I‘ve been told that several people are planning to host games, so to avoid any problems like people cutting into each other‘s game signups and other things we may need a schedule of games.
For anyone who plans to host a game, you can either write in this thread for what month/day you‘re planning a game or edit it in the schedule yourself if you can.
Note that there‘s no limit to how many games can be had per month, but try not to have 2 games running at the same time.
Sign-ups!
To everyone who usually plays MG or those that don‘t want to miss signups, we‘re testing a new way to alert everyone to a new game instead of mass tags before each game.
All you have to do is go to>>this thread<<and press Watch on the top corner of the thread. I or a host will post there and notify everyone like this whenever a new game starts.
While hosting overall isn't necessarily hard, it's very easy to mess things up as we have seen plenty of times already. This naturally happens more often with newer hosts.
In order to get these new hosts familiar with how the game works behind the scenes and make it a smoother experience for everyone (no one wants a cancelled game!), we are establishing these sets of rules that follow the methods that have been used in the last 50 games:
-If it's your first time hosting, it's MANDATORY to have the help of someone that has hosted before. As long as they aren't banned, it doesn't matter if this person hosted twenty times or just once. This experienced host will be the "Main Host", while the new one assumes the role of "co-host".
-Tasks will be split in a rather equal manner so that the Main Host can keep things in check while the Co-host gets hands-on experience to learn properly.
-The Main Host has the final say when it comes to decisions (ideally, this won't need to be enforced heavily, it's mostly to avoid possible issues).
Once the game is over, the co-host can host on their own and even take the role of "experienced host" for a new host in need!
Though hostkills are becoming more frequent lately. Perhaps it's time I drop the "only if the host wants them banned" mentality and just do the bans myself?

And the townies strike back with their iron gloves!
An awesome job to everyone who made this day a lot of fun to watch and adds to the suspense. Hoping that the thrills will continue on~
Speaking of fun, I have found a human to watch from above. As an angel spectator, I wish that person the best of luck and pray for that person's success.
In honesty, even if you're not mafia this game will still suck you dry, that is if you are one of those persons who do her best to understand what the heck she's doing. Hardest thing is to understand and map all the roles. Once you get the hang of it it's easy to read people.

Yes it is very uncommon, I personally only remember 1 game where there were 2 Bulletproofs. The circumstances would be that there's at least 2 killing parties(basically meaning, a lot of possible kills at night), as well as both killing parties having some way to deal with a Bulletproof(or if it's 1 big mafia and some 3rd parties, it's enough for the 1 mafia to have a few stronger roles to counteract it).
Creating a balanced role list for a game usually follows some basic stuff that's the same each game. A Bulletproof isn't necessary for a game, but when you put one in you do it so the town has some survivability which the mafia need either luck or using one of their roles in a good way to get past. Hider works similar, but he depends a lot on hiding behind good targets to survive. So in bigger games there can be a hider and a bulletproof to block some kills at night.
Which is why things like 2 hiders/2 bulletproof is so unlikely, and becomes completely impossible in smaller(below 20 players) games. Which is why claiming those roles can be a very risky thing for mafia to do, since the real bulletproof/hider can just come out and accuse him of lying. Which is one of the reasons I didn't want to reveal first, wanted to see if anyone will try to claim it first so I can point out us having 2 bulletproofs. But our game technically does fit the description, there's a lot of players and 2 killing parties. Mafia also had a Strongman to counteract one Bulletproof.
Besides, since I already gave too many hints very early and everyone already guessed my Bulletproof role, I'd expect mafia not to claim Bulletproof this game, so if anyone came out as BP I wouldn't necessarily have suspected them. On the contrary perhaps I'd have considered them a definitive townie. But now that all this has been said I most likely can't use those thoughts if another bulletproof comes out, which is a shame since that's one of the few things a Bulletproof can do in a game. Pretend to be important or do a lot at day phase to bait kill attempts to block them, and lay out traps for any mafias claiming Bulletproof themselves.
Roles like BP and Hider are very popular mafia role claims, especially once they find out there isn't another BP/Hider in the game(and especially if they believe there's another killing party, so they can ensure themselves not to be targeted at night). You can see that from last game, where Arjun was mafia and pretended to be BP, Lambu was mafia and pretended to be a Hider, Elusia was mafia and I wanted her to claim BP. Some other mafias probably claimed similar.
Not reading everything in the game thread but that Day Kill from @Erinyes was kick-ass. Also, 3 Mafia down in one day, is that some sort of record? (At least from the same mafia.)
