Takeshi chapter is out. God bless Kewl for translating, this chapter alone had a Kinnikuman, One Piece & DBZ cameos.

Any Toriko fans, seriously read this manga.

When they replace you after 2 volumes, but they still pretend you are part of the story.

I'm already "excited" about all the anime-youtuber, who, when watching the Dr.Stone anime one day, say how they want Senku become the protagonist of the story, believing that Oak-boy(forgot already the name) stays as the leading maincharacter.

Btw, did something like this happen in a shounen, that the main character, with whom we start the story and stay for several chapters, gets pushed aside for the "true" main character?
I've seen this in books happen, but in a shounen-manga it's rather rare, bc many shounen gets identified through their protagonist. Dr.Stone is a weird case, when I think about it.

Closest example from what Ive read in Jump is World Trigger, though its more dualing MCs rather than one getting shafted. It is indeed a weird case, and probably not something many new authors get the chance to do because they’ll be cancelled by then.

Can they just let Boichi be in charge for the manga volume covers from now on? That's such a good illustration.
I don't think the volume covers get printed without his approval, I don't think there is nothing to blame him.

Considering this is his first big chance to make it really big as a mangaka, he might be slightly reserved on sharing his opinion about the cover designs or he's simply too busy to care about such things when he's busy with two weekly serializations.

Surely this didn't make him slightly angry.

Does anyone know if this has anything to do with Boku no Hero Academia? It's from Noitamina's YT channel. I know Plus Ultra wasn't a phrase invented by Hero Academia, but it's kind of weird to see this.

Talking about Dr. Stone, I just read the last chapter and must admit that my desire to see Dr. Stone's anime has increased a lot. As Shueisha is doing everything for manga to sell a lot, it would not be surprising if Dr. Stone had an anime announcement before Chapter 70, just like World Trigger and Boku no Hero.

It smells like Toei anime.

Wait a little bit longer, I'm keeping my Dr. Stone anime speculations for later! xD. I don't know why people smell Toei, but there is one comment regarding the anime from a Q&A Boichi did on his website, from November 2017. Boichi himself wants an anime studio that can depict nature well and beautifully, which would mostly depend on the backgrounds and how good they are.

Who is Boichi's editor and what is his favorite anime studio, lol. We need answers, now! xD
Edit: Boichi gave us some clues, I assume he's referring to Toei, right? Damn, but it's nothing set in... STONE.

I've thought about JoJo, but it's still something different. At least in JoJo every new MC gets their own story with a beginning and an end, before we change time and place again. In Dr.Stone we continue with the same story, but having a new perspective & character. It's not even that we have a story, which is told from 2 POVs, bc I cant even recall the last time, when we saw our buffy dude from the start.
But it's interesting, I must admit, and Senku is the more interesting and entertaining guy between these two, so I don't even mind.

I'm not sure anyone would talk about this assuming that the anime first visuals would make it clear that Senku is the main character, i mean Taiju was like the lead main character only for the first chapter (though Senku took the spotlight on the first cover).
The story started to focuse more on Senku after Tsukasa's introduction (chapter 3).

Hunter x Hunter maybe? with Kurapika being the main character for the current arc and earlier on Yorknew City arc.

So Noelle is a good female character because she gets powerups and she defeated an obvious jobber. Wow she's Sakura tier now.
.
Let's not joke, Noelle at least makes it useful from the early stages of the series. Sakura had to wait nearly 30 volumes for a decent fight.

Honestly of Black Clover you can say everything, but IMHO the female characters so far have not been used badly.

The day Kyoto Animation adapts a battle shounen is the day One Piece ends.

Aka never

Not sure if this has been posted already, but apparently TPN has 3.4 million volumes in print so far.

Well, this is more a case of popularity than planning, but, Arale was supposed to be just a special guest on Dr. Slump. Senbe was the MC. But her reception was so good that Toriyama changed his mind. In the middle of the series, he returned to give attention to Senbe, and the popularity fell.

Would be great for me if Bones or Lerche took Dr. Stone. I always remember these damn good faces (that are present in Dr. Stone too) in Soul Eater xD

Beside these, OLM would be good also, but I think they don't pick WSJ series.

I fear for the pacing. Things in Dr. Stone happen too quickly. In an anime, timing may end up being an even bigger problem.
