Its doubtful heroaca will ever reach peak naruto sales and be a global phenomenon.
Isn't that just something that applies in general to manga? I don't think we'll ever see something new on Naruto's popularity level anytime soon or ever again xD.

So, no Jump next week?

I think 3rd season will help it reach Haikyuu level of sales, but it will stop there.

You mean, 900k per vol? TPN can get there. BnHA I don't think so.

I checked throughly and Neverland's new site is definitely, well, new. It also has a fairly different look from other dedicated Jump sites, which are more simple and straightforward. Like Black Clover's or Kimetsu's. I also checked around and it looks like they're going to start going to start a bunch of special promotions and stuff? At least something about getting some newly drawn stickers if you buy volumes 1-7 during some sort of fair starting January first.

Many think that BnHA has been pushed to be the new Naruto, so its sales need to be on the same level as well. That's why BC is even more f*cked up.
Good thing Heroaca was never compared as such to begin with. We already had the editor and chief pass off that stigma of being the "next Naruto" to Black Clover so yeah its fate is sealed.

TPN can't even beat pre anime Heroaca and isn't selling AssClass numbers either.

BLack Clover is already a worldwide phenomenon. Why else is it being shown in theaters outside of JPN, or heavily promoted, or giving a multiplatform internationally released game way before other properties, or given a year long anime. I believe It has the potential to be Naruto level.

Almost no one likes Black Clover in the west, look the score and the numbers of members

This is something popular in the west:

Every Jump anime has a game, its just a PS4 game because 3DS is dead. Even after 13 episodes, the manga is still selling 200-250k after a few weeks, it will never reach Naruto level.

Stop the nonsense, Shark. The maximum that BC will achieve is to be Your name level.

Exactly and TPN was featured in AmeTalk and apparently other tv shows which shows it had more promotion than MHA.

Not that I’m arguing that TPN will be a million seller, but I feel like the pre-anime sales for anything isn’t really an indicator of how big the boost will be. It may sell less than MHA pre-anime, but could end up getting a way bigger boost with an anime

MHA has already reached its peak; it can't go much higher. TPN can definitely keep growing and might have a higher ceiling. Let's see how volume 7 debuts in January before making any calls, though.

It's no fair to compare TPN to MHA. MHA only have anime to back up it's popularity and Pri-anime BnHA got almost no push while TPN have a massive pushing.

That's true. HQ and Kuroko pre-anime sales were nothing to gawk at but then they both wind up being million sellers after the anime (though we all know the reason why that happened). Problem is we don't know how exactly a boost works since they tend to be different depending on series so its hard to say if XXX is going to be a million seller after the anime when there's nothing to go by with it.

People say the exact same thing last year and now here we all. If One Piece has taught us anything is that you're never too old to capture a new audience and you don't just stop selling. I think people think Neverland's sales are an abnormality when it actuality its a prime example of Jump' succeeding in vast promotion of a particular series compared to duds like Toriko and (soon to be) Black Clover.

One Piece exploded, even further, thanks to a rather high-quality arc that gave the manga a genuinely epic sense of scale and progression; the big "movie" event and all the marketing helped, but the core of the growth was achieved by Oda's talents as an storyteller. Regardless of S3, a movie and game, Hori won't be able to achieve that sort of "if you're not reading this, you're being left out" general pop culture appeal that Marineford accomplished. So, in my opinion, comparisons between OP's sudden massive growth and anything similar for HeroAca feel extremely misguided.

I'm not entirely sure that is a fair comparison. I'm of two minds on this issue. One I sincerely doubt that we'll ever see a success on the level of Naruto, Bleach, or One Piece regardless of writing quality or presentation as I believe a large part of their success is due to a combination of factors involving timing and the advent of the internet.

Secondly, if we're using the Marineford Arc as an example, One Piece took 550 chapters to reach the Marineford Arc. That is 550 chapters of world building and character moments leading up to that point. In my mind comparing a 164 chapter manga to a 889 chapter behemoth like One Piece is kinda churlish.

It just seems like MHA's storytelling quality seems to be a separate issue to whether or not it can achieve similar results to the "Big 3" in their prime.

OP had several boosts through its run. That boost was contributed to the hype surrounding its 10th movie Strong World not Marineford which was already well into it when the boost began. Granted it was a great arc for longtime fans but I wouldn't say it was what brought new fans in after 12 years it had been running at that point.

That arc had nothing to do with that boost it was largely the marketing campaign towards Strong World that got new people into the manga. If a good arc is all it took for a boost than it wpuld have gotten it during Water 7 as well. Also why would new readers want to pick up a manga for an arc thsts 60+ volumes in to the story?

AOT had already moved 600k-700k per volume before the anime though. It's not fair to either of the series by calling MHA the next Shingeki.

I don't know about Kukoko, but I wouldn't scoff at Haikyuu's pre-anime sales. In 2013 pre-anime it sold 2,056,211, not that much behind TPN and MHA. Its volume 6 sold 228,557 in 3 weeks, compared to TPN's volume 6, which sold 237,386 in roughly around the same amount of days, and I don't think it had as much boost as TPN besides being "the other sports series in the same magazine as Kuroko".

Peak storytelling of one piece was alabasta. I dont think a war arc of the greats was actually that welcoming to new comers.

Though i got into one piece at the start of marineford.
