Houshin engi will be the biggest anime from jump for 2018. And this is just sad.

YEah, has anyone talked about how much remembered was the original anime series? Or if the manga was a truly exceptional shonen, or maybe it was ahube ball of shonen cliches anyway? I´ve learned to have less expectations when a new shonen series is adapted cause so few have come to be as good as HxH, heck I stopped reading MHA for a while until the next arc, given the current one is boring.

I expect this series gets a decent studio. No Madhouse, No Bones, No Mappa, no high quality studios. If they do adapt the series, fine, but is an action shonen, and unless it´s as good as JoJo or HxH, it doesn´t get much expectations from me. Keep your dreams high

Not to mention, how much discussion can we really expect from a series that ended just a few years short of two decades ago. How often do we see Ninku or Black Cat discussed?

My only hope for actual jump adaptation is Hinomaru Zumou done by the team that did Haikyuu.

If this ever happens i'd hope they'd won't use the same art style like they did to Ballroom e Youkoso.

- A series with a not very good drawing style, looks like it is about ping pong.
- One series it seems like a mix of Fairy Tail and D. Gray-man.

Yeah. I don't know what he's holding. But the handle definitely doesn't look like a Ping Pong paddle.
Wasn't there supposedly a description that said t was ping pong though???


Also. I like the updated design for the Golem Hearts MC. Doesn't look like Meliodus anymore
