Lies!!! I don’t believe youI guess. I will..I'm still young, been the same weight since I was 14..30 is not too far...

supposedly metabolism changes every ten years. I've noticed. My weight started to change when I hit 24 (I used to be quite thin, around 52kg). Same happened with my older sis and I read metabolism changes around the 25. We pestered my younger sis about it and now she's 29 and still the same thin shit (must not envy and hate - repeats the mantra). So although metabolism drops as we age, the effects vary and some people might never display a noticeable weight change even within families.

Have you read it? Got it from my brother-in-law who said he laughed out loud reading it, which is something he usually never does with books. That does sound promising..The Sellout
Well, Thud! is the best title in there.@Xadyu You wanted to decide for me which book to read next, right?

Nocturnes by Kazuo Ishiguro
Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer

The Sellout by Paul Beatty
Shades of Grey by Jasper Fforde
The October Country by Ray Bradbury (reread)
The View from the Cheap Seats by Neil Gaiman
