Caiops, it's too soon to place BC's level of success. It's entirely possible the biggest boost has yet to happen.
Dont most studios do it midway, at least that what seemed with Monster Hunter Stories Ride On, when it suddenly got a second year after being initially revealed as 48 episodes anime and then studio Pierrot's Puzzle's & Dragons, still going strong 66+ episode's nowI've been wondering, like say if the anime is a success and the BD sales are selling like cocaine, the manga gets a boost and so forth... how long would it take for SP and Shueshia to decide to turn it into a true long runner like DBS or OP, giving BC pure filler arcs or anime original stories to go along with the 1 chapter per episode pace? Or that doesn't happen often if ever?
Is this site also what is used to find the volume sales information numbers such as what was posted below in this quote? To save you from having to ask, here is the link to the shoseki rankings site:

You can check back there whenever you need to. It's all in Japanese, but it's not that hard to navigate.
Maybe but WT sales are still strong.

No. Shoseki is just the longest list around. Is this site also what is used to find the volume sales information numbers such as what was posted below in this quote?
Well they did that wih World Trigger, except because of all the manga breaks, with a full 15 ep filler arc they still ended up within 10 chapters of the manga and had to end it 25 episodes after they decided to extend it. They announced the extension around episode 35-40 from what I can find.I've been wondering, like say if the anime is a success and the BD sales are selling like cocaine, the manga gets a boost and so forth... how long would it take for SP and Shueshia to decide to turn it into a true long runner like DBS or OP, giving BC pure filler arcs or anime original stories to go along with the 1 chapter per episode pace? I always get confused because of the early releases and all that. When you say the last chapter it is the last officially released or the one leaked? The last chapter of Neverland is the perfect example of why a copy-and-paste direction would not be good for its adaptation. 20 pages in which a lot is said, but nothing happens.
why no number next to these? all of them are miniseries?Vocchi-men
Seija no Koshin
Tsugi Hagi Quest
MIA -Unjo no Neverland
Copy/pasted from the sales thread:why no number next to these? all of them are miniseries?

I really want s3 time bokan 24. Its so fun.Men Time Bokan destroy BHA in the ratings. 7.7 for the first episode on the same time slot. How Can BHA even compete. Time Bokan is the next Doraemon. I dont think the next season will be on this time slot.
Goku only died 2 times. 1 against is Brother Radits and other against Cell. One Piece did it too with that guy's death. It might just be a Toei thing. I guess it matters less with DB though, since Goku has died and been revived like 5 times now.

Your post made me laugh so hard... Thank you for the comedy moment. XD
Read the next sentence carefully and try to absorb its meaning: ANIMES ARE MADE FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADVERTISING THE ORIGINAL WORK (THE MANGA) OTHERWISE IT WOULDN'T MAKE ANY SENSE FOR THE PUBLISHERS TO PROMOTE IT.
They HAVE to be made in such a way that the knowledge acquired on the anime makes it translatable to the original work. People buy the entire manga, even the volumes adapted by the anime, out of completeness and because there are always minor diferences, but they could, in theory, resume on the manga from the point the anime ended, In theory, because many studios make fillers and original endings (which is the worst thing ever created in the anime market). Fillers and original endings only makes the task of bringing new readers to the original work more difficult. Animes are huge PVs for the original work, they have their own revenue with DVD/BD sales, but in the end they don't last forever, anime comes and goes and the manga remains as the pillar of the franchise, it is the most important product of the franchise and the first that is promoted.

Nope, we hadn't. Why do people like to talk a lot about stuff and then don't go look it up.It is much the contrary even. In the past we had more long running animes with a lot of fillers like Naruto, but now they are short and generally with as few fillers as possible. The market became so much more efficient and the quality rose a lot in my opinion.

In fact the censorship is mainly done by TV Station. The animation studio mainly have the decision of still making the scenes and then them getting black-out, or restraining themselves while doing the scenes.Do you have any examples of series that were in a similar position as Kimetsu and weren't censored a lot thanks to a late night timeslot? Strictly Toei ofc, I know any other studio wouldn't censor a lot for a late time slot.
I think you're confusing Time Bokan with Conan. Time Bokan got a 4.3%.Men Time Bokan destroy BHA in the ratings. 7.7 for the first episode on the same time slot. How Can BHA even compete. Time Bokan is the next Doraemon. I dont think the next season will be on this time slot.
That's what I've been thinking. There's nothing wrong with appealing to children with Toriko, given that it has the same sense of adventure that you'd find on other series. That was what Toei was capitalizing on, not the bloddshed battles. And if it was done by other studio willing to do it uncensored, it would NEVER reachthe popularity if DBZ or One Piece. It may never will.Toriko, was censored, because the main audience always was young kids. Yep, young kids. And you showing a little kid anime on Television with a ton of blood don't really works. In manga you can still get away with it, but in TV? Nope.
And the people that think that Toriko woul be really popular if it was shown at night, is the same people that don't understand why Gintama is so loved by fans in the West, but the series totally flopped here. Or that think that HunterxHunter is the godlier than bread, but the popularity in the West isn't anything worth bragging about.

The leaked chapter. I'm a criminal.I always get confused because of the early releases and all that. When you say the last chapter it is the last officially released or the one leaked?
Okay, so I cannot discuss it properly, but if it is just a conversation chapter, it will last some minutes on an anime episode, and then move on to the next chapter, what's the problem? If you think that the so called 1-on-1 copy means "1 chapter per episode", you are mistaken. We are not that naive, we know what pacing means. The leaked chapter. I'm a criminal.
I used the last chapter as an example only to emphasize that the manga is essentially made of expository dialogue.Okay, so I cannot discuss it properly, but if it is just a conversation chapter, it will last some minutes on an anime episode, and then move on to the next chapter, what's the problem?
And this characteristic prevents the anime studio to do a faithful adaptation in what way?I used the last chapter as an example only to emphasize that the manga is essentially made of expository dialogue.
