weakest from BA. Some demons are really strong, but others... Tartaros the most "noproblem" guild.

The former leader of the Oracion Seis, Brain used to be in charge of the Bureau of Magical Development, eventually leaving and going to the Tower of Heaven, where he recruited his five other guild mates. An impressive dark mage, Brain knows a myriad of magics, with the one he uses most often being Darkness magic. He is proficient enough in this magic to be able to pierce through the "iron rock" of the Wizard Saint Jura Neekis, who is renowned for the toughness of his earth. In addition to this, Brain is also a practitioner of Organic Link magic, using it to keep a dark alter-ego hidden. We'll talk about him later...​

how can any GH member espace midnight's nightmare? or bypass his reflector?
Erik is at least stronger than zankrow (who had the fire adv the whole fight, as he can eat natsu's but natsu can't eat his's)
cobra dominated natsu before his ears got damaged and despite that, he actually won (b4 brain shotted him from behand of co)... and natsu didn'r have any room to get stronger for that short period.

Keyes is for sure a rather scary opponent to face, but he's absolutely not above Midnight and Cobra. The first-mentioned should be top 10 if you ask me.

Franmalt - get oneshot by Cobra without magic. Easily can be defeated by simple rock strike from anyone. Trashest of the demons.
Keis (or how he names correct?) - so killed by casual water blow, Midnight make him "demon bomb". Azuma oneshots him. Rose can make any type of item or magic which can destroy Keis. Even Richard can blow him like Juvia.
Jacal - can be defeated by some magical force. So Zero can deal with him. From GH: Azuma, Zancrow, Meredy, Bluenote.
Torafusa - needs some powerful bruteforce or high attack magic. Zero again, reflector from Midnight, Azuma, Bluenote, Rose, Meredy.
Tempesta - needs some speed and strength. Get wrecked by Cobra in easy, Also Midnight, or half of GH.
Ezel - wrecked by Cobra, Midnight, Azuma, Bluenote.
Kyoka - needs big daddy. Get torture by Bluenote or Midnight. Easy defeated by Azuma, Zero.

And now we have 3 powerful demons (and 2 of them also cheating).

Seila - needs some immune to macro or high lvl MP. I don't know immuner from OS and GH, so Hades will kill her like nothing. First demon who have not OS member to deal with.
Silver - needs high speed with attack or just high MP. Cobra can deal with him. Or Midnight with reflector.

And now Mard - much stronger than most normal mage but not a big deal for Hades. I also think he take much trouble with Azuma.

I swear, party from Cobra, Azuma, Blunote, Hades and Midnight can blow Tartaros like ants.

And truth be told - Hades can kill all 9 gated by himself and resurrect them again as his actual demons.


UPD. Tartaros arc was after 7 years, so they may be stronger than other guilds in past and must be, but some trained FT defeated them with less trouble than OS and GH. Yes, some demons are really strong (Seila can defeat almost every one human on earth), but that is one demon. And for her FT has Mira.

Arlock was the leader of the Avatar dark guild, a group dedicated to worshiping Zeref and "cleansing" the world of non-believers. In the end Arlock failed, but his Sacrificial Summoning magic was an impressive display of power, resulting in the summoning of the War God Ikusa-Tsunagi, a being so powerful that his sword strike caused the earth to part for kilometers. His Sacrificial Summoning magic is actually the reason he doesn't have a face, as he had to sacrifice it to form a contract with the War God. This deal was seemingly worth it though, as it allowed Arlock to summon Ikusa-Tsunagi at will, with no gestures required. He also used Magic Barrier magic, but this isn't really anything to write home about, it simply does it's job and blocks attacks.​
